Who will be going home: Marty or Kenny?

And who will have the best film? (My bet's on Zach)

Tune in tonight on On The Lot! Discuss the episode right here!

I think Zach is overrated. "Sunshine Girl" didn't blow me away. I actually liked "Blood Born" quite alot. I hope it makes it through. I really REALLY hope Jessica gets sent packing--that film was horrible! So boring!

I really like Zach, and while I didn't think Sunshine Girl was his best, I think it was better than the other four. As for Jessica... I was waiting for something to happen in that film... I don't even understand how anyone could possibly think someone might enjoy it.

I thought Sunshine Girl was the best of the night. Woiuld have liked to see him expand on this a little though

Second favorite was Blood Born. Things about the way this was shot bugged me but liked the over all story.

The dog about to do his "business" with the eye was also pretty funny.

The girl goes away and comes back married didn't thrill me at all but it was nicely made. Just a weak rendition of an over told story line

Jessica, it's time to say goodbye. I absolutely hated her movie. The concept could have been interesting but it wasn't. The special (?) effects were terrible and ... well nothing was good about this effort.

I also thought Jessica's attitude left alot to be desired. Did she not just see Marty get "offed" earlier in the show probably, at least in part, because of his hateful attitude toward Carrie's criticism? She's right, he must be his own biggest fan!

I didn't see it that way at all... I saw it as her taking the criticism, and even thanking Carrie et. al for their criticism, but also explaining what she was trying to do with the film. Marty was just ignorant and arrogant.

Oh I don't think she "took" the criticism. At least not constructively. I didn't get them impression she thought she could have done one thing better. She hasn't improved since that first stupid film about the lightbulb. I hope she goes!

Well here is my 10 cents worth. At first I THOUGHT she was taking the criticism well and even appreciated it but as the negative comments continued I do believe she got frustrated, believing nobody had understood her intentions and THEN I think she just pasted a smile on her face and let them think what they wanted to.

I actually thought her project was horrible. Since she admitted growing up on this orchard I just felt she did something with familiarity instead of taking a chance.

Thanks for the back up Chairo! :giggle: I guess the phrase of this show is going to be "Hey, I took a risk!" :wacko

I don't think she took it all that well either... she tried to, but she really looked p*ssed. They showed a shot of her when the judges were picking their favourite of the night, and her look wasn't disappointment or sadness. It was purely ticked off.
That said, both of her films have been pretty horrid thus far but Carrie's words were WAY too harsh. Sure it deserved criticism, but she was such a nasty b*tch about it!!

It would be tough for me to pick a favourite... I loved the premise and ending of Blood born, but I like Will's (Glass eye) style of filmmaking (cinematography) better. Glass Eye was a bit predictable, (the dog will eat it, who knew?) but I loved watching Will's way of telling it, with unexpected shots and great angles.
I hope both of those guys go a long ways.
I liked Zach's alot too, but would rank it just below the other two.

The other two were a snooze. I'll be happy if either of them go.
hope is tv dinner and a box of twinkies

I don't want Mateen to go yet because I think he has more potential that Jessica.

What did Carrie say to Jessica that was so b*tchy? I guess I missed it.

I thought Carrie's criticism of Jessica was tame compared to what has been said about her in the press and on-line. :giggle:

I waited until this morning to watch this and only because my TiVo was out of good stuff. This show is lacking for me big time. In fact, all of Mark Burnett's attempts this summer are falling short for me. :( I don't think this show can be saved. I'll keep it on my TiVo, but the only thing I look forward to is who is going to be eliminated.

It cracks me up that these kids say one thing on their video diaries and then show us a film that is completely opposite of what they just said.

I hope Jessica goes this week but I think her obvious "assets" will save her among certain voters!

I don't know jb, it seems there is a different "audience" for this show. I think her mini was far worse than her "assets" could ever be. Everybody else's was memorable...hers, not so much. :S
