Hello again everyone and welcome to only recap on the world wide web were the writers have hotter clothes than the dancers. If you've been following our struggles, we finally got a budget big enough to be presentable to the dancing community. As this is the week before the finale, we feel we are in a great state of mind to enjoy the many dances we will talk about.

Joining our panel of experts and incredible masters of the art of movement this week, are none other than chairo, Jay and Vanilla. Rejoice, readers, as this was one heck of a show and we can’t wait to share our expert thoughts on the matter.

Tonight, zee dancers are once again randomly picking a partner, but they are also doing a solo, not all the exact same one, might I add.

Numero uno: Pasha and Lacey: Hip Hop, choreographed by Dave Scott. Have we seen him before? I know you’re all sad Dan Karaty didn’t show up. In the morning by Junior Boys is the track to this dance. Please note that Lacey is a mannequin and Pasha, the nerd version of him, tries to make her d-a-n-c-e! What did our panel think?

chairo: The mannequin dance was awesome. Lacey you were spellbinding. There have been times when you seem sort of mechanical with little passion for what you are doing but this was a tremendous performance. Pasha, Bravo.

Vanilla: very cute and entertaining concept. Pasha – you were hitting really well, great job! Lacey – you did a great job and because of the character you had to play I didn’t see your cheesy grins to the camera. You both did a great job.

Jay: Pasha and Lacey, that geek meets Nut Cracker meets Matrix routine was terrific. Pasha, I was worried you couldn't pull it off but you did. Lacey, is there anything you can't do? I don't think so. Great opening; good job both of you.

Back again at it, Lacey and Pasha are trying to impress us with a smooth waltz. They are adorably dressed and are swaying away to the sounds of Mick McAuley and Winifred Horan – A Daisy In December. Hunter Johnson was the choreographer for this piece and he added some technical difficulty in it when he knew that those two were performing it.

chairo: You both looked beautiful and you danced with passion. This was a good night for both of you.

Vanilla: Well, after just watching to amazing dances by danny and Lauryn and Sabra and Neil I was disappointed in this. I don’t really know the technical stuff for this dance, but it just lacked something. I was very excited to see you two dance together, but I wasn’t satisfied, sorry. And I didn’t see the chemistry that the other judges liked.

Jay: Lacey, you admitted in the preview that you had never done ballroom. The average viewer would never have been able to tell the difference. You were beautiful, elegant and graceful. Pasha, you were in your element and I liked how you did not overwhelm Lacey with your skill. Your teamwork was superb.

The second couple to take the stage is made up of Danny and bottom three favourite, Lauren. What’s the cure for such bad luck? Well, some might say a Mia Michaels choreography! They get just that, accompanied by Celine! (The Way You Look At Me) Aliens all the way for this one…

chairo: The two of you were absolutely breathtaking. Lauren, last week I felt you should have gone and Sara should have stayed but tonight you proved me wrong. You were incredible. Danny, each week you just get better and better. My favorite dance so far.

Vanilla: WOW!!!! I LOVED IT! At first I was distracted by the bit at the beginning about the aliens, but when I got past that it was awesome. Danny – I loved when you kicked up in the air and then Lauren you spun away. Very cool. Danny and Lauren you both danced that so beautifully and you were totally connecting with the music and the emotions just all seemed effortless.

Jay: Both of you won the lottery by getting Mia Michaels as your choreographer. Loved the power, style, beauty and grace. Danny, you and Mia are an unbeatable team. Lauren, finally we get to see you at your best.

Danny, Lauren and the choreographer of early top 20 doom, Doriana Sanchez, are trying to make this Disco routine as best as possible. Music: Don’t Leave Me This Way by The Communards.

chairo: I have never been a disco fan but I became one tonight. I enjoyed watching you and the two of you took me back to another era. I just loved it.

Vanilla: I thought you guys did a good job, but I wanted to see you really pull off the death drop and it didn’t work to well to me. I loved your other tricks and your facial expressions and how you really got in to it. Good job! I didn’t expect you guys to have good chemistry together – but it was really there!

Jay: Unfortunately I felt this effort wasn't as good as your comtemporary dance. Sure you both dressed and looked the part and did the required moves but I didn't feel the fire and passion. At this stage of the competition I had higher expectations. Sorry.

