Well?

Again, we start off with the hours upon hours of pre-show clips, and we find out that again, one twenty year old and one forty year old will be going home tonight. Exciting? I guess? Let's get on with the show.

Getting to the cattiness. The 40's aren't worried about their 20 year old counterparts, while the 20 year olds say the usual mean things about the 40's. Yawn. Next! Ok, so after that, we get back to... MarkMark time! Marky gives Markbot a chance to have lunch with two women. Markbot chooses Kelli and Amanda. The twist? They don't know that they're going to be with the other woman. DRAMA DRAMA ALERT! When they see each other, Kelli does the usual 'hi you're greeeat!' spiel. Amanda gives her the 'whoyoutalkin'to' glance along with a cold shoulder.

It turns out that both women are going to get to have dinner with Mark alone. It just so happens that they're going to be sitting on the other side of the restaurant and Mark will be eating... with both of them! He has 60 minutes - whoever he end up with at the end of the meal will have dessert with Mark. Excite! The women start chatting with Mark and seem to be quite deteremined to keep him there the whole time. So they talk with him. And talk. And talk some more. Bo-ring.

Back at the apartment, Marky has gathered all of the other women so that they can find out their assignment. Turns out that they will be planning dates... for the other group of women! Scaaandal.

Back at the diner, Mark has seven minutes and has ended up at the time with Amanda. However, he switches at five minutes back to Kelli. Once Kelli got him, she just kind of... started talking. About anything. And everything. By the time that Kelli finishes talking, Mark has seven seconds. And just as he's about to leave, she grabs something off of his face. And the buzzer goes off! Kelli is, of course, ecstatic that she won, describing it as a score for the 40's. Amanda, however, doesn't seem to be that worried - especially since Mark kissed her while walking her to the limo. Of course, Amanda freaks out and shrieks girlishly, and nobody is surprised.

After a commercial break, it's date time! First up are the 20 year olds. Mark meets them, and they find out they're going to be... playing with children! Way to show their general ineptitude, 40's! Adelaide catches Markbot by surprise, as she actually appars to be enjoying herself! Adelaide is also pleased with how he deals with kids well. Mary, on the other hand, doesn't do so well. As she relates a really boring story about her sister to Markbot, and he leaves her. Oh, diss! Afterwards, Adelaide get inivited to go back with Mark. And, right before they say goodbye he kisses her... in slow motion to make the 3 second peck seem longer! Clever, NBC. Add that romantic music and make it seem like a confession of undying passion.

The next day is date time for 40's! And they're going to be... excerising in the water... with old people! Smart plan, 20's. Too bad that the 40's have way, wayy too much fun. At the end of the date, he invites... Maria to go back with him! But, surprise! As they talk that night, Maria decides that she doesn't feel any spark between herelf and Markbot, and she doesn't even get the slow motion kiss moment at the end of their time together! Sadness and dissapointment.

After the commercial breaks, Maria is still not feelin' it. Back at the 20's apartment, we hear more uncertainty from Mary and more smug satisfaction Adelaide. And, suddenly, it's elimination night! Which means... cut to the chase time! In a shocking twist! Adelaide takes the walk, and later admits that there really wasn't that much chemistry. Bam! Now, it's time for the 40's. First, Jen is safe. Next up, is Maria, who has been saying she's going to be kicking Markbot to the curb. But, as soon a Markbot oozes on her, she changes her mind and stays. So, in the end, it is Lynn, the woman who may or may not exist on the show, who goes homme. Buh-bye.

Next week - the 20's and 40's live with each other. And there is lots and lots of kissing! Great. Excuse me while I throw up a little bit in my mouth.

Great recap Bored. I wish the show was as succinct as you are! They went a long way to get what little they had. I love that they called out the 20-somethings for being so cold during the last elimination. I also loved when the 40-somethings came up with the best "worst date" idea.

Favorite moment of the whole hour:

Jayanne: How about bowling?

Maria(?): Do you really want them bending over in front of Mark? :laugh

I could have done without the whole luncheon thing. It was a useless moment for us viewers. :no
Those who can't laugh at themselves, leave the job to others.

There are soooo, so many worthless moments on this show. Seriously. We reached elimination time with about 20 minutes to go. I was really, really sad. And the fake drama was equally as sickening. Alas, alas.
