WELLINGTON, FL

AGE

OCCUPATION
ATTORNEY

Marisa, 28, grew up in Long Island, New York and in Wellington, Florida, where she currently resides. She graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in political science at Florida Atlantic University and then earned her law degree at the University of Baltimore School of Law. Her passion for politics and law led her to two coveted internships, first for a congressman while earning her undergraduate degree, and later as a law clerk for the Attorney General of Maryland in Annapolis while she attended law school. Now Marisa works for one of the most prominent law firms in the country and specializes in securities fraud, consumer fraud and anti-trust litigation. She currently litigates multi-million dollar class action lawsuits on behalf of shareholders and consumers damaged by corporate fraud. In addition, she plays a key role in the firm's investment outreach program, regularly meeting with public and private pension funds, retirement systems and other institutional investors to educate them about the firm's proprietary portfolio monitoring program. Marisa attributes her success to her strong family foundation, and enjoys volunteering for political campaigns and elections in her spare time. She says, "I should be the next Apprentice because my legal and political background have enabled me to take on many challenges and achieve success, and these experiences will allow me to showcase my leadership ability in addition to my strong work ethic."

"Success" can mean different things to different people; what does it mean to you and how will you know when you've achieved it?
Success means always striving to achieve all of the goals that you have set out for yourself - it is not as important to always win - but it is important that you always try to succeed and never give up, regardless of the obstacles that may exist.

Describe the toughest business situation you've had to deal with and what you did to solve the problem.
The toughest business decision that I have had to deal with involved choosing the practice of law after graduation as opposed to immediately focusing on my political aspirations. I had to put my financial interests above my dreams of running for office and establish myself as a successful professional before entering the political arena.

What lessons have you learned from past Apprentice winners or candidates?
Past Apprentice candidates have taught me to always face challenges head on and stand up for those issues that you believe in. Also, I have learned to never compromise your integrity.

Why should you be Donald Trump's next Apprentice?
I should be the next Apprentice because my legal and political backgrounds have enabled me to take on my challenges and achieve success, and these experiences will allow me to showcase my leadership ability in addition to my strong work ethic.

What's your favorite thing about Los Angeles?
My favorite things about Los Angeles are the restaurants and shopping. Both are truly unbelievable in the city.

What's your least favorite thing about Los Angeles? And you're not allowed to say "traffic."
I really do not have a least favorite thing about Los Angeles - the city is amazing.

What will surprise viewers about this sixth season of The Apprentice?
The viewers will be most surprised by the amazing rewards that each team wins during season six.

What's your marital/parental status?
I am single and I have no children. All tall, good-looking professional men please take note.

If you could be the star of any movie ever made, which movie would it be and why?
I would star as Erin Brokovich in the movie "Erin Brokovich" because I adore Julia Roberts and think that her portrayal of Erin Brokovich was extremely compelling. Also, I watched that movie when I was in college preparing to enter law school and the movie truly inspired me to always fight the good fight. It shows that one woman really can make a difference. As a result, I concentrated in toxic tort law while in law school.

What are your three favorite albums of all time?
"Ten" by Pearl Jam
"Remember Two Things" by the Dave Matthews Band
"The Joshua Tree" by U2

What are your three favorite books of all time?
"The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald
"Animal Farm" by George Orwell
"Night" by Elie Wiesel

What hobbies do you enjoy, outside of trying to impress Donald Trump?
Pilates, watching college and NFL football, and traveling.

Never compromise your integrity? On the Apprentice?

Surely she doesn't intend on taking her quote to heart.

The fact that the Great Gatsby is her favorite book irks me, since that book has forever been ruined for me. Also, her come hither look really bothers me. So, I say she's getting kicked out early.
*Insert saying that I think is funny here*

So I assume this means she's not the first one out...
