Last week was a recap show and I figured it would be redundant to do a recap of a recap, thus, there was no recap.  Two weeks ago, Kyle was sent packing back to Dairy Queen and Kim is quite upset about the situation. She had really become attached to Kyle and just doesn't know how she is going to be able to continue on without her. What's that I hear ? Oh yes, it's time for .. Tyyyyyyyyra Maaaaaail !! Tyra Mail Have you ever thought what it would be like to be a Diva ? Be ready at 11 a.m. Suddenly Nik says .. "Eva and Diva .. omg we are going to meet Eva !!" How she figured that out , I have no idea.  They arrive at the Poodle Parlor where they meet with Marie and Samara. They are doing a photo shoot with Eva, former winner of ANTM. Eva talks to them about how they need to learn to get along with people, because when you become a top model, you have an entourage of people that work with you. After their meeting with Eva, most of the girls lounge around, but Lisa takes advantage of the situation by shmoozing with Eva's entourage. This doesn't sit well with the rest of the girls. Back at the house , Lisa decides there is too much tension among the girls and so she decides to pour herself some wine and .. dress up. She comes out looking like some sort of top model on crack/heroin/steroids .. you name it. She has these big huge fake teeth in and all this red makeup on her face and a big wig and sunglasses. This is rather hard to explain, but imagine trying to talk while you are drunk and have huge fake plastic teeth in your mouth. She has on a shirt that says "ENVY" on it and she says to the girls .. " sheeeee rut thishhh shirt shezzz ? thashhh thuh problum aroun heeere !!" In a private interview, still donned in full regalia including teeth , she says " every bahhhdeessh taking themshelves wayyyyy too sherioush .. every bahhdee jushh needsh ta calm down !! eat a COOKIE !! "  Of the girls interviewed, they all seem to agree that they feel Lisa has lost her mind and Kim says that most of the girls are kinda scared of her. Yes, it's once again time for .. Tyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyra Maaaaaaail !! Tyra Mail Have you ever fantasized about being the head bitch in charge ? Be ready at 1:30 p.m. The girls are whisked off to a studio in L.A. where they meet with BJ Gillian , a Cover Girl make-up pro. He explains to them that they are going to be able to direct their own entourage of hair, makeup and wardrobe teams. They will also make a collage that should reflect who they are and what is unique about them, and at the end of this, they will present themselves and their collage at a *go see* with a very famous manager. They have one hour. Basically, this whole segment is just a giant commercial for Cover Girl products except for the wardrobe portion. Most of the girls work well with the entourage they pick, however, Lisa feels that she would rather wear her OWN clothes and has a bit of a riff with her wardrobe person.  When they are finished, they pack themselves into the limo with their collages and are taken to Handprint Entertainment, where they meet Jean Kwolek. She tells them that she works with Benny Medina , Manager of Handprint Entertainment, and each girl will meet with her and Benny individually. The girl that demonstrates the most *star power* will land a guest role on this week's episode of Veronica Mars. The Meeting Nik : gets totally flustered during her interview. Benny states that she had been really beautiful but he didn't feel that he wanted to listen to what she had to say. Nicole : gets stumped by several of Benny's questions to her. Bre : admits to Benny that she's very nervous after she clams up and forgets what she wants to say. Benny says she is a very hungry and passionate girl. Jayla : practically puts Jean and Benny to sleep as she talks on and on .. and on and on .. and on and on .. about her collage.  Kim : Made a very concise presentation and seemed quite confident. Benny feels that she had angst and passion. Lisa : comes in flailing her arms and bugging her eyes out and talking to the point of almost yelling. She ends by bursting into tears. I think it's her way of showing what a good actress she can be ??  Benny feels that the crying episode was rather .. weird.  The decision is announced and the winner is .. KIM !! After Kim returns to the house from taping her Veronica Mars segment, Lisa goes on and on about how she is happy for her and that she felt like Kim deserved to win *one* contest. In a private interview, Kim says " ummmm everyone can see through that you jealous .. idiot".  Time for Tyrrrrrra Maaaaaaaail !! Tyra Mail Don't let your fears of the wild , keep you from looking fierce. The girls are brought to a beautiful house in the Hollywood Hills and they meet with Jay. He tells them that they are going to be doing a photo shoot where they are just going to cut loose and have FUN !! It's what they call "High Fashion Mad". Nadia will be the photographer. After hair and makeup, they meet back with Jay and he tells them that in the shoot he wants them to be MAD. Then he introduces them to the people that will be in the photo shoot with them. The MTV Wildboyz (they used to be on the show Jackass if you don't know). Wee Man (a midget) , Chris Pontius, and Steve-O. In the photo shoot, the premise is that the girls are trying to get ready to go out and the Wildboyz have ahold of their makeup kit. It's really kind of hard to explain it, but let's just say that the girls are supposed to interact with them and act mad and be screaming. I think whoever devised this particular shoot , was under the influence of .. something.  