Erika and Danielle are starting to figure out the power that Will has over Janelle, but Erika hasn’t realized how much power Mike has over her. As HOH, Erika nominated Janelle and George, the self-described 200 pound pawn. Tonight, the houseguests compete for the POV. Will Erika’s nominations stand or will Janelle continue to escape the block once again? After nominations, Janelle is annoyed at Erika and brilliantly deduces that nobody in the house is after Chicken George. In the Diary Room, Erika says that she is targeting people that she feels she cannot beat in the finals while Will is just happy that Chill Town has somehow managed to avoid nomination again. The only person in the house who seems to understand how odd it is that Chill Town isn’t up on the block is Chicken George. So, we know the nominations … let the scheming begin. Janelle starts by going to Erika and telling her that she isn’t angry and that if she stays, she won’t go after Erika next week. She also tells Erika that she’d like to work with her to go after Chill Town. Erika seems to believe it. Outside, Danielle asks Will if he’s lost his mind when he wonders aloud if there would be an advantage to keeping Janelle instead of George. Danielle is starting to get suspicious of Chill Town’s relationships with both Janelle and Erika. In Sunday’s food competition, the house took a day of slop in order to get a trampoline, which arrives to Will’s great excitement. But, back to the scheming … Danielle confirms to Erika that her plan is to take Erika to the final two. Erika makes the same promise (of course) and Danielle believes her. Erika also tells Danielle that she knows that “the boys” are dangerous. Danielle also asks Erika to nominate Will if Janelle comes off the block. Erika is hesitant, but Danielle is determined. She has chosen her target, and it’s the Evil Doctor. Once she finds out that Erika has been working with Chill Town all along, Danielle may be leaving the house but Erika may need a bodyguard. Back to some fun and light banter, the houseguests discuss Will’s favorite actor, Neil Patrick Harris and the best show on television, How I Met Your Mother. Last week the love was for America, but this week it’s Doogie Howser. In a surprise appearance, Neil Patrick is the Secret Santa for Christmas in August. . He comes into the house with gifts and awakes the houseguests. Will thought that he was still dreaming when his hero awoke him. Neil hangs out with the hamsters and even eats some slop. When the time for gifts comes, the actual Santa is of course George. Neil Patrick gives him a suit, complete with beard and glasses and the gifts are distributed. Mostly they get clothes, along with shoes for George, a bra and underwear for Janelle and Nintendo games. Neil Patrick is glad to see Boogie get a new shirt, describes Janelle as radiant and more beautiful in person, describes George as simple, and then jumps on the trampoline a bit before he leaves. In the workout room, George and Will are hanging out and George tells Will a story of being struck by lightning. Will is surprised that George hasn’t shared this story before, but also feels that he now understands a lot more about the Chicken man. Mike Boogie is glad to hear this story because he thinks it means that George won’t win the show. Lightning never strikes twice, he says.Back to the strategy … Will’s master plan is to veto Janelle’s nomination and get Erika to replace Janelle with Danielle. He goes to Janelle with this plan who is of course thrilled. Will then goes to Boogie to get him working on Erika. For his plan to work best, he needs to win the POV so that he can’t be put up in Janelle’s place. In Boogie’s discussion with Erika, which is actually started by Erika, she says that Janelle should go this week and then Woogie needs to win HOH next week, nominating Danielle. The time is perfect for Mike and he immediately cuts to the chase and tells Erika that she should put Danielle up this week. Erika once again tells Mike that if she finds out that he’s playing her, she’ll beat him up, yet she doesn’t realize what’s going on. Up next, the Veto Competition! Since they’re down to the final six, everyone will play. Tonight, though, the houseguests are separated and each plays individually. Mike was up first and he found that the task was “Two Faced,” similar to the facial morphing system that BB has used before. The houseguests have to look at facial features from two competitors, identify the two houseguests, and buzz in. The person who identifies all of the pictures in the shortest amount of time wins. Mike deliberately takes his time, but Erika does all that she can. For the first time in the game, Will tries his hardest to actually win a competition. The boy can actually run! He was quite out of breath at the end, folks. Chicken George walked out and realized immediately that this wasn’t his game. He was really cute as he was trying, though. I think it took him like