ART Fixture Posts: 374 Group: Writer Member #28 Joined: March 9, 2005	This Big Brother episode begins with the memory of Rachel nominating Kaysar and Ashlea for eviction. Ashlea reminisces about it, by saying that she had felt like she was going to get sick and that she just wanted to cry .. which is exactly what she had done. She said she felt tension between her and Rachel right from the beginning and that they were a threat to each other. Kaysar said he felt that if he was just nice to everyone, it would keep him from being nominated , but .. "it didn't work out that way". Eric tells Kaysar that he is safe. In a private interview, Eric states that he has made a pact with Mike, James and Kaysar to get them to the final four. Kaysar comes into Rachel's room and tells her that he hass no hard feelings towards her. Ashlea continues to cry. Possibly trying to get some sympathy votes. Later that day, Kaysar and Beau talk and Beau assures Kaysar that he wants him to stay in the house. Beau feels that he can relate to him on an intellectual level. Kaysar says that he wanted to come into the house and be real. He says , "that's who I am , just a normal, nice guy". Beau tells him that maybe people feel that he is an introvert and that he should try to "put himself out there more". Switch to .... Howie. He's standing outside flexing his muscles and .... kissing his arms ?? Howie decides he needs to take off his shorts and roam around in his .. underpants, because he doesn't like tan lines. Howie asks Beau if he feels that there is anyone else in the house that is lesbonic or gay. He also lets the group know that he doesn't use condiments and that he likes his food with nothing on it and his women with nothing on them". There are a few more Howie-isms. It is obvious that Howie thinks he is something else .. and he IS !! Not sure what though. Howie then decides to put on Ashlea's bra and some makeup and strut around the house. After our time with Howie, we switch to Rachel in the HOH room. She notices a remote control on her bed and when she turns it on , the picture on the wall became a tv screen where she can change channels and see different rooms in the house. Suddenly, she sees a room in the house that she had never seen before. The camera keeps zooming in on the books, so she thinks of the books in HER room and "puts two and two together". She looks in the books and finds a clue .. a clue to the secret room. It says she can keep it to herself or share what she has found out with the rest of the house. Her decision ?? To keep it to herself because she feels it would cause mass hysteria in the house if she were to tell everyone. I have a feeling that's not QUITE the reason she decided to keep it to herself. She's making some pretty strange faces of shock and awe.:oooo The clue tells her that without a sense of direction, she can't complete her first quest. She then begins to go on her scavenger hunt to find something that would pertain to direction. Meanwhile that evening, Eric begins telling the group about his life as a fireman. Most of the castmembers listen with a look of a bit of bordom on their faces. Eric then gets a bit emotional, talking about the brotherhood. It seems to make the group feel a bit more empathetic to him. Ivette , in a personal interview, states that she feels a connection* with him and later on, she climbs into the hammock with him. In a private interview, Eric says that Michael, himself , Kaysar and James had an alliance to make it to the final four. He now says that he has yet another alliance with Ivette, and that she is looking to bring herself and Eric to the final two. In the hammock, Ivette tells Eric that she is working her way into Beau, but Eric says he doesn't trust him. She then goes on to tell him the order in which she would like to see the girls be evicted. Ashlea, Janelle, Jennifer, Maggie. Personally, I have no idea why she seems to think she has such a tight alliance with the guys, but .. Back to Rachel trying to figure out her quest. As she paces around the house, suddenly she spots .. a COMPASS .. in the living room but there are too many people around for her to pick it up. When the group goes outside she picks it up and she sees a message on the back .. she had to put it up to the mirror to read it because everything was written backwards. She follows the directions and walks into a room where no one is in there except Sarah , who is sleeping. As Rachel messes with the wall, she notices that part of it is moving. She climbs through the wall and .. VOILA !! THE SECRET ROOM !!!! She describes it as looking like Donald Trump's bedroom or .. money room .. ummmmmm, nah I doubt that very much !! Rachel meanders around the room and sees a large gold key with a smaller key attached to it. There are 3 safes in the room, but she can't get them to open. She notices a little peep door