A former high school Latin teacher, Teresa dove head first into pursuing her true passion – working with dogs. She recently opened her own pet-sitting and pet care business in Virginia. Teresa is passionate about what she does and considers herself a workaholic. She’s constantly thinking 10 steps ahead. On top of her daily routine, she also does behavior consulting for various rescue groups. Teresa has a bachelor’s degree in Classical Languages from St. Anselm College, as well as a master’s degree in Latin from the University of Florida.

Teresa describes herself as driven, caring, charismatic and a people-pleaser. She says she comes across as sweet, but tends to be competitive and can hold a grudge if she wronged. This dog-obsessed owner treats her dog, Leroy, like royalty. She showers him with a variety of dog clothes and toys, and indulges him with yearly lavish birthday parties for him, as well.

Teresa incorporates training into their daily lives so that Leroy is constantly learning. Her motto is “Do what you love and slow down to enjoy it.”

Teresa is currently dating Gerald, and lives in Fairfax, Virginia. Her birth date is March 12, 1976.

LEROY

Leroy is a very friendly, focused performer. He knows dozens of commands including playing the piano, swimming and shooting baskets. Teresa describes him as admirable, driven and competitive. They enjoy training, taking trips, playing Frisbee and cuddling. Among his many accomplishments, Leroy has filmed a few commercials and has appeared on CBS’s “David Letterman Show” and “Cashmere Mafia.”
