Laurie is a self-proclaimed “Alpha Bitch” who says that all her dogs understand that she’s the boss.

Laurie graduated with a bachelor of arts in Liberal Studies from Vermont College. For the past five years, Laurie has been a a Dog Fitness Specialist while also running a dog day care center. She claims she only associates herself with other “dog people” because they get it.

Laurie describes herself as witty, smart and outspoken. She likes to take risks and enjoys using humor to put others at ease. Her idea of a perfect day is to do absolutely nothing except spend time with her husband and dogs. Her motto is “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

Laurie has been married to her husband, Mike, for 25 years, and has a 23-year-old son, Bryan. They currently own six dogs and live in Stafford, Virginia. Her birth date is July 16, 1962.

ANDREW

Laurie describes Andrew as laid back, well socialized, obedient and a perfect companion. Laurie believes he is an exceptional therapy dog and has a keen ability to make people smile. He was the highest scoring dog in trial at the annual Town and Country Kennel Club Show and was named the top Maltese in the U.S. Novice Rally Competition. He attends special training classes two to three times a week during show season in order to keep him challenged.
