I'd heard of those fishing methods before, I think in a PETA flyer. But honestly, what a cool way to learn how to fish. I just pretend that after a while they take the strings off the birds throats so they can eat too. My main complaint is that stoopid stop motion freeze frame stuff that they did AGAIN this week with those bolos or whatever they were. It really takes away from the action for me, and I want to shoot the editor! I wasn't paying much attention this week, but thought both the challenges were better than all the wrestling that has been going on.
	A fly and a flea in a flue Were stuck, so what could they do? Let us fly said the flea Let us flea said the fly So they flew through a flaw in the flue

Opinionated Posts: 3,742 Group: Writer Member #317 Joined: August 14, 2005	I noticed the freeze frames used last week but I honestly didn't notice them last night. I did see them toss whatever it was they tossed and then a shot to what was or was not broken. I didn't notice it in the reward challenge either. I must say I too like the challenges this year better than most of the ones from other years. I was surprised Dave was voted off but then again not. Sheara or whatever her name is, is a lazy person who in my opinion caused more of the conflict than Dave did. She was very vocal in her dislike of him and I think that had more to do with others not liking him than anything he did. OF course I realize we see an edited version of what happens but it didn't look like he was that bad to me. We will see how this vote affects the team in the future. I figure Sheara will be the next voted off if they go to Tribal again soon. She doesn't do bad in the challenges but man is she lazy at camp. I figure also Todd will be one of the first to find the immunity idol unless he is a total idiot. Will be good for me in the Fantasy game since I have him finding it and will be more points. Speaking of which, I redeemed myself after last week with a score of 495 for the night WHOOPY! I am finding Courtney scary to watch. This girl is so skinny I don't know why they chose her. With the food situation, she can't stand to lose anymore weight. Over all I like this episode except for Dave getting voted off, but lucky for me I traded him last week for Todd .... good move for our team.

Easin' into summertime... Posts: 3,517 Group: Writer Member #109 Joined: April 25, 2005	It wasn't freeze frame so much as it was slowing down of the frames and zooming in on the image. It was obvious when that happened that a vase was going down. I think they're trying to make this like a kung fu film. Next week they are going to start using subtitles and use a delay so that the voice doesn't match the lips. Sherea would have been okay had she just kept her mouth shut during tribal council. Trying to defend your laziness by saying you are keeping yourself fresh for challenges while at tribal council is a bit counter-productive. :rolleyes: Especially when you are surrounded by people who are themselves lazy by definition but know when it's time to get up and get things done. She'll go further than PG because she's (Sherea)effective at challenges and she's not drooling for the leadership role like PG is. Dave saying he didn't ask to be the leader during TC cracked me up. The look of incredulity on the faces of his tribe was priceless. However, I thought with the reactions that they were planning on booting Sherea. I hope they win next week and we start to even out the tribes again. I loved how James made Dave back-off when he kept trying to go in for the hug. That being said, I wish they would show more of what is going on at camp so we can see what it is about Todd that makes everybody and their brother trust him almost immediately. Oh yeah, I noticed that a couple of our tribe members had Dave listed on their Fantasy List.

I forgot to assign my team bonus points week before last but remembered this week. (Old age ain't so bad lol)
