I will say however I believe the really nice looking black guy with the really deep voice Has to take the prize for the worst ever audition. The guy who had the hair ripped off his chest I award the absolute dumbest award ever The sparkle girl ... the award for the person most aware of the camera and doing her best to get all the air time she could Loved the final contestant (nanny) and the one with the daughter who is ill.

Opinionated Posts: 3,742 Group: Writer Member #317 Joined: August 14, 2005	So where are all the American Idol fans? Though I said I would never do it again I have watched MOST of the competitions. I really wish they would just go to the main comp. and show us these dufus tryouts as filler. I have found a few entertaining. Neb. was it? how rediculous most of these were. I can't believe they think they can sing ... however as Simon has said, most just want their minute on television. One thing I noticed ... thought I might be the only one, is that Simon seems to have mellowed this year. Not many caustic comments. I have been waiting for the acid to drip, but no luck. Oddly I read an article about this very subject ... has Simon lost his sting? It went on to say, NO, he is always nicer at the beginning of tryouts and as they procede and he gets more bored THEN the mean comes out.

ART Appreciator Posts: 25 Group: Member Member #2,796 Joined: February 6, 2008	I like watching the auditions I think they are really funny sometimes and I think it is good to see what got the person to Hollywood because what if they are terrible when they get there then we can say... but she did so good on her audition song. However, I do agree with you they are sometimes a little dragged out, they could use some of it as filler.