Photo Shoot Lisa : spanking them and whipping them and making ugly faces. Bre : instructed to keep screaming .. which she does .. a million times, while Steve-O is throwing panties in her face.  Nicole : supposed to be pissed off because she has caught her boyfriend in bed with Kim. She's supposed to be acting MAD, but she keeps making her *fake model smile*. ho hummm Jayla : because there is a dog in this shoot, she has to *pretend* to scream. She continues to do the same exact pose about 50 times. Nik : screaming while the *boyz* are jumping up and down behind her in dresses. Everyone is laughing and she doesn't know why until the end of the shoot when she asks "why was everyone laughing ??" and Bre says .. " penis .. a whole lot of it".  Kim : instructed not to analyze it .. just to get into it. She screams and screams and says she almost passed out. After the shoot, Steve-O is flirting with Nicole, and not about to be outdone, Lisa comes walking in with a pair of .. DEPENDS (adult diapers) on. To get even MORE attention .. she decides to URINATE in the diaper. Ok Lisa, I think you have gone TOO far THIS time. Maybe she can get a job with the Wildboyz, who are the only ones that seem to find it humorous.  Back at the house .. a bored shout out from Kim for .. Tyyyyra Maaaaail Tyra Mail Tomorrow you'll meet with the judges .. blah blah blah .. we all know the drill by now right ? The girls meet with the panel and Tyra introduces the judges and the guest judge Nadia. Before evaluations, the girls have to pose with three separate products. Toothpaste, Sunglassess and Chocolate. None of them really seem to do very well except for Bre who did a rather X-Rated performance with the chocolate. On a personal note here, the toothpaste portion reminded me of something. I think Jayla may have gotten her teeth whitened some time in the last couple of weeks. I always noticed she didn't have the *chicklet white teeth* that everyone else has, but this week she DID !! Evaluations on Product Endorsement and Photo Shoot Jayla : Twiggy : you seemed embarrassed with the chocolate commercial Tyra : you look like a BLOW UP DOLL !! and .. hahahahah .. she DID. Tyra's imitation was hysterical. Nik : Nadia : it didn't seem like you connected with the product at all. *Miss J* : your photo is quite intense Tyra : you had lots of different screams and the face was always pretty. Kim : Tyra : I thought it was a nice stall , passing out the candy. You gave up and laughed it off. Twiggy : ohhhhh that's a great photo. Nigel : for me, this is the most attractive I have ever seen you look !! *Miss* J : you felt like *one of the boys*, so you fit right in. Lisa : Tyra : when you leaped during the product endorsement , at first I thought you were crazy, but if there had been a still shot of that , it would have been wonderful. Twiggy : I LOVE your leap. *Miss* J : (on the photo shoot) WHOOOOO chaaaaa .. the neck is gone. Twiggy : you've gone for the moment and gone too far. Bre : Tyra : I loved your commercial. There was not one awkward pause. Twiggy : don't be ashamed to be yourself Nigel : I think this is one of your better photographs Nicole : Nigel : you started weak , your poses were safe. Nadia : I felt like you were holding yourself back and that you were embarrassed. Deliberations Nik : the judges think she is finally beginning to show her personality Lisa : everyone thinks she has a very strong personality. Nadia says she has a great face but doesn't think she could ever make it to the top level. Jayla : Nigel thinks she is looking really tired and Nadia says she is boring. Twiggy said she loves the way she looks Bre : the judges agree that Bre needs to be .. BRE !! And not try to be someone else. Kim : Twiggy thinks she looks "really girlie in her little pink frock". Nigel says she is finally taking good pictures. Nicole : Nadia says she is self conscious and Nigel says she doesn't believe in herself. Elimination Tyra calls out the names of the girls who are safe. Bre Kim Nik Lisa The final two girls are Nicole and Jayla. Woohoo, finally someone will get kicked off that I WANT to get kicked off.  Tyra tells them that in the beginning they were both in the TOP of the pack, and now they are at the bottom. She then says that the judge's were SO disappointed in them , that tonight .. they must BOTH pack their bags !! OMG !! They are BOTH getting kicked off !! WOOHOOOO this is GREAT !!  The other four girls seem in shock and begin crying, as do Nicole and Jayla. But wait .. Tyra isn't finished !! She finishes the statement of " you must BOTH pack your bags .. " by saying .. " BECAUSE WE ARE ALL GOING TO LONDON !!!! NOBODY'S GOING HOME !!!!" Ok, everyone is celebrating, but .. I'M MAD !!  I wanted BOTH of them gone. Oh well. Next week, the girl's will prepare for their visit to the homeland of their biggest fan .. Fanatic !! What will be in store for them ? And will Kim's gossipping get her in trouble with the rest of the girls ?? Will she join the ranks of the outcasts with Lisa ?The competition is getting fierce. It's every girl for herself. Catfights are inevitable. You won't want to miss it .. next time .. on AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL !!

