We join the three finalists, Daniele, Dick and Zack still competing in part one of the three part competition for the title of the final HOH of the season. Last week the holder of the POV held all the power but this week it will land completely in the hands of the HOH. Prior to the comp Daniele said she told her dad, if it involved cold water she was doomed. Well folks, there was cold water … a lot of cold water. The house guests were repeatedly drenched with showers of cold water. Daniele’s tears and whimpering got continuously worse as the competition progressed. Two hours and 20 minutes into the game Daniele told Dick to start distracting Zack, so the hours of taunting began in earnest. Dick lashed out at Zack reminding him of all the really stupid things he had said, like saying “how white of you” to Eric and saying he wanted to buy a midget, among other things. Daniele grinned behind her hand as the taunting continued. Zack who had turned the brim of his hat around during the first rain shower kept his head down and didn’t respond. Finally the cold became too much for Daniele and she slid off the platform just as she was about to jump over the bunny bar. She damaged the bar and it didn’t run the remainder of the competition. This left the guys with nothing to do but stand and hold on to the key and get drenched with water. Daniele went inside and immediately wrapped towels around herself and ran to take a warm shower. Shortly after Daniele fell, Zack began what at first sounded like taunting but it soon became apparent he was mimicking the things Dick had said and making fun of his tattoos. Dick reminded Zack he also has tattoos. As the night went on we hit 4 hrs and 20 minutes and Dick is showing the affects of the competition. Daniele returns to pump him up and shout out words of encouragement. She reminded him Vincent is watching and is very proud of him. Dick gives a shout out to Vincent (Dick’s son). At five hours Daniele says come on old man you got this far you are doing so good. At five hours and 30 minutes Daniele continues to encourage Dick and tells him Zack is getting tired, he’s almost slipped a couple of times. In the DR Daniele says it sucked to watch Dick in so much pain. She tells Dick that Zack is in pain too and he has nobody to encourage him. We are switched to a look at Zack who is shivering pretty badly. Daniele keeps up the encouragement and finally you can see she is in distress over what Dick is going through. She tells him what ever happens, happens and it’s okay. If he can’t do it, it is okay. At 7 hours and 32 minutes Dick flings the key away from himself and steps down. Daniele says he is a 44 year old fart and as she bundles him up she tells him she is proud of him. As Dick was sitting on the ground, Zack walked over and said “incredible man.” Dick was finally able to wobble his way into the house and as he walked past Zack, he patted him on the shoulder. He didn't even have the energy to speak. Dick says he wouldn’t have gone on for so long, if not for Daniele. Daniele goes into the round room where a very exhausted Dick is sitting huddled on the floor, with what sounds like sounds of crying or despair. She walks in and says, “Dad, I love you …. you hear me?” He says to give him a minute and she says even if they don’t get there it’s okay. He says we have to get there. (I was so impressed and got all warm and fuzzy to see this caring side of Daniele) In DR Zack says he treated Dick like a drill sergeant and the taunting made him stronger. Zack won part one of the 3 part HOH competition. Round two is a competition between Dick and Daniele. It is called “the Chain of Command” and they compete separately, not knowing how the other has done. Daniele walks out and much to her dismay sees two big tanks of water. There is are puzzle pieces submerged in the bottom of one tank and they have to be collected and moved to the other tank and make a path in the order of the HOH winners. She says she is really not good at puzzles. She says she knew the order of HOH winners but not which pictures were to be joined together. When she finishes Dick comes out and is also NOT overjoyed to see the two tanks of water. He comments that he hopes they are warm at least. He also says that no one is looking to throw this competition. One of them will compete against Zack in the final comp. When he completes the puzzle Zack announces the winner. Daniele completed the task in 24 minutes and 9 seconds. Dick completed the task in 12 minutes and 48 seconds. Dick won part two of the three part HOH competition. Zack says it didn’t matter who he went up against. He took Dick down in a physical challenge and now he is going to take him down in a mental challenge. Dick goes into the little bedroom to find an upset Daniele with her head down. He tells her it is okay and she says no, it’s embarrassing. Dick says not to worry, he is going to do this for her and they will have the fairytale ending. The three competitors are sitting in the living room and Julie address Daniele. She says that she showed so much compassion for Dick during the first part of the competition. Was she surprised at the way she felt. Daniele says she was surprised. She had felt most of the time she wouldn’t care if her dad left or not. She said there are still things outside the house to overcome but this has been a stepping stone. Julie asked Dick about getting permission from Daniele to step off the platform, and Dick says it wasn’t so much the permission that did it but his legs were killing him and he only stayed up there as long as he did, for his daughter. Next Julie asks