Brandy, 26
Fashion Designer

Brandy admits she wasn’t always a dog lover. Growing up on ranch in Arkansas, she used to clean up after the family dog and swore she’d never own another dog again, until the day she met Beacon and immediately fell in love. Beacon was a Christmas gift to Brandy two years ago, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.

Brandy describes herself as adventurous, energetic and wide-eyed. She has an Associate’s degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. While at FIDM, Brandy traveled to Europe to study trends and also to Asia to tour factories for sourcing and production of clothing. She currently owns her own clothing line, Cross Training Clothing, and adorns Beacon with fashionable clothes. Her motto is to “Dream Big.”

When asked to describe her perfect day, she said it would consist of a day at the beach with her puppy and boyfriend.

Brandy is currently dating her boyfriend of two years, Billy. They live in Orange County, Calif. Her birth date is October 27, 1982.

BEACON

According to Brandy, Beacon is competitive, smart, and is a bit of a tom boy. She likes to play rough. She enjoys watching herself on the computer, going shopping and her weekly trips to her dad’s hockey and soccer games. She is well behaved and demonstrates good obedience skills. She has a background in agility training and has been taught to do a few tricks, including walking in a circle on her hind legs, jumping hurdles and ringing a bell when she wants to be let outside.
