Easin' into summertime... Posts: 3,720 Group: Admin Member #109 Joined: April 25, 2005	Did you catch it yet? I finally got a chance to sit down and enjoy the episode last night. Is it just me or is Mike I. riding the coattails of the better chefs and taking credit? I thought when they called him out on it last week, he would have stopped, but he was back at it again. I was sorry to see Hector go.
	Those who can't laugh at themselves, leave the job to others. Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, Satan shudders & says... 'Oh, crap...she's awake!!’

ART Masterpiece Posts: 2,560 Group: Writer Member #3,567 Joined: July 13, 2009	Yes, I watched. I didn't get a chance to do a recap. I was also sorry to see Hector go instead of Mike I or Ashley. I like Ashley, but she ends up in the bottom a lot. Jesse finally left. She really didn't have the background to have done well. Mike should be the next to go.

ART Masterpiece Posts: 2,560 Group: Writer Member #3,567 Joined: July 13, 2009	Jesse had admitted she had no formal training. She'd probably do much better on HK. Top Chef puts some really outlandish ingredients into major haute cuisine and if you don't have the schooling and are young like her, she was in over her head. I think schooling helps, but isn't necessary if you have the years of experience. Unfortunately, she had neither. I do agree that she is a very good chef, just not at the same caliber as the rest of the cheftestants. If you think about her dishes, they all have been good, just not that tough or imaginative. But, no need to argue. I am just bored. LOL. Where is Bored, btw? Haven't seen her around.
