It was amazing how all the reality shows were summerized and kept so up to the minute. I dont watch all the reality shows but you kept up with all of them so i could read a post and determine if it was for me or not, and have mercy if i missed an episode of one of my favs all i had to do was come to art and be all caught up and nothing was left out. Now i have not been to the site in a while but once bb10 came back on thought i would check it out and see what all was up as i have not been keeping up with the bbad on showtime. I was caught off guard by the look and took me just a minute to find things. As i read i was so excited about all the new writers you had added. I thought wow this is gonna be beyond last year how amazing cuz you all never missed a beat. Then i started reading the posts on the shows i watch bb10, sytycd, last comic standing, americas got talent, ice road truckers, and black gold. I was shocked.Kept clicking different links thought i was finding what was supose to be right in front of my eyes. I still got information on some of the shows but some have not even been wrote on since thier debut and some not mentioned at all. I really thought with all the new writers and the excellent original writers no stone would be left unturned. To my dismay it seemed like the site was days behind. I hope i am not looking in the right places and am missing the things i miss so much. Please let me know if i am. This was the best site ever and i hope it still is.

Part of this is to blame for Big Brother, and less interest in other shows, because everyone is concentrating on Big Brother. I personally, don't get any of the cable shows from the US, because I'm in Canada, and I rarely make a forum out of cable shows. Basically, over the past year we hit a real lull. A great deal of this was from burnout on behalf of admin/moderators/writers from cleaning out a neverending spam problem. Luckily, we have not had a single spammer since we switched to this software in May knock on wood. It will take time to get back to life again, but I have confidence that as we continue to chat amongst ourselves and discuss interesting topics here, more people will be willing to join in, particularly through the summer season. If you have something to say about a show that hasn't been discussed, go ahead and start a thread! Maybe someone else wants to say something, but doesn't want to start a thread... Maybe your comment will remind someone of else of something that they want to say. Basically to sum it up, ART hasn't gone anywhere, but we have been experiencing a lull, partially due to an increased focus on BB and a decreased focus on other shows. I'm not sure what you mean by new writers... we haven't added any new writers for quite some time now.

Easin' into summertime... Posts: 3,517 Group: Writer Member #109 Joined: April 25, 2005	Sure we have dflem. Some of our faithful ARTists have helped to keep track of various shows. Debbie is doing a wonderful job in helping to keep us up to date in the Live Feeds forum and the Squish and Chairo are also doing their part. I know Chairo has been around for a while, but she wasn't a full-time recappr until a few months ago and she's proven to be invaluable. If anybody else sees a thread and they want to put in their ideas of what went down on a show that we aren't covering as closely as SYTYCD or BB, just send us a PM and we'll get you going!

One explanation as to the lack of updates at times is that several of the writers haven't been well, including me. I watch but haven't always had the energy to do the updates as fast as I'd like to. AND FG ... I appreciate what you had to say but actually I have been a writer for more than a year ... how time flies LOL. There are also a lot of reality shows going on right now and at times we have to pick and choose which to watch and recap ... everyone has different favorites but as was mentioned, anyone who wants to write about or comment about one of the shows is more than welcome to do so. The more the merrier actually because then one or two people don't have to work so hard (like this is hard work <grin>

Opinionated Posts: 3,742 Group: Writer Member #317 Joined: August 14, 2005	It appears that neither the new look nor BB has done much to rejuvenate participation. Nothing is being updated. Recaps are not being written and I am losing heart. I can accept even some of the lack of participation but it's hard to accept that someone agrees to recap and update but it is not done. The portal stuff has not been changed for a long time. People logging on to find new show recaps are not finding them. This has always been my favorite reality site and have been a member longer than most and shorter than a few. If I am getting frustrated, I can't even imagine what it's like for Reality TV fans who aren't getting their 'fix' here.
