Terrell and Joanna were the losers last week and sent from paradise Terrell Owens & Joanna Krupa Jeff Kent & Ali Landry Robert Horry & Estella Warren Bode Miller & Paige Hemmis Kristi Leskinen & Maksim Chmerkovskiy Lisa Leslie & Dan Cortese Jennifer Capriati & David Charvet Brandi Chastain & Julio Iglesias, Jr. The show returns to the announcement that T.O. and Joanna have returned to the show. (It is beginning to seem like all of these start studded reality shows find a way to bring their favorites back ... you can never count an ejected particpant out of the game.) Jennifer Capriati suffered a challenge ending injury so per the rules, David Charvet of Baywatch fame was also sent home. OR WAS HE? T.O. and Joanna, again per the rules the last couple eliminated returns so last weeks loser have another shot The first challenge was a relay race which seems right up T.O. alley. And of course he leaves everyone else in the dust. Surprising is the fact Maksim of DWTS fame, and his partner Kristi came in second. Maks beat out some awesome athletes. Julio Iglesias was also pretty awesome. Surprisingly Lisa (pro women's basketball) has not been very impressive .. ending up in the bottom of the pack last week. She seems pretty awkward for an sports figure. Then we discover she is taking it easy because her basketball season begins soon and she can't afford an injury. Bode Miller wanted to keep the race honest so he and his partner did the one 'free' false start at the beginning of each race. IF a second false start occured the offender is eliminated from the race along with their partner. The top three were T.O. and Joanna, Maksim and Kristi and Bode and Paige (Extreme Home Makeover). T.O.'s team finished first. At the beginning of the race for second place Maksim failed to start when Paige just sat down instead of running. After some urging Maks ran the race and his team came in 2nd. It turns out Bode and Paige had planned the sitdown being comfortable with 3rd place and wanting to save their strength. During the race however Dan Cortese suffers a devastating hamstring pull and after getting medical attention it is announced he is too seriously injured to return. SOOOOOOOOOOOO David Charvet returns to team up with Lisa. The second challenge is a broadjump type event. The teams decide how far they can jump out into the water. They receive points for making their jumps and 0s if the don't make it. They are all given one practice jump to get an idea of what it's all about. They begin at low tide and all seem to over estimate what they can do. By the time the competition is midway the tide is higher, raising the bar higher and no one is making their marks including T.O who sat his pretty far ... over 20 feet. At low tide he'd make it with ease but he didn't make adjustment for the high tide. At the end with both events added together. T.O. and Joanna and Maksim and Kristi are the top two. The next step is the bottom four teams go to the obstacle course. Bode Miller & Paige Hemmis, Robert Horry & Estella Warren, Jeff Kent & Ali Landry, and I can't remember the last team were forced to compete to stay in the race. It was the end for Robert Horry (the heckler of the events) and Estella Warren .. now we just have to wait and see if they 'come back'
