We can tell that this is going to be another exciting episode of BB 10, because it takes them for-ev-er to recap the last episode. Dude, do y’all really not have enough to fill an hour with? I’ll jump up to the sumo wrestler in the living room … The final four (Dan, Memphis, Keesha, and Jerry) all look at the sumo wrestler, but Dan does so most intently. When the wrestler stands up to do his little sumo wrestling thing, Dan’s the only one that notices that the dude is sitting on an envelope, so when he gets a chance, Dan grabs it. It lets the HGs know that getting the envelope has launched a luxury competition that will give somebody a trip out of the house that could, “change the entire game.” Game-wise, things are predictable. Jerry needs to do whatever he can, so he says anything and everything to anybody and everyone. One of his arguments for Dan and Memphis taking him to the final three is that the jury has already said that if there’s a woman in the final two, that’s who they’re picking. Um, okay. Keesha, of course, is a little nervous that she’s going to end up number three, but she doesn’t latch on to Jerry like I kind of thought she would. The luxury competition starts with BB showing us a view of the backyard. There are a ton of random objects set up, including a gorilla that goes into the house and into the DR, where he reveals himself to be Jesse. Yawn. I’m sure you’ll be surprised to hear that he talked about how awesome he is. The point of the luxury comp is that the houseguests have to figure out the phrase that is being represented. The trick is that not all of the things are actually related to the phrase, so the gorilla covers them up one by one. The HGs each only have three guesses, so they have to decide whether or not to make a guess before other people do or to wait until they’re sure. Jerry uses his guesses up quickly, Keesha at least keeps one guess for the end, Dan waits until he’s confidant, and Memphis has no frickin’ clue. At the very end, Jessie makes a noise that Dan recognizes and when they return into the house they see a gorilla costume glove hanging by his picture that confirms it’s him. It doesn’t seem like they really care, though. Dan wins the luxury competition and learns that his prize is a private helicopter trip to a remote beach for a day. He has the option of taking any houseguest or jury member with him. Of course he doesn’t want Memphis or Keesha to feel that he’s closer to one over the other. He thinks that Michelle, after her bitterness over what’s gone on for her (losing a trip and getting backdoored) will appreciate going so much that she’ll vote for him in the end. However, he tells the other houseguests that he’s going alone because he doesn’t want to create any animosity in the house. Jerry remembers that the note said that the trip could impact the game, though, so he speculates to the group that the jury will be at the beach. In any case, he knows to be suspicious of Dan and that there’s more to the story. Next up is the final nomination ceremony where Dan pulls the key of the one person that’s not on the block. Of course the veto holds more weight than nominations this week, so it’s more about Dan trying to put forth who he wants people to think he’s aligned with. He nominates Jerry and Memphis, trying to hide the Renegade alliance. Memphis was in on the plan, but he managed to make Jerry and Keesha believe he’s upset about being nominated. So, as long as either Memphis wins POV or Keesha votes Jerry out, the plan will be successful. Of course, if Jerry wins POV and votes Memphis out, things will be dramatically different. Judging how well Memphis has done in competitions, Dan should probably try to pull this one out too so that he can really control the vote. |