twenty minutes to get the first one. Janelle goes next, working quickly and appearing to dominate once again. Up last is Danielle, who feels that she doesn’t have to win to save herself, but would like it anyway to possibly mix the game up a bit. The houseguests gather to learn their times: George – 24: 23 Erika – 1:51 Will – 3:19 Janelle – 1:00 Danielle – 1:23 Mike – 7:42 Once again, Janelle has won the POV. When will these people figure out that Janelle needs to be backdoored? Apparently not before it’s too late.. Danielle feels that Erika will stand by the deal they made, which means that Erika would have to nominate Will or Mike Boogie. However, we all know that Will has been working to get Erika to do otherwise. Erika is torn – this decision will force her to make a stand. After the POV competition, Erika asks Janelle who should be put up next. The two of them agree that they’ll talk about it while Woogie does a celebratory dance in the storeroom. Afterwards, Mike and Will tell Erika that she needs to put Danielle up, “encouraging her to be a better player.” Erika is struggling, worried that this isn’t the right time to cut Danielle loose. She asks Mike again if he plans to take her to the final two and once again he doesn’t answer her. Then, Erika talks to Danielle, promising her safety. Finally, the conversation with Janelle takes place and Erika lays out the whole dilemma for Janelle. Erika and Janelle agree that neither of them can beat Danielle in the finals. Once again Janelle promises Erika not to come after her, and Janelle also says that Will sucks and that they won’t have to worry about him in challenges the way that they’ll have to worry about Danielle. Janelle tells Erika that she isn’t currently working with anyone and the two end the conversation as if they’re best friends. Erika talks to Boogie again, admitting to him that it makes her nervous to keep Mike and Will together. She worries that she’s going to end up like Diane, but Mike manages to get her right back on the evict Danielle topic. Seriously, girl! It sounds like you watched Season 5, but did you pay attention? More footage of Erika trying to make her decision, but at least at this point she mentions the fact that whoever she evicts will be on the jury. Danielle and Erika share a teary conversation where Erika basically tells Danielle that she will be going up because Erika can’t beat her at the end. Danielle takes it calmly, but then gets tipsy in the hot tub and tells Chicken George that Erika’s allegiance is to Chill Town and not to believe anything she says. George gets uncomfortable and then Erika claims that she only told Danielle that her being nominating was a possibility. Erika gets defensive with Danielle, saying she was “showing her true colors now” but the conversation soon turns teary, which only stresses Erika out now. Erika goes straight to Will, asking them to do anything but evict Danielle, even suggesting that they evict Chicken George instead. They go to the HOH room, where Danielle goes too, and rings the doorbell incessantly while Will and Erika go and hide in the bathroom. Will takes that opportunity mess with Erika’s mind more, telling her that Danielle has lost her mind and that Erika needs to be a “real gamer.” Will stays in the HOH room all night to insure that Danielle won’t get the last word with the impressionable Erika. At the POV ceremony, Janelle says blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, I’m taking myself off the block. Erika then picks up her knife, aims, and plunges it right into her back. Danielle wore sunglasses to the POV ceremony so that her tears wouldn’t show and she’s stoic in the nominee chair. Erika gives a teary speech about how much she loves and respects Danielle, then walks out. Danielle, understandably, is angry for Erika’s decision to betray her, Erika’s poor strategy, and at herself for trusting Erika. The show ends with another “phone conversation” between Woogie, where Will says, “Remember a few weeks ago when I got my showmance to put up her best friend Marcellas and then we evicted him? Could I get you to do the same thing with your showmance this week?” and the two laugh hysterically. Looks like they’ll be laughing at Erika soon, but first we have the eviction this Thursday – is it really a done deal for Danielle? |

Another great recap jlyl. I hate to tell Booger but lightening does strike twice. My grandfather was struck twice, so it happens. That said, if CG makes it to the end, even second place he's going to be a winner. He's outlasted some of the "best" at the game. I don't think Will had to mess with Erika's mind too much about Danielle. She did a good job of that by leaning on the doorbell. Dani has not been one of my fave's ( I don't dislike her) and I was so embarrassed for her. It was almost as bad as the Booger/Erika showmance scenes. *Ewwww* And who knew Doogie Howser would grow up to be such a cutie!?! Thanks again for the recap!! |
