J.D., 38
Dog Entertainer

After finishing a career in professional snowboarding, J.D. turned his lifelong love for dogs into a new profession and is now a full-time dog entertainer. He and his dog, Galaxy, tour the country performing stunt dog routines which include break dancing and ball tricks.

J.D. is an adventurous daredevil who describes himself as athletic, patient and outgoing. He considers himself to be very competitive, but also a good sport. He believes his strict style of training and focus, along with Galaxy’s mellow energy, will be a hard act to follow.

J.D. doesn’t believe in indulging his pet with luxuries—a box of special cookies is enough for a job well done. His biggest pet peeve is people who spoil their pets. Living on a ranch allows J.D. to live with his 10 dogs, four cats, one bird, two horses and two donkeys.

J.D. is married and has a 3-year-old son and 17-year-old step-daughter. He currently lives in Bend, Oregon. His birth date is April 1, 1970.

GALAXY

Galaxy, or “G-Money” as she’s known on tour, is known to have a variety of tricks up her sleeve. J.D. considers Galaxy to be an exceptional athlete who demonstrates impressive confidence and maturity. When not on the road performing stunts and routines, Galaxy can be found doing a typical everyday dog routine. She enjoys playing Frisbee, playing with tennis balls, running in the snow and swimming.
