Who goes home tonight? Who breaks something? Who backstabs somebody? Who eats a rat? How long will the dramatic pause be before Jeff tells someone they are the next person voted off the island? So many question! Please discuss tonight episode in here.

Ozzie made the great stupid move of the season. After James warned him he was still too cocky to use the immunity Idol. How many times are people going to walk out with idol in their hands.

Best moment EVER in Survivor history! We were dancing in my living room when Ozzy's name kept coming up. I know she's not anybody's favorite player, but I love having Eliza on the jury. Her facial expressions are priceless!

Can you say Bitter Betty! What a tool. I'm heading over to the CBS website to see what he had to say the next day cuz immediately following tribal council he was a horse's patoot!

Loved it! Especially after James' remark about how he thought he was the stupidest player, for ozzy to make the same mistake as him!

If you watch "Life at the Ponderosa" and Ozzy's last words, it was clearly a humbling experience for him. He said "had I brought the immunity idol with me, I definitely would have played it". The idol is still in a hiding place back at camp. Wouldn't it be funny if James or Amanda knew the whereabouts of the II? I think James needs it a lot more than Amanda.

Apparently it's against the rules for anyone to use it if they didn't either find it or have it given to them by the person who found it. It could be re-hidden by Survivor staff, though, and then found again.

That is absolutely, positively false information. Finders-keepers is very much in affect when it comes to the hidden II. Why else would people spend so much time hiding it or putting it in a pack of theirs that is with them at all times. ;) There is no rule about the II other than it has to be played prior to the F4.

I literally LMAO when Ozzy was given the boot. This should be a good lesson not to piss off Cirie by sending her to Exile Island. What an excellent move. Eliza's expressions were priceless. Bwah!

In my opinion, James is still the stupidest player in Survivor history since he had two hidden immunity idols to play as opposed to Ozzy's one, but Ozzy ranks right up there in the #2 spot. I do like Ozzy, and will miss him being on the show, but his arrogance has been a turnoff for me this season. I'm glad James is still around. He's one of my favorites.

I hope the hidden immunity idol is still in effect, too, funnygirl, and that someone finds it. Hopefully, it will be one of the "fans" who finds it as opposed to one of the "favorites." Thank you so much for that bit of info. I didn't know that Ozzy had left the hidden immunity idol back at camp.

As Jeff said tonight, Ozzy's immunity idol is out of play. But there was a new one placed on Exile Island. Jason was sent there by Natalie during the food auction. He found the idol. Natalie convinced him not to use it promising they were voting James out tonight.

For the second week in a row, the holder of the immunity idol trusted the women and was sent packing. As soon as Jason's name was pulled the first time you could see the look on his face of disbelief ... he had been had. Then the next 3 were for James and one for Parv. The last three were for Jason and he walked off making the same dumb mistake as Ozzy

Amanda really wants James to stay. But they are outnumbered. James made it clear to Ozzy during the Tribal Council that Parv was the one behind O's eviction. Just as she was behind Jason's

Amanda feels trapped and is pretending to play with the girls though she knows she is not in tight with them. Parv tried to make up with James for blindsiding Oz but James sent her away and was the one to vote for her tonight.

What is with the guys on Survivor and their dumbness? Geesh. The Black Widow Brigade is obliterating them. I can maybe understand Ozzy not using the hidden immunity idol because he thought his alliance was strong and dedicated, but Jason is just a dumbass. He should have known better, especially since he was almost voted out last week after taking their word when he threw the immunity challenge to Parv, so he could "take one for the team" and let the others have the pizza party. He deserved to go home this week for being stupid.

It looks like another hidden immunity idol will be back on Exile Island next week. I sure hope the next person to find it isn't as stupid as Jason was.

I was practically gagging when James was eating the bat soup. That was so gross. Yuck.

I do think the Black Widow Brigade, especially Natalie, is getting a bit too cocky. She best beware. She's going to be a huge target when they have to start turning on each other.

This was not James first time at eating the bat soup. I can't remember exactly when he did it before but it was either at one of the side trip banquets or at camp.

Parv and Natalie are too much alike. One will turn on the other eventually or they will become soul mates and try to get everyone else out.

There will be a new idol. Hope James gets it, uses it and redeems himself after last year.

This is a link to the Ponderosa. It is very interesting. This is where the evicted jurors are sent. Ozzy and Jason have actually discovered they like each other and they are both getting a long with Eliza. There are about 5 videos. check it out. Jason said he's actually glad he's there instead of still on Survivor

It's one thing to be cocky to the cameraman behind a tree, it's another to be cocky to a fellow tribesman. That's where Ozzy and Jason and even James made a left turn. THey were so full of themselves and sure that these women weren't going to be able to make it without them.