Zack about the hours of verbal assault Dick threw at him and Zack says he was numb all over and his brain was numb so he didn’t hear it. Next up we get another look at the Jury House as Jameka arrives. Eric and Jessica’s romance seems to have continued. Dustin mentions the thin walls in the jury house and people know what is going on. Jessica asks Eric when he is going to come to Kansas to see her and after a pause he says hopefully very soon. Everyone was surprised, and some disappointed to see it was Jameka and not Dick who entered the Jury House. She shows them the video of Zack nominating Dick and Daniele and his little speech about nobody else having the stones to go after them but he would be the muscle to get them out. Someone said they thought it was hair raising good. Dustin loved watching it. Now we have reached the third and final part of the competition. To the victor will go all the power. As expected it is questions about the evicted houseguests. However this was a compete the answer competition. Julie will read six statements made by the six HG’s now in the jury house. She will give two options for the answer. They are to select the correct one and will be awarded one point for each correct answer. Question number one: Amber said the moment in the house that irritated her the most was: A. When Jen cried about her picture B. When I was handcuffed to Kail The answer was A. Dick got it right and Zack got it wrong Question number two: Jen said the strongest competitor in the house was A. Daniele B. Myself The answer was B. Both Zack and Dick got it wrong. Score so far: Dick 1 and Zack 0 Question number three: Jameka said the fatal mistake she made in the house was: A. using the veto on Jen B. not looking out for herself earlier The answer was B. Dick and Zack both got it right. Score now is Dick 2 and Zack 1 Question number four: Dustin said the most shocking thing to happen in the house was: A. when he was evicted B. when Amber went off on Eric The answer was B. Dick and Zack both got it wrong. Score still Dick 2 and Zack 1 Question number five: Eric said the funniest moment this season was A. When Jameka called Dick’s mom a bitch B. When Jen said I’ll now perform eating The answer was A. Dick and Zack both got it right. Score is now Dick 3 and Zack 2 Question number six .. the final question: Jessica said the person whose game play she respects the most is A. my own B. Eric The answer was A. Both Dick and Zack got it wrong. DICK WINS 3 to 2! We join the final three in the living room and Julie says Dick is the final HOH and must evict one of the remaining houseguest. She says it is important that they still go through the formalities. Each of the other two are given a chance to say why Dick should keep them Zack says he played against the best of the best and he lost to the best of the best. He says when they win all that money to remember his inventions. Daniele says she wouldn’t be here without Dick. She is honored to sit beside him in the final two. Without preamble Dick evicts Zack. Then says to Daniele, “We win the whole thing. We won.” “We did it. We did it. We won. Yes, yes, yes. We won everything.” Followed by lots of hugs. They said good bye to Zack and he said he didn’t agree with their methods but it worked for them and congratulations. Zack walked out to meet with Julie and said it was nice to get out of there. Back in the house Dick tells Daniele it doesn’t matter what happens now, they have won. Daniele asks, seriously, how did Dick miss the Jen question, she was always saying, after her Daniele was the best competitor. We return to Julie and Zack. Julie says that for most of the season he went without winning anything and Dick said they carried you to the end. Zack says after his alliance broke down and Nick left he knew he could ride Dick and Daniele’s coattails. Then he thought he could break away and make other relationships but it didn’t work. Julie asks him how he feels about Dick and Daniele and he says he went against the best in the game. Dick used tactics that didn’t work on him but worked on everyone else. He believes they are good people outside of the house. Julie asked him why he chose to nominate Dick and Daniele last week and break a way from them when that POV was the most important of the season. He didn’t really have a good answer. Daniele’s good-bye message to Zack: It has been a roller coaster ride. We liked each other and hated each other. We had good times and were friends. You said stuff that really hurt my feelings but congratulations. It’s all good. Dick’s good-bye message to Zack: Zack you put up a hell of a fight man. I give you that. So far as thinking you were a master strategizer you will see how far off base you are. Good luck, sorry to see you go, well not really because it means Daniele is still here, not in a mean way. You did great man, final three Julie asks Zack what he thinks and Zack says, I didn’t expect that kind of response from him. Kind of gives me a little tears, it’s nice to know they are both game players and we were playing a game. Julie announces that America’s player is not finished yet. Eric is still working for America and he will cast the vote for and campaign for the person selected by America. Sunday the final two will share their thoughts Tuesday will be the season finale and the first five evicted houseguests will also return. We end the evening with Dick and Daniele congratulating each other. Dick says again, we did it, we are the best TEAM to ever play the game. Nobody ever did it before, not even Dr. Will and Boogie. We are the best team to ever play the game.
