Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the Always Reality Television Theatres! I hope you have your coke and popcorn all ready as we find out which director will get cut, and we view five new films. Will they be hits in the box office, or will they be box office bombs? Grab your seat, and let’s find out on tonight’s On The Lot!

Before we see anything else, our host introduces us to guest judge, the Oscar winning director of “The Devil Wears Prada”, David Frankel.

After a review of last weeks films, we cut to the five directors from last week. We find out that the people in the house either think that either Trever or Hilary will be leaving tonight. It turns out that some of them will be right when Adrianna sends Adam, Shalini and Sam back to their seats safely. Hillary and Trever are told to go sit in some chairs across the stage, and wait until the end of the show.

And now, it’s time for our first contestant of the night, Andrew Hunt. His film is called “Polished”, about a janitor that is taken for granted. He was planning his wedding at the same time as he was making this movie, but he says that he feels this movie is the best thing he’s ever done. I don’t think it gets much better than drunk, barfing aliens, but the film is enjoyable. The janitor is treated poorly by people all throughout the office, so he waxes a floor extra well, then invites everyone for free hamburgers. They all run in, slip and fall, and hurt themselves, while the janitor enjoys a hamburger. Will the judges agree with Andrew that this is the best he’s ever made?
Carrie – Vengeance is for people who haven’t the patience for karma, I thought it was sweet, I didn’t like being led by the music in the office, but I thought it was good
David – I think you’ve done better films in previous weeks. The beginning was slow. I look forward to your future films
Garry – Revenge works. Polished was quite polished, let’s see how it slides in with the rest of the movies.
My Rating:

Our second contestant of the night is David May, and I can tell he’s clearly under the influence of something when he states that he feels that Kenny is his toughest competition.. His film is called “Love at First Shot,” which is about a guy on a date, with absolutely no clue how to talk to women. He has the help of an incompetent Cupid, and while Cupid is trying to fix the situation, the guy decides to let the woman speak, and things are back on the right track. Overall, I found the film quite slow, with some decent moments. Will the judges be more inspired than I?
Carrie – I felt I’d seen it before, it had a nice look, but it should be a little more original, Cupid should have been funnier visually.
David – Everything did not come out alright this time. It was a comedy that didn’t make me laugh, you mixed genres, be clearer next time.
Garry – All of us have had relationships where we’ve said stupid cupid, but you have to have a pace. We wrote a pilot in between a couple of your jokes. It was beautiful to look at.
My Rating:

Shira-Lee Shallit is up next with “Beeline,” a film about getting back out in the dating world as a single mother. She used her son as an actor, and says he took direction better than any of her other actors. She claims Zack is the one to beat. The film was about a kid who uses a question regarding his mother’s sex life as a way to manipulate his mother into getting a Playstation Three. I thought it was a great film, but will the judges like it?
Carrie – I thought you also could have called it “slut mom” I loved the other film, and the sexual nature of this. To be a success as a woman, you have to be great, and I thought that this was very good.
David – You made me laugh, it’s very sweet, and I love the music, and the way you captured New York. I think it’s the best one so far tonight. Congratulations.
Garry – I think you gotta watch it with kids, you can’t let ‘em smile when they’re acting. Good one for the girls.
My Rating:

Our fourth contestant of the night is Marty Martin, who is his biggest (and possibly only) fan. His movie is called “Dance With the Devil”, and I guess it’s about a man who didn’t pay the mob his money, and so he is getting killed, or his wife/girlfriend is getting killed… or something. I was distracted by all the flashing. Let’s see if anyone actually likes this piece of crap.
Carrie – It’s a victory of style over substance… content gets muddied in the battle… the style of what you do is very distracting. You’re a big fan of yourself. Marty’s response: That’s my style… I had 2.5 minutes to tell the story
David - I admire your arrogance. It takes a little bit of cockiness to be successful. If you want to make Spielberg-sized films, you have to tell a Spielberg-sized story
Garry – All I know is that it worked for me, but I think when you tell a story, if you could go deeper into the characters, so you say “Oooh Jane just got killed!” not “the girl with the overbite just died”
My Rating:

Well folks, we really lucked out tonight. Not only do we get to see Marty’s film, but we also get to view another candidate for worst director on the show – Kenny Luby! He makes a film called “Edge on the End” about a kid going through rage due to the death of his father. He is also delusional thinking his biggest competition is Marty (unless the two of them are competing to see who gets the boot this week). The best I can describe this film is a trippy music video with awful music, and a lot of flashing imagery. To sum it up, it sucks more than a Hoover. Let’s listen to the judges tell him so!
Carrie - This made me long for the days of Whacked Out Cab. A little distracting stylistically, but you are a very cute boy, and if you play your cards right, I think our host might have a little crush on you
David – I admired the ambition about making a film about this, it shows a lot of talent. It’s hard to judge, it’s more of a music video, and I think it shows a lot of talent
Garry – You have new eyes (he also said something involving a Marcel Proust quote… it wasn’t important) you may not win this, but if it was up to me, I’d say you need to stay.
My Rating:

At last, we’ve reached the end of the show, and one director is about to be put out of his or her misery. Adrianna tells Hillary that she is safe, meaning that surprisingly, Trever’s blind date movie earns him the boot, and Hillary survives yet another elimination.

Judges Favorites
Carrie - Andrew
David – Shira-Lee
Garry – Shira-Lee
Me – Shira-Lee

My Least Favorite
Marty Martin

Before I leave you, I must point out something... you see, I have given Adrianna Costa, our host a hard time the last few weeks, and while I still find her obnoxious, this week was the first week in which she didn't actually screw up her lines as far as I could tell. Just wanted to put that out there.

Looks like we agreed more than I thought we would. I could have totally done without the last two 'movies'
