Easin' into summertime... Posts: 3,514 Group: Writer Member #109 Joined: April 25, 2005	Instead of doing a traditional first episode recap, I thought I would share with you my views during the initial episode in Fiji. Why are grown men giving themselves nicknames? Boo, Rocky, Dreamz? Oh my, oh my! It looks like Cirie's little sister has made it to this season of Survivor! Burnett has very effectively put enough paranoia into contestants that he really doesn't need to do anything to provoke it. A twist on teh schoolyard pick game. I have to say that I like how Sylvia did it by weeding out the girls first then the boys. I couldn't help but wonder which team was she hoping to be on. Jeff came out with guns blazing at the first challenge. It's obvious he is not going to wait before pouncing on these castaways. When Jeff told the Sylvia that she was going to an island alone except for a kazillion sea snakes, I burst into tears and wet my pants. During the challenge, why was Lisi on the back of the chariot and one of the smaller girls pulling? Wy on earth would you make people get out of hte boat 100 miles from the shore to the island where all the sea snakes hang out knowing they can swim; hence "sea snake". IDIOTS!! Why haven't they thought to allow the Survivors hang out together for a couple days before they divide the teams. What a nice dynamic it's going to add. Who on earth makes a verbal agreement with two people on day 3? You align with somebody immediately and keep your mouth shut until the numbers are WAY down!! IDIOTS!! Why do contestants think if they tell us at home that they are honorable it makes a difference in the game? Is it just me or does somebody else want to throw a coconut at perky little Michelle? My personal favorite is Edgardo. Foreshadowing Award: Jessica "For some reason I feel safe with Rocky". :rolleyes: Most hard up for camera time: Andre (Dreamz) Most likely to be voted most annoying: Mookie Most likely to have just quit smoking: Rocky Biggest cry baby: Erica (let it go girl!) Jeff is merciless this season at trival council! So I'm off to get some beer and depends for next week's show! Feel free to jot down some favorites of your own or add to the "Most Likely" awards!!

Opinionated Posts: 3,739 Group: Writer Member #317 Joined: August 14, 2005	Where have all the people gone??!! Guess nobody is too interested in any of the new shows yet BUT I liked the new format. It was interesting to see them all together, I would have been totally UPSET if I had helped build the original camp only to be sent away to a barren beach. The snakes on exile island are TOO much. I would have freaked out the minute I saw the first one. From the vote at Tribal it would appear that nobody really made a connection. I can't remember how few votes the loser had to get voted off but it wasn't many. I was beginning to think they were all going to get one vote each. I am curious as to whether the ones on the nice site will get to stay there or if like in Apprentice the winners of the challenges will get the nicest place. Though I'd like the comforts of the one over the other, I'd hate to have to keep packing and moving.

Bit of an exile island in itself!! I am actually thinking of just reading through all the threads to see who wins - this way I will get myself a bit more sleep each week!

There are fireworks early on as predictable as it may be, but I would tape and watch since i thought it was one of the better seasons we've had in a while.
