I caught this last night and wasn't real impressed. It didn't seem to have much point to it. I didn't particularly like the events except for the final obstacle course. I don't know what I expected but it was more than what I got here. It reminded me of a poor version of Fear Factor without the fear or yukky food I didn't have a chance to watch the Japanese game show, but I did record it and hope to watch tonight. It appears from what I have read it is a little closer to an actual reality show. They will be tracking the contestants on and off the show...and they will have one elimination a week. Since I am talking about what I don't like, I'd like to add Moment of Truth to the list. I find it unbelievable people are willing to destroy their own reputations and alienate their familes for money. However worse than that I hate the format. Commericals about the show within the show drives me crazy. repeating what we have already seen over and over drives me crazy. The only way to watch this show is to record it and fast forward past all the repeated stuff we just watched. Having said that, this bothers me so much I have only watched two shows since it began. |

OMG, my daughter and I laughed so hard it hurt watching Wipeout on Wednesday night's premiere. I saw John Henson was one of the commentators and I was hooked. They were absolutely hillarious. |

I am going to change my mind. I rewatched Wipeout and actually did sort of like it. The early challenges .... the big balls especially were fun to watch. I like the final segment best but wish it had been longer. Having said that I still like I Survived a Japanese Game show better ... like the obstacles and the fact we get to know a little about the contestants. |

I watched both Wipeout and I Survived a Japanese Game Show last night. Both are pretty good but have to say I am leaning towards the Japanese game show as my favorite. On Wipeout, unless they change up some of the obstacles then it is just the same thing every week ... just different faces. The Japanese show has more content and I really enjoy the competitions. Who can't relate to trying to nab a stuffed animal in one of those machines designed to take out money and laugh at us for even trying. Really enjoy this one |

Has anyone caught the baby borrowers? Stupid show .... at least in my opinion. I can't believe parents would let these obnoxious (for the most part) teens have their children for 10 minutes ... certainly not 3 days. I caught a rerun of the first episode and for me that was enough I am hooked on the Japanese Game show ... like it better than Wipeout. I gave Wipeout a second chance and still think its is a poor man's Amazing Race without the excitement |
