However, if they are not too careful, it's going to lose it's novelty like Survivor and The Amazing Race did. IT was best when there was that break between. I also don't like when they recycle contestants or people who are like previous contestants in looks, personality, etc. Is anyone else hoping that Katee's roommate Natalie (the redhead that should have made last season, but got cut in Round 3 @ Vegas) finally makes the show?

Opinionated Posts: 5,733 Group: Admin Member #317 Joined: August 14, 2005	The tryouts have begun. Evan's brother made it to Vegas as did a few other tappers. I hate this part, so don't expect much from me until the actual contest begins.

They really did cut down on the number of bad dancers. I wish they would quit doing the sob story backgrounds. Can't we just appreciate them for the way they dance? How many of the "inspirational" dancers actually make it through? I have to say that reality television has jaded me a bit.

Nigel was ready to ... well maybe let himself be abducted by aliens?! One girl admitted to being abducted by aliens "just once" and that was too much for poor old Nigel. There was a young boy who kept everyone entertained and made it to choreography and then collapsed ... I may be cyinical at this point but I didnt think it was for real ... the kid couldn't cut it so he had a dramatic exit. Of course, maybe he isn't strong enough for this kind of comp. Who knows. Boston is the next stop on the tryout tour.

I just hope it's something as simple as an asthma attack. With his hyperactive nature, I hope he gets it looked at. I loved his exit in the street. "You're supposed to drive away dad". That was classic!

Opinionated Posts: 5,733 Group: Admin Member #317 Joined: August 14, 2005	I loved that part too and is why I questioned the validity of his collapse ... also my concern, if it was real, was that he may not be a healthy individual and uses his humor to cover up his illness ... whichever it is, I enjoyed his enthusiasm but it would have worn thin fast.