Ah, Sabra and Neil. Judges have put up a Sabra shine backstage, so their Mandy Moore jazz routine could be crappy and they would still worship her. The theme to this dance is a negociation, there’s even a table for it to happen! Sweet Dreams by the Eurhythmics is the music. After knowing that, I'm sold.

chairo: The two of you performed with excellence and I must say I am very surprised that you have made it this far in the competition. Once again however, you blew me away with what your performance and I see now why you are both still here. Great routine.

Vanilla: WOW WOW and WOW!!! That was so incredible! I love how you guys used the table and how you used it for lifts and how Neil, you held yourself over it (I just heard the other judges call it a plange). And the hand work on the table was fun and very in sync. I think what I loved the most though was when both of you kick your legs up in the air, your extension is so beautiful – you both stretch it out all the way to your toes. Exquisite!!

Jay: I was worried when I saw the table. I was afraid the dance would have been too gimmicky. But I was so wrong. You used all of it and you used it well. Over, under, around. It was all great. Loved the gymnastics and great athleticism. Well done!

After negociating, Sabra and Neil are trying to handle a Tony Meredith Paso Doble. Neil and his mustard-colored shirt are distracting me from making any other comment. On with the sounds of Juan & Gennaro – España Cani.

chairo: Awesome, tremendous, unbelievable. I was transported to Spain and that is a great testimony to how well you both danced.

Vanilla: Wow you guys, that was incredible! I loved when your movements and turns went opposite from each other and the lifts were amazing. You guys were totally in character, but didn’t over do it at all. Overall, gorgeous! You are my favorites tonight!!!

Jay: Another great performance by a great team. Neil, you were tough, strong and dominating. Sabra, you were fiery but feminine. Great contrasts which worked really, really well.

Now, let's not forgot about the important solos. Here are some thoughts on them. First up, what did Vanilla think?

Sabra solo – Sabra you had beautiful body positions and line, I could just watch you all night! You really communicated the emotion of the song in the short
amount of time that you had.

Pasha solo – I was kind of disappointed in your solo. I thought you could have done MUCH more with the prop you brought on stage and I loved the song, but it just didn’t do it for me

Lauryn solo – I didn’t get it. It look like the other solos that you have done in weeks past and although you have grown on me recently, I didn’t like your solo.

Neil solo – Well, despite my kids arguing over the tooth paste, I really enjoyed your solo. I loved the song and the movements that you do that I don’t expect, but they surprisingly work well. Good job.

Lacey solo – Hmmmm, I am not sure what to say. I just really haven’t been impressed with you the last few weeks and you were one of my favorites in the beginning. I think there is a line with how sexy you dance and sometimes you cross that line and it just seems a little dirty. Personally I don’t like it.

Danny – Good job. You are such a technical dancer and your toes are always pointed, so when you add to a dance the perfectly flexed foot, it just works great. Your turns are amazing and you just have great movements.

And now chairo, please do share your expertise:
I think the boys out danced the girls tonight. Pasha, Neil and Danny were excellent, with Danny being my favorite. I was not real impressed with Sabra’s solo but Lauren blew me away. Lacey was also awesome but I think because I expect so much from her it didn’t thrill me.

With that in mind, who will we see in the finals?

chairo: My favorites couple of the night were Danny and Lauren. Unfortunately having been in the bottom several times Lauren may not make it to the finals. I really can’t pick a bottom couple because they all excelled tonight.

Vanilla: Personally I think that Pasha and Lacey should go home, but I think Pasha and Lauren will be the ones to go.

Jay: This has been one of the better shows of the season. Big surprise, huh? All danced well and there is little to choose between the remaining dancers. Tough as it is to choose, I would have to say Pasha and Lauren are both going home.

Boo: Surprisingly, Neil and Lauren go home and I get to see Pasha for another episode!

Well, this season sure flew by fast. Only one more results show before we know who our top 4 dancers are. Be sure to continue to read our work, as our clothing budget may allow us to buy shoes next. Yes, I forgot to mention we work with only socks on. Winter is coming!

chairo: Now meet me outside and give me my new wardrobe and paycheck before Funnygirl comes back and notices the raise I got.
boo: No! Let's stand up on our socks and show off without fear our new flowery dresses!

If you want to let us be free of wardrobe dictatorship, sign up and come chat with us! We'd really appreciate it.
The summer is ma-gic, ma-gic, oh-oh-oh
