Well? Posts: 1,439 Group: Admin Member #4 Joined: February 13, 2005	First five: Elliott was amazering. Taylor was pretty darn great. Ace... meh. Bad song choice. Gedeon did great, although he's somewhat of a robot. And Kevin did a surprisingly good job, even though he looks like John Stevens on stage. And that's scary.

Easin' into summertime... Posts: 3,720 Group: Admin Member #109 Joined: April 25, 2005	EWWW!!! Kevin Covais needs to GO HOME!!! He's trilling was frought with nervous bumbling, he can't dance and his I'm cute because I"m clueless routine will end up in death threats if he stays on long after Ace is voted off (ala Scott Savol, Anthony Federov, John Stevens fame). It's all cute until somebody loses to them. He needs to take his bad haircut and GO HOME!!! I misse Taylor and Elliot!!!

Deleted User	I 100% agree on the Kevin Covais thing FG. My husband and I watched about 20 minutes of the show last night and during that 20 minutes he sang. I even closed my eyes to objectively listen because I find his appearance distracting. My husband's comment pretty much sums up my feelings..."is he riding on a bumpy road while he is singing?" I predicted early on he'd be this season's John Stevens...sigh.

Sway With Me Posts: 571 Group: Admin Member #3 Joined: February 13, 2005	I really hope it doesn't come down to that but I think you guys are right about Kevin. I don't get the producers, though. I guess whatever gets the people talking works and there's no such thing as bad controversy in AI land. I'm enjoying his performances now, but in the top 12 I have no idea if it would work. Elliott, Gedeon, Chris and sometimes Ace are great. Ace got the title of his song wrong though, and that bugged me.
	How ya gonna fix it?

I think he called it "If I'm Not Made For You" and it's actually "If You're Not the One." Maybe I'm imagining things, too, but I'm pretty sure.
