For those who don't know I work for a local television station. One of the programs we carry is a local RADIO talkshow. Ashley was a guest on the show this morning and I was very impressed. She was not bitter at all and feels she has a great future ahead. She is currently looking for an agent.

She was asked about the cast of Grease and didn't really want to make a negative comment but did say they still have time to rehearse and get better. She said that Max had always been her choice for Danny, that he is a great person and dedicated to doing a good performance. (Derek was 2nd choice for her, but she'd have been happy for either winning)

She was asked quite a bit about Derek and all she would committ to saying is that 'we will be seeing him soon" so not sure what that means. She never really mentioned Austin at all. Of Laura she said that she is a great person and will do a terriffic job in the role of Sandy.

She also said that she doesn't feel like she lost anything, nor do most of the others. The exposure was a fantastic opportunity for them and she doesn't regret one minute of it.

As I said she was very sweet and most of the people who called in to talk to her were impressed with her ... even if they hadn't voted for her.

Her parting comment was that she was very happy for everyone and that she hopes everyone will go see the Broadway show because they won't be disappointed.

I'm glad she realized that even without winning this audition she was able to showcase her talents unlike any other aspiring Broadway actor! Thanks for the inside info chairo. :D
Those who can't laugh at themselves, leave the job to others.

Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning,
Satan shudders & says... 'Oh, crap...she's awake!!’
