Opinionated Posts: 3,742 Group: Writer Member #317 Joined: August 14, 2005	This years competition is nearing the end. It's been a great year of awesome talent. Even before the top 12 I had some I loved and hated to see them cut. In the past it has always been easy to pick the top 1 or 2 you'd like to see go to the end, but this year is much harder. I didn't take notes during the show last night and can't even name all the dances. I figured if anyone screwed up real bad I'd remember it. Joshua was back with Kattee; Mark and Courtney were paired as were Chelsie and Twitch. Twitch and Katee have been the judge and fan favorites since the start ... for me not so much ... I like Twitch and love to watch him dance. I would not be upset if he won this whole competition but I think someone else deserves it more. Katee has always left me cold and I never understood why everyone was such a big fan ... admittedly she has had a number of memorable performances, but she never really moved me. Chelsie and Mark are awesome (note ... I am not commenting on the dances/partners from last night .. just the dancers) Mark has come a long way and after watching the hip hop number he did with Courtney last night, he did deserve to edge Will out of the competition. Chelsie can move and that girl always draws my attention away from whomever she is partnered. She has always brought a smile to my face and a great performance to the viewers. So I saved the best for last ... for me anyway ... Joshua and Courtney ... maybe they aren't as technically perfect as some of the others ... maybe they mess up a little more than some ... maybe ... well no maybe's the fact is these two performers have NEVER failed to bring me to my feet with feelings of sheer joy of their performances. These are my picks for the top ... either as the winner would make me happy and feel America knows what entertainment really is. I don't think a dancer, actor etc needs to always be perfect BUT they DO always need to move their audience and entertain entertain entertain ... Joshua and Courtney, in my opinion have excelled at doing this all season. If you stopped in for a recap of last night you won't get it from me, but maybe someone else will ... the reason ... there were no flaws .. the dances were awesome. I would expect nothing less from the top 6 and they delivered like pros. No matter who goes tonight ... Nigel was right, they have nothing to be ashamed of and they all deserve to be where they are ... he said interchangable but I won't go that far .. JOSHUA .... COURTNEY ... you have my vote

I started to take notes, but set them aside so I can watch some awesome performances last night. I thought Mark and Courtney's performances were magical. Mark has been my favorite from the beginning. His contemporary piece choreographed by Tonya was just perfect for him. When he dances in his own style, he reminds me of Gollum. I loved his solo tonight too. Katee and Joshua should be in the finals, but I don't know. I loved both of their performances tonight as well. Their contemporary piece choreographed by Tyce was amazing, but the image I keep going back to is Joshua's torso during the Paso Doble'. I get a little heated just thinking about it now. He performed it so masterfully. Was it technically proficient? Who cares? They were an awesome duo. Twitch and the lovely Chelsie also had a good night. I always feel terrible for the ballroom dancers who have to do solos. They have so little to work with, they should be able to have a partner to show off their moves with. Twitch was brilliant during the hip hop performance, but I was expecting it to be a little better choreographed. I don't mean to jab at Napolean and Tabitha, it's just that they've created some very memorable piecces this season that I was so hoping this would be one of them. I can't pick a final four because they all DESERVE a spot. However, if I had to pick two to go home it would be Chelsie and Twitch. I will say the votes coming out of the "Funny" house were for Twitch, Mark and Katee. Don't even get me started on who should win? They all should, but I'm hard pressed to find one that earned the title more than the others.

Opinionated Posts: 3,742 Group: Writer Member #317 Joined: August 14, 2005	In the finals we have Katee and Courtney for the girls and Joshua and Twitch for the guys ... I'd have preferred Chelsie over Katee but over all it's hard to not be happy 3 of my top four picks made it to the end.

That being said, I'm so glad the final two ladies are Katee and Courtney. I loved me some Chelsie too, however, it's poetic that she and Mark left at the same time. I was so hoping to see their Bleed Love routine again. It was my favorite of the entire season.

Two of So You Think You Can Dance's Top 4 fourth-season finalists reportedly collapsed during Saturday rehearsals and were subsequently rushed to nearby Cedars Sinai Hospital, People reported Monday. "The kids are completely dehydrated -- two of them," So You Think You Can Dance judge Mary Murphy told People. "I'm sure they're doing a lot of blood work to see if there's anything else." More So You Think You Can Dance 4 News Stephen "Twitch" Boss, Katee Shean, Courtney Galiano and Joshua Allen comprise So You Think You Can Dance's Top 4, however People reported Fox representatives declined comment and did not release the identities of which two were hospitalized. The two hospitalized dancers have since been released, a source close to the show told People. Out of fairness for the finalists, Murphy explained that there were "no more rehearsals" on Saturday after the hospitalization and added "all rehearsals were called off" on Sunday. "The other two [dancers] could not rehearse as well, and so hopefully everybody is going to be in the same boat," Murphy told People. "Hopefully everybody will be refreshed by having a full day off." In addition, Murphy said the Top 4 finalists have been rehearsing 10 to 12 hours a day in anticipation of So You Think You Can Dance's two-night fourth-season finale. "They want it so bad," Murphy told People. "So they keep pushing themselves and pushing themselves and not letting anybody know that, 'Hey, I'm running on empty,' and then it catches up on them and then they collapse." So You Think You Can Dance's final fourth-season performance episode will air Wednesday, August 6 at 8PM ET/PT. The live two-hour fourth-season finale will then air on Thursday at 8PM ET/PT, with the winner being revealed based on home viewer votes.