IT will be interesting to see how Parvati manages to get rid of Amanda and still gain the boys vote by carefully painting a picture of what strategy looks like to them without denting their egos anymore. I'm not a huge fan of Parvati's at ALL, however, given the hand she was dealt I think she's being very REAL in her strategizing.

Listening to the Ponderosa stuff, I think both of the boys are accepting their stupidity has being soley their own fault. Ozzy is sorry he didn't take the Idol because he would have used it. The really stupid one was Jason who had it with him and didn't use it. However I don't think Parv will get Ozzy's vote no matter what and when the next person gets to Ponderosa Jason will probably feel the same way.

I noticed that Jeff kept James after Tribal to have his finger checked. I read at one point that James leaves the show due to an injury but still goes to the jury house. The preview of next week's show sort of indicates he may not stay in the game. Said he needed his hand for work and couldn't risk it... or something to that effect.

I don't think Parv will get Amanda out. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't Amanda and Parv at the end together and I think Amanda will take it if that happens. Parv even turned James against her and there is no way she will get his vote. When James tells Ozzy and Jason that Parv was behind both of their evictions that will be another she won't have.
(Ozzy knows because James spilled it at Tribal just so Ozzy would know)

I don't think Parv is playing a good game. She is alienating everyone, she claimed to be loyal too and they aren't going to forget that. She jumped ship when she could have had Amanda, Ozzy, Eric and James behind her 100 percent. I don't think Cieri would have jumped if Parv hadn't.

Taking Amanda would be her demise. Amanda, again, hasn't done anything to be worthy of the million dollar prize and is allowing others to carry her through the game. With a group this competitive, you have to step it up on the strategy department.

Ozzy and James knows Parvati is absolutely right, but she needs to own it as opposed to insulting their intellect. I f Parvati is still there at the end, she would be smart to take Natalie with her as she is the only person left in the game who backstabbed and betrayed this jury...we'll see...

I think the girls will get the men out (James maybe due to injury) and it will be 3 women in the finals. With only James and Eric left, I think they need to think things through ... can they provide for themselves? Maybe and maybe not. If the guys had stuck together instead of trying to out macho each other, maybe they;d have had a chance

I am not saying Parv didn't make a smart move, just that it was made too soon. James, Ozzy, Jason and Amanda are not likely to forgive her or choose to award her the money.

I do think Amanda will be in final three with either Natalie or the one that Amanda was jealous of. (can't remember her name). Parv will backstab everyone to get there so she will probably also be there. She will turn on Cieri because she can't win challenges ... and is pretty lazy

When you are playing a physical game with three guys who have proven in the past and present that they will beat you almost every time during challenges, why would you want to "wait" to get rid of them? I think she did what needed to be done exactly when it needed to be done. Do it NOW and get it over with to level the playing field. For once, a woman is making power plays in a game where physical strenght generally rules. She has proven she's a worthy opponent and even though she may have orchestrated the brilliant manuever to get rid of Ozzy, she needed more votes to actually pull it off. I hope he's not too bitter to see that. I think Eliza may just give Parvati her vote if she makes it to the end. ;)

I don't have a problem with the women getting the best of the men, just Parv. She grates on my nerves. You are probably right about the timing but I really liked Oz

Guess what I heard earlier was correct. James would leave do to an injury and return to be on the jury. My feelings though are if he was well enough to return to the jury why couldn't he return to the game? They could have kept his isolated from others.

My daughter called during the show so I didn't get to watch it completely but was happy to see Amanda found the Idol and unlike the guys, was smart enough to use it.

I guess she has found out where she stands in the tribe now.

I threw up in my mouth a little when Parvati shed tears over James. She backstabbed him and he told her to take a hike. I can't believe she thought betraying him was going to keep her in his good graces.

I loved the challenge question that asked who THOUGHT they were running the game and Parv was the answer. She obviously just got a huge target on her back ... bigger than her betrayal gave her.

I was glad to see Alexis go. Wish it had been Parv or Cieri. I don't like C's way of playing the game. Always under the radar and going a long wth the crowd. Some may think that is strategy but I think it is whimpy.
Will say her husband is a fine looking man ... how did she get him? LOL

I believe the intentions last night was to vote out Erik. Unfortunately for the girls, he won immunity.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out now. I am sure Erik will be gone the first time he doesn't win immunity and then Cieri.

Okay, I want to give Amanda mad props for doing somethign that 2 physically strong males before her couldn't do; however, I can't. Granted, I loved the Oscar worthy performance by both her and Parv at TC, but she knew how the tribe was voting. Most of them were straight up with her about it. Both Ozzy and Jason were lied to about their safety.

I'm not Parvati's biggest fan, but I will give her this much. Her feelings about James leaving the game were genuine. Not only because he was so hurt he couldn't stay, but because she wanted to show him she was more than just a stupid girl.

