After an endless black and white recap of this week's happenings in the Big Brother house we get to see a touching moment between Michael and Eric making amends. Eric apologizes to Michael for the millionth time and Michael needs to remind him that "he's cool". Michael tells Eric he needs to thnik he has more friends than enimies in the house and Eric assures him with an "absolutely". I don't care what anybody says, estrogen aint got nothing on testosterone man. Next we see Eric telling Rachel he doesn't think that Michael is as bas as everybody is making him out to be. Rachel agrees that Michael got a raw deal. The two biggest instigators in the "raw deal" are saying this. Eric also tells Rachel and Maggie that as HOH he's stuck his neck way out there. James is talking to Jenn and Sarah in the pool discussing Michael and Janelle. Janelle looks on from the patio. James is telling the girls that Mike is dangerous for the sanity of the house and Janelle is dangerous for the strategy. Janelle tells us she "thinks" people are gossiping about her. She's a sharp cookie, you can't get anything past her. Janelle goes to Howie to see what information she can get as far as what the others are saying about her. All Howie gives up is they think she's smart. He also reminds her of the "surfboard promise". She wonders if that promise is still in tact (and so do I). Now we have to endure more stupid questions asked by Ms. Chen. Ready? Jennifer, how was the chocolate snake? Duh! James, you won the veto comp., but only 13 seconds were you scared? (Are you kidding me with this stuff? Kasyar, it was a tense week, how has the house changed? this is actually a good questions and she actually asked the best person. Kaysar tells her the houseguests have grown and learned to appreciate things more. I don't remember what Julie asked Ivette, but Ivette tells her she's trying to keep her mouth shut from here on out. At this point a very loud noise came over my neighborhood. It sounded like they were holding a rodeo outside from all the whooping. I guess people are happy Yvette's going to shut up Voting Confessions Howie: MIke made a lot of enemies fast in this game. I would be really sad to see Janelle go. Sarah: Mike's not smart and not a threat. Janelle staying and winning HOH would allow her to nominate people Sarah herself couldn't. She's happy to let Janelle do all her dirty work. James: Mike is no threat. Janelle is a huge threat because she's a better liar. We come back and Julie is going to interview our current HOH, Eric. She asks him what it was he heard that made you so upset with Michael? Eric never really answers this question but tells Julie that somebody came back and told him about Mike making disparaging remarks about his family. Something about his mom and dad and how Eric must have been abandoned as a kid. Julie throws out "second hand information". Eric comes back with the rationale that because it was about his family and because his family means so much to him he was justified. They both agree the situation was blown out of proportion. DUH! Julie then asks Eric why he broke his alliance with Michael. Eric responds with some garbage about Michael's attitude and behavior and intimidation tactics throughout the week. this guy is really believing the crap he's saying too! Julie finishes up with "how did Michael break his trust with you?" Eric: He was hanging out with Janelle too mcuh and he measures people by the company he keeps. This is where I get confused and start calling my TV a liar and a DORK! Last week Michael was paying too much attention to Jennifer and told he was getting too close and this week Jennifer's one of Cappy's sheep and Michael is hanging out with Janelle and she's...aw, forget it! It's not worth it. Voting Confessions Jennifer: I'm not a lesbian, but Janelle is pretty to look at and I have no good reason to keep Michael in the house. April: Mike is a pain in my butt. Janelle is a pretty girl and she knows it. (This last piece was said with oodles of hidden jealousy!) Beau: I like Janelle and hope she stays. We talk about girl things like plucking eyebrows, waxing, etc. I think Michael is just misunderstood. He's European and folks just don't get him. Yvette: Janelle is a typical South Beach girl who thought her good looks were going to get her through the game (as opposed to an overactive, under-educated mouth?). Michael is uncomfortable to be around. BB5 COUPLES - WHERE ARE THEY NOW? We get a brief glimpse of our four "favorite" couples to see what's happened to them since the show aired. I personally don't care, but I was told that some of you might. ![]() Jase/Holly: Broke up after 10 months. Holly couldn't take anymore country music. She replaced him with a dog from the "I want to be Paris Hilton" collection. We see a calmer Jase strumming a guitar and singing and then riding a motorcycle. He's moved back to DeCatur and is a country boy. Drew/Diane: They broke up when Drew kicked Diane out of the house instead of Cowboy. They live blocks from each other in LA and are still good friends. I would believe this if the bitterness wasn't still oozing from every pore of Diane's body. Talk about Drew's year with an acting coach and his small gig on B&B. Nakomis/Michael (aka Cowboy): It's clear that Nakomis could care less about this kid. She didn't even attend his wedding for crying out loud. Scott and Drew were there, but not his new-found half sister. Nakomis is sporting a lime green mullet these days and this is the first time she's seen Cowboy since they left the hosue. Cowboy said marriage life is great. Thank God he didn's say "Julie" that drove me up a wall last season. Adria/Natalie: Revamped their website and wrote a book. We get last year's contestants' opinion on this year's twist. They all think it's nice to have somebody you know to endure the rigors of the house, but admit that it's going to be really hard to pull it off. Voting Confessions Kaysar: Michael never got a chance to to show how good he really is. He has to back away from the cameras because he's going to cry. Rachel: Michael is a nice guy (whose integrity I had no problem calling to question with my antics of the last week) and Janelle is not done yet. Maggie: Michael has to leave for Eric's safety. What? Before Julie reads the results of the vote, we get to hear both people speak about what a great time they had in the house, thanked their fellow housemates for the time they spent, yadda, yadda, yadda! Vote of 9-1 Michael is OUT! Typical hugs and kisses all around and he's off to his exit interview with Julie. The interview is boring and nothing compelling is said. She tells him about the pairs secret, but he alreday knows. She tells him about the pairs prize pay-out and he's unimpressed. I wish she would realize that once you are no longer in the running for the prize whether you know about it ahead of time or not, it really doesn't matter. Especially at this juncture of the game. Julie needs to hire new writers! Goodbye video from Kaysar telling Michael he's sorry nobody got to know the real Michael and he will avenge the eviction now that Michael is gone. HOH COMPETITION 11 houseguests eligible for HOH are lined up again like last week. They will be asked a series of either/or questions and need to decide red or blue. The majority rules in this game. They are not supposed to think for themselves but go with majority. The bleeting of the sheep gets louder in anticipation of bringing home a win for Cappy who is ineligible to compete in this one. I will not go over the questions, but give you the order of elimination and any decisions I thought were funny or telling. The majority of the house thought James is more intelligent than Eric. (Probably because he wouldn't EVER let anybody call him "Cappy"!). The majority would also rather have Janelle watch their children over Howie. 1. Beau 2. Howie 3. Ivette (for somebody who's opinionated she sure sucks at these games) 4. April 5. Rachel 6. Sarah 7. Jennifer The remaining four players (Kaysar, Janelle, James and Maggie) have a tie-breaking question to answer. Who ever is closer without going over wins. Pan to Eric who looks quite pleased that his two biggest sheep are out there competing on his behalf. He leans forward waiting for Julie to read the question. Julie: "How many total coconuts were used in the first reward challenge?" Maggie: 97 Kaysar: 100 Janelle: 36 (that is not a typo folks!) James: 95 (I think...it was a little blurry) Total: 188 KAYSAR WINS HOH! Pan to Eric handing Kaysar HOH key, shakes his hand and runs for the house looking a little green around the gills! During credits we hear Howie promising Kaysar "no boobie talk this week...they are all my sisters". If you really want to hear about the two minute montage of the Janelle & Michael slurpfest, feel free to PM me for the details. I really didn't want to waste any time or ink on it. :shifty |
