I didn't think tonights movies were as good as last week. I was also disappointed with the eviction. The first movie of the night, Polished, I really liked. I also liked Shira-Lee's but the others sort of left me cold. Kenny and Marty's movies really were not good ... at least they did not entertain me. David's was okay but didn't thrill me much

I didn't care much for Marty's either. Some of the shots were really great, but it was way too much of a good thing. Overkill in style.
I was surprised that the judges didn't mention the bits of dialogue written on the screen. It's hard for an audience to "believe" in a film when parts of the dialogue are on the screen like that for no discernable reason.

Kenny's was awful. I think with a "film" about death it should evict some emotion from the viewers. I felt nothing at all, except confusion and an occasionally thought of 'oh, hey, look, he's taking another swig of drink, got the point there buddy'.

Seems there are a few really good cinematographers in the group, but filmakers? :S

I was thinking that I was really glad that I'm not epileptic during those last two movies... all those flashes were making me dizzy.

I find Kenny and Marty are so pretentious. They're not ready to make Speilberg-sized films... they are far too out there to make things that the general public could enjoy.

I think it's just unfortunate that only one of them will be going home next week.

To be totally honest, Kenny's film was very hard to follow. I never really understood what he was trying to portray. I got it from his opening commentary, but without that I'd have been seeing a bunch of disjointed shots that didn't have any continuity. I don't mind dark stuff but this was absolutely pitch black. I did like the water though.

Marty's had no impact on me at all. At this moment without going back to Dfleminators review I don't even remember what it was about.

The 'slut mom' was okay but a little too much stuff for my taste. I don't care for the frenzie. I believe the boy manipulating his mom into getting him his video game could have been done much better. I'd have been happier with a 'where do babies come from' premise.

I really laughed at Polished but that is the only one that brought out any emotion in me that was good emotion.

I wasn't nuts about Shiralee's film. They were all kind of mediocre for me but I did like "Polished" the best! I didn't think Kenny's was terrible but it was definitly alot different than what others produced. I actually think Marty's was the worst last night. TOTALLY surprised (I have to say a little pleasantly surprised though) that Hillary didn't go last night.

Okay, I want my hour back dflem!! :O That was horrific! The only "original" film was that of Kenny's. I know you guys didn't like it or get it, but it was visually beautiful and very well done!

I think Marty's trying to hard to get his movie seen. He's not going to win this because he's too arrogant and he doesn't play by the rules. Viewers don't like that. He's got skills, but they aren't nearly as brilliant as he thinks they are.

The rest were kind of tired.

Carrie Fisher just keeps getting worse and worse as a judge. I don't think she really liked anything last night. Not that there was really that much to like. I thought Shiralee's was overrated.

I liked how she called out Marty as being his biggest fan. That was exactly what I wanted to say.

Actually after thinking about it again I really think David's film about the stupid cupid thing was the worst, although I still think either Kenny or Marty will be gone next.

And would that be with or without Paula's broken nose?