I too was glad to see the smug look wiped off her face when she realized the majority of the players left in the game agree that she's not as in charge as she thinks she is. :laugh

My 10 year old said "he's hot" when Cirie's husband dashed out. I believe she's more than worthy of such a fine specimen. I don't understand how you don't appreciate Cirie's gameplay. It gives older, non-physical lovers of the game something to cheer about. Brains can win this game and she knows it. That's why she lobbied so hard to get Yau Man out. She wanted to be the brains behind this season. :nerd

I was glad to see Alexis go. She was somewhat of a non-entity to this game. Did we ever really get to know her? Was she more than just a giggling girl around camp? She seemed to be a lot of fun to hang out with, but she was no threat in the challenges. Especially with a bum knee. I would have gone with Natalie to go since she's proven to be a physical and mental threat in the challenges. I wonder what Parvati's angle is there.

Erik has a chance to align himself just so as to keep his game safe (think Chris in Vanuatu); however, he's shown in the past that as loyal as he may be he is incapable of lying to advance himself.

James couldn't return to the game because of the dirty, filthy and unsanitary environment in which the game is played. That was made clear by the doctor. He also had to have an IV hooked up for infection. James stated that if he didn't follow the prescribed treatment, it could result in amputation.

I like the way Amanda and Parvati played tribal council, however, as someone already mentioned, Amanda knew she was going to be voted out going into tribal, so it was no big surprise to me when she played the hidden immunity idol. There was no doubt in my mind that she had it, so I found myself rolling my eyes over her entire spiel.

I do wish it would have been Natalie who they voted out. Alexis had a bum knee, so I can't see any other reason why Amanda and Parvati would want her out of the game at this point other than because of Alexis' involvement w/Ozzy. Stupid girls. By voting out Alexis, now she and Ozzy are together on the jury. :giggle:

I agree Diamond Girl. They made it quite clear why they wouldn't let him return to the game. They had to irrigate the wound and pump him full of antibiotics to keep the infection from settling in the joint. If you've every seen anyone who has suffered from that, you know it aint pretty. :no

Amanda wanted Natalie gone, so I don't think it was the flirting with Ozzy. Parvati knew that Natalie had pegged Alexis as next to go, so she's doing a little damage control so her girl alliance isn't too choked by the surprise.

Alexis is the one who had been flirting with Ozzy. I think that is why Amanda wanted Natalie gone. Parv convinced her to vote for Alexis.

When I wrote my last comments I had not yet been able to watch the whole show. Having now seen James walk into tribal with an IV I agree 100 percent he should not have returned to the show as a contestant. I am so sorry though because this was his chance to redeem himself for his blunder last year. Of course this year will have several memorable moments. Two strong players neglected to play the I.I. and three have gone been taken out due to injuries.

I was surprised Amanda trusted Parv enough to tell her about the Idol, but I wonder if that knowledge is why Parv voted with her instead of against her. As for Amanda playing the idol because she knew how the votes would go isn't really real relevant. These people have changed their minds or lied about who they were voting out so much that she really couldn't know for sure she was the target (ie Jason ... believed James was the target) Eric telling her he was voting for her, probably was what convinced her it was true and I am glad she had the opportunity to save herself.

I loved that she revealed to the jury how Erik betrayed her. What she said to and about him was accurate. Erik has always gone with the majority, when he has know how they would vote.

One thing I can say about Natalie is that she is correct she wouldn't beat Amanda in the end. Cieri says the same thing ... I was a little confused by her talk to Amanda, acting like she would vote for someone else if Amanda wanted her to. C was one of the ones who has been for getting Amanda out for a long time.

If Erik wins immunity next week I think C will be gone. If he doesn't he will be gone and then C. Personally I think the jury will be deciding between Amanda, Parv and Nat. They are the three strongest women and deserve to battle it out in the end.

I'm not surprised Amanda trusted Parv. Amanda knows that Parv has a lot of damage control to take part in, this gives her a little more credibility with her old alliance. Shows she can be loyal and gives some proof to her spiel to James about her all girls final.

I agree with you that it was smart to call out Erik the way Amanda did; however, I wanted the boy to point out that she only voted to keep him because Ozzy told her to. If Amanda had it her way, he would have gone and not Ami.

Erik telling her isn't what "convinced" her and Parv knowing about the idol isn't what swayed Parv. Telling Parv the idol was at the campsite and she hadn't gotten it yet could have been her doom. She needed Parv to distract the others to give her time to dig for the idol and pull off the blindside. They may have been better off letting them know she had the idol and then seeing where alliances would fall between Nat, Cirie and Alexis.

Dalton Ross has a great article at EW.com about this episode. He brought up the reward challenge and how in the past it's given us an indication of the pecking order in this game. At first, I thought it didn't, but then I thought about it. Why on earth did Cirie go to Amanda first? Why was Parv the first one out? :shifty
