Sherea Lloyd was born in Pontiac, Michigan. Her family moved around a lot, as she spent her early years living in Maryland, middle school in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and high school in Dallas, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree from Florida A & M University and her master's degree from Florida State University.

Lloyd has a twin sister, Maria, who currently attends Howard University Law School. She is currently a fourth grade elementary teacher. She describes herself as sassy, outspoken and caring. She enjoys dancing, working with children and watching football and basketball. She believes she will do well on SURVIVOR because she considers herself competitive, outgoing and a leader. She believes in her ability to overcome her fears; when her mother had breast cancer (she is now fine) it proved to be a true test of her own abilities to overcome adversity.

Lloyd is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Lloyd currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. Her birth date is July 31, 1981.

For someone so educated why wasn't she more prepared? Didn't she do any prep work? Also she said she didn't like outdoor stuff. WTH? Why come on Survivor if you don't like camping?

Good question. There were several of the Survivors who left me wondering if they had ever seen a previous season, and trying to figure out just where they thought they might be going. :wacko

That's because a lot of survivors probably haven't ever seen a previous season... nowadays the people that send in tapes are too "boring" (ie: real) and they recruit most of their contestants... the last few seasons I kept a tally on the amount of Californians in the cast... that's usually a dead giveaway... and then some of the people are listed as not being from California, but they've lived their for 10 years, they were just born elsewhere...

I hope Sherea doesn't look at her 4th grade students the way she was looking at Dave. OMG, she'll scare the living cr** out of those poor kids. :giggle:

I think she's an exemplory (sp?) example of how one should behave towards a person like Dave. He was condescending on his best day. He may have been right, but he was talking to his tribe like they were 4th graders themselves. He's securing his own noose!

fg, you found the post. Yes, she was exemplary in her comments and even the tone in which she espoused them. She and Ashley were the only two willing to voice the fact that Dave was treating them as children. I still say, however -- the looks she was giving were FIERCE. I am so glad I will never be on the receiving end of one of her looks. The girl's face speaks volumes.