yeah, what was that about--two people suck (and suck Nicole and Jayla do, thank you very much), but that means nobody gets kicked off and we all go to London??? Lasst season two people got kicked off in one session. Also, has anyone else noticed that Lisa seems kind of Teflon with the judges? all the weird, obnoxious stuff she does, they still seem to find some good in it. Like when she was leaping around like an idiot and almost broke Tyra's sunglasses. But instead of saying, stop leaping around like an idiot, it's oh, that would have made such a great photo. |

Something is definitely wrong with that girl! Peeing in a diaper....grose...why would she do that? Only for one thing right? The attention???? I hope that's the only reason she did it. I do agree that Jayla and Nicole's pics weren't the best, but I've always liked Jayla and Nicole, so I'm particularly glad this was a non elimination week. They do need to step up their game in London though! Why do all of the judges like Lisa? Is it because they don't see how she acts in the house? I think they need to put some cameras in there and watch how she acts in the house...Sorry guys, I'm still a Lisa hater!!! |

Another great recap Becki! You make this a lot more entertaining than the actual show. Adrianne Curry acted like a complete jackass during her cycle and was heralded for it, but Lisa can't? The only person I thought should have gone home last night was Bre. Say what you will about Lisa but she's definitely thinking Top Model when she's in front of the judges. She also takes criticism very well and utlizes it. |

Great job, Becki! Thanks for the re-cap! girlchefj, She has taken some good pictures, but the one this week was darn ugly. But she her past is holding her up. She knows her stuff and takes great pictures. Still, there are times I wonder whether they keep her around just for the drama. Lisa, peeing in a depends in front of complete strangers, on national tv. Isn't wild. It's just stupid. But overall, it's about images and Lisa's good at making a good one. I'm glad Bre escaped bottom two. The commercials were pathetic, but she was one of the few to seem to take it half-way seriously... it was over- the- top, but better than most. Best pic of Kim yet. But Nik is still my favourite. |

girlchefj i agreed pretty much with your whole comment
 kira_butterfly the judges (and Tyra) MUST watch the goings on in the house .. i guess they are just choosing to ignore odd behavior. I'm all for having a good time , but sometimes she goes too far (diaper peeing incident). funnygirl thx for the compliment .. as for Lisa, she was an early favorite of mine but now, she's kind of going overboard, don't you think ? Once she got the makeover, she changed the *Lisa* that I originally liked. I really don't think that the judges would want someone representing Cover Girl , etc. to be remembered for peeing in a diaper lol .. and yah, Adrienne had fun and drank but she never crossed the line (in my humble opinion) :shifty toque nice to see you in here i thought Kim finally got a good picture in. I'm starting to want her to win .. only because she is really different. And also because most of my favorites have already been booted I just don't want anyone to win that is a *cookie cutter* version of every other face you see in magazines , and that's what Jayla and Nicole make me think of.

Ok about Lisa, everything Bre said she's right. I was shocked and atonshed of wha Lisa did. She had grown on me but now after this, my perspective on her has changed. I even felt emarressed that she did this, i mean she's done a lot of crazy things but this is just way too much. A woman to respresnt america's next top model would never do this, it is so so not lady like. There are tons of way to get attention but why this lisa why? I really feel that she has ruined any chance that she had in becoming america's next top model, what saddens me is that she does really well, but this I belive has ruined her chance. She must be crazy, and she must have been drunk or something. |

Kim's face looked great, but her body didn't look like it was attached right. It's very weird. I guess it's a perspective sort of thing, but I don't like it. I felt rather bad for Nicole when the non-elimination happened. She was so confused! It was rather unclear whether they were eliminated or not for a moment there. The Lisa peeing thing really was just sad too. She couldn't stand for Nicole to be the center of attention, so she went that far. She's going to self destruct in a huge way. |

Ya know, I was really impressed that Lisa had the smarts to take advantage of "networking" Eva's entourage. But what happened at that next photo shoot to make any smarts I thought she had totally fly out the window? Is she packin' nip bottles in her handbag or what? If, and I say IF, she wins this, she will forever be the crazy chick who peed in a diaper. Does CoverGirl really want that? My guess is no (thank goodness). Kim's doing better, tho! She's still my favorite! Oh, and thanks for the awsome re-cap Becki - much appreciated, as always! |

Great recap Becki. If I'd known they were filming here I would've gone looking for them!I thought Lisa was really smart to network, they don't get many opportunities to meet people in the industry so that was wise of her not to just sit around and yawn like the others. However, her behavior during the shoot was disgusting. At her age, she shouldn't be trying toilet jokes and she's never gonna live that down! |
