LOL...Urban. Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. It is a mouth full huh?!?

Back again my friends. Just had some medical test myself JB. Boy, getting old sucks sometimes. :) I just had a cortisone shot in the heel of my left foot. Man, did it ever bite. But thankfully I am currently walking without a limp for the first time in months.

So, my baby is turning seven in a few days. We are having a Pirate sleepover movie marathon with a treasure hunt followed by a food fight. I know the kiddies are going to have fun. Thankfully it will only be four or five wild little boys, but you all know that I'm going to join into the throwing of food. And no, before any of you go accusin'... the pirate party wasn't my idea, however I will enjoy every minute of watching Jack Sparrow on HD. ;)

Urban, maybe they'll call her Sunny or something? :giggle:

Glad you're walking limp-free! I agree about getting old... I'm waiting for an appointment with a rheumatologist to get me something for my arthritis... some days are better than others.

The party sounds like a lot of fun! Make sure you don't get any onion in your eye!

Everyone excited for the big BB cast reveal today???

I can sympathize JB ... I have been going through test after test for 3 months now and they can't find out what is causing the problem. Have a new doc who SEEMS to be finding things in test results nobody else had noticed. We'll see. I see him next Tuesday for my most recent test results. It gets frustrating when you know there is something wrong, have loads of pain, but nothing seems to be malfunctioning. Hope your luck is better than mine

Good luck Chairo on your testing. Hopefully things will work out soon! My anxiety is because I know I already have fibroids and it is getting worse and also because my father and sister had a specific type of cancer and I'm being tested next month...

Jeeze, ART people are falling apart! My foot surgery went very well, but now I am having elbow surgery at the end of summer. I have no idea how this will affect my typing since the surgery is to the nerve (I have ulnar nerve entrapment) and it's my left elbow and I'm a lefty. :D

I will just say one big healing prayer for my ART family.

How bad do I want an invite to that pirate party!! I've never seen Pirates of the Carribean.

sooo uh
I have my G2 test next wednesday.
I havent driven in weeks, I have no idea how to do a 3 point turn and i havent backed into a parking spot in probably ooohhhhh 4 months.. oh and I dont have a car to use for the test! Hahaha why did i book it you might ask? Because Ive already had my G1 for 2.5 years, and im moving to Ottawa on the 31st for school. If I dont get my G2 this summer, and mg G next summer, then Im pretty much screwed as my 5 years will be about up before it expires

WHo wants to drive to me and let me use their car :)

So is everyone watching the Olympics? I actually got to sit down and watch a mens hockey match the other day. My little man (19 mths) is learngin to say "GO AUSSIE" and jumps when he thinks there is a goal scored. He has watched the swimmiing with interest, but is besotted with the Equestrian and says "Orse" to anyone that listens.

Little miss 5 is loving the swimming (as she goes to lessons) and says that they are "swimming just like I do!" Then she asks, so innocently, "Mummy, do you think their swim teacher is happy with them for using their breathing and bubble arms right?" :) Just love what the kids have to say!

Talk soon

Yay for passing the test!

I'm hooked on the Olympics UG! I'm cheering on the Canadians though! We had a rough first week, but have really picked it up this week... of course, nowhere near Australia or US in the medal count, but still!

Hi all, popping in for a second. Hope everyone isn't in pain anymore and all your tests went well. We are in the first week of B2S for my kiddos so it is quiet here during the day. Hope you are having a great week!!!!

18 medals dld... not 14. It was our second best showing at a Summer Olympics ever (other than the LA Olympics which didn't include the Eastern Bloc Nations)

The Aussie did great - how was that Women's 4x400 in the pool???? What an awesome gold medal that was! I was a little sad at the Men's hockey result, but you win some and you lose some.

Now I am watching the Paralympics.......truly inspiring. Watch a young Australian girl that was brain damaged at birth yesterday. SHe wanted to be a swimmer, but did (in her words) "not very good". So when watching the 2004 Paralympics decided that she wanted to be a cyclist. This is all good, expcept that she was only 14 and only gotten rid of her training wheels off her back 3 years earlier. She was determined, fell off a lot, got back on and is now 19 and rode her heart to a Bronze medal yesterday. SUPERB!!!! Makes me feel all warm and nice after watching that one.

Have a super day everyone.......Spring is here and Summer is just around the corner.

Hey everyone, just thought I would pop in and say hello.
University is going great, I really love it here, although I might have to drop out of my religion class :S
I've joined a club since ive been here, called the Navigators, which is essentially a christain club and I volunteer every tuesday with kids coming from a poverty ridden neighbourhood, its called the Run and Read program. Its really great.
Sounds like my roommmate is out of the bathroom (been waiting for 45 minutes) so im going to run in there before anyone else does.

Glad you are enjoying school dld! I'll give you the advice my Mother gave me..."have fun now because it's the best time of your life--more or less responsibility free!" I thought she was nuts then, but now...well it was probably true! Enjoy!