that she can peek through to see if anyone is watching. As she starts to open the main secret door, Kaysar walks in the room where Sarah is sleeping and wakes her up to talk to her. Rachel quickly closes the door but it creaks and Kaysar hears it but quickly dismisses it as nothing. Once Kaysar and Sarah leave the room, Rachel makes her escape. Sarah must be a pretty sound sleeper !!!! Rachel takes the key and goes outside and sits on top of the hot tub and secretly tries the lock. She gets everyone's attention by saying she thinks she has found a magic key to the hot tub. Oooohs and Ahhhhhhs abound as they open up the hot tub and all get in. Howie feels that a hot tub has a more seductive , inducing environment for the chicks to make their move on me.. ugh Rachel goes on and on telling the group how she found the room and the key , etc. Seeing that Rachel has decided she is the big leader of the house now, she instructs everyone to sit down and says that they should do some sort of game so that everyone can take turns using the room. They use a lazy susan to make the choice of who would use the room first and it turns out to be Kaysar and Ivette. They all rush to the room and emit more ooooohs and ahhhhhs. Rachel lets it out that she could have told everyone about it before she found it , and it makes Eric and Maggie really suspicious of her. :suspicious: Rachel now calls a meeting in the living room to introduce The Golden Power of Veto Competition. She now explains that the person who wins the Veto can take someone off the chopping block if they wish to, in which case, the HOH would have to nominate another person. Six people will play for the Veto. The HOH, the two nominees, and those three will pick someone to be their partner. There is a twist though. This year, there may be competitions where no one might win the veto. That evening, as snores abound throughout the house, Kaysar does his prayers. Those are some serious snores too !! In the morning, April mentions how Ashlea really didn't warm up to anyone in the house and she discusses it with her. Ashlea decides she needs to talk to Howie about playing the competition with her. She figures maybe she can get him on her side, and either win the veto or throw the competition so at least she has a better chance at winning the veto herself. Once again, Queen Rachel summons everyone to the living room. It's time for the Veto Competition and time to choose your partners. Rachel picks first and chooses Maggie. Kaysar chooses Eric Ashlea chooses Howie. Rachel chooses Ivette as the host. Once outside, they find three jungle gyms with ropes entangled in a sort of maze. The partners have to climb through the maze with the ropes locked to their belts and untangle themselves and get through the maze to unlock a veto medallion and set the veto medallion on the post. (ok I know that sounded confusing, but it's the best I can do to describe it) The game begins !! As the rest of the group looks on and gives different people encouragement, the couples attempt to get themselves through the maze. Rachel felt that her and Maggie had a slight edge on everyone. Maggie says that her and Rachel had decided that if they got through first, Rachel would unlock the Veto Medallion no matter which one of them got through first. And the winner is .. RACHEL !! Big Surprise huh ?? Rachel's head has now become quite enormous , knowing that she has won the first HOH, has found the secret room , AND, has won the first GOLDEN POWER OF VETO !! Is anyone sick of hearing about Rachel yet ? Well, here comes more. As she enters her HOH room, she finds Jennifer in there. Rachel immediately goes outside to the rest of the group and tells them that she feels violated. She explains what Jennifer had done. She then says, "power of veto ?? give it to Ashlea and I will put Jennifer up". She says that on the first nominations, there is really no reason to put anyone up because you don't know them yet .. but snooping ?? that's a reason. She then goes to Ivette and tells her of her idea, but Ivette doesn't like the idea because she doesn't feel that Jennifer is a threat to anyone. After looking at the photo wall, Rachel once again calls everyone in to the living room for the Veto Ceremony. She tells Kaysar and Ashlea that both of them have one final chance to tell her why she should save them. Ashlea and Kaysar both tell Rachel that they understood it was a tough choice for her, and that they both respect her decision. Rachel decides to let the nominations stand as they are and to not use the power of veto. And as this episode ends, we are left wondering, who will be the first person evicted from the Big Brother house ? Will it be Kaysar or Ashlea ? Who will be the next HOH ? And !! We will finally find out the identities of the secret pairs. All of this .. LIVE on Thursday night !! Be there, or be square !!
