ART Fixture Posts: 374 Group: Writer Member #28 Joined: March 9, 2005	As we return to the Island, we now know the final seven castaways. The Skipper : Crazy Charlie Gilligan : Shawn MaryAnn : Randi Ginger : Erika Professor : Tiy-E Millionaire : Jim Bounce Ms. Millionaire : Melissa Side Note : not sure why they don't call the millionaire's Mr. and Mrs. Howell like the original show. Not that it matters, but I just thought I would throw it out there. Anyhoo, onto the show !! We start off by watching MaryAnn Randi taking her shower while Gilligan and the Prof give her a hard time. She's aware that the two of them have formed their little alliance. In fact, even though there are no more teams, team orange has the most survivors and so they feel that they should all stick together and knock off the others. The orange survivors are Gilligan, Millionaire Jim, Prof Tiy-E and MaryAnn. Later on, and without MaryAnn, the other three get together and decide a strategy. They feel that the first person to get booted should be .. The Skipper. In a private interview, Millionaire Jim says that it is in his best interest to stay aligned with the orange team and after that , to align himself with MaryAnn because he is sure he would be able to beat her in anything. (my personal thought : it's a little too early to be making the assumption that he and Mary Ann will be the final two , since we haven't even had a competition yet) While Ginger and MaryAnn are alone, they both tend to agree that it might be best for the girls to stick together since it seems quite apparant that the guys have a pretty tight alliance. We now have the pleasure of watching the Prof and Gilligan frolicking in the ocean while romantic music plays in the background .. thankfully we weren't subjected to that for long. The Prof equates the two of them as "being like peanut butter and jelly" .. uhhhhh , ok. As the castaways do a little sunbathing, Gilligan does a little more MaryAnn teasing. He explains this privately by saying that she has a very integral role in his strategy, therefore he MUST act as though he likes her. (my personal thought : I think Gilligan has a bit of a crush on Mary Ann ..) Radio Transmission : Meet at the beach for the first reward competition Competition : Find a msg in a bottle There are over 250 bottles on the beach and in the ocean. Each has a piece of paper in it but only one has a message on the paper. Each bottle must be brought to the uncorking area and opened. Person that finds the message in the bottle first wins the reward which is .. a dinner. And they're OFF !! The skipper dives in the water, while Gilligan stays as dry as possible as he scavenges the beach. The rest of the castaways mill around here and there. The whistle blows and Millionaire Miss Melissa has found the message !! She can ask one person to join her for dinner. Her choice is Gilligan Shawn because she says he needs the dinner the most. Gilligan says he thinks she has the hots for him .. oh pleeeeeez Host Scott announces that the next competition will be the safety competition and tells them all to head back to camp. In a private interview, Miss Melissa states that the reason she picked Gilligan was because she realizes that the orange team has an alliance and she says the more she can hang out with them and get to know them , the better off she'll be in the game. As night falls, Gilligan and Miss Melissa enjoy the grand reward : pizza and soda !! (my personal thought : where's the beer ? ???) Gilligan uses his diabetes monitor to check his levels before dining .. ( trying to be a little pitiful are we ??) Ok, he's talking about all this diabetic stuff .. WHILE THEY ARE EATING !!!! Nothing like pleasant dinner conversation !! In a private interview, Gilligan states that he feels like the reason Miss Melissa picked him to go to dinner with her was because she wanted him to get down and do the ....hibbidy dibbidy ???? with her ? (my personal thought : huh ??) Bedtime : Gilligan has to make sure that he tells The Skipper that he had dinner with one of The Skipper's former green teammates. A little more bickering between the two of them and they fall off into slumber land. As the castaways greet a new day, everyone is planning out their strategies. The Skipper tells Gilligan that Millionaire Jim is the one that needs to go. He tells Gilligan that Millionaire Jim is a smart sumabitch. Is Gilligan shaving his arm ???? Ginger is telling Mary Ann that they need to get rid of Millionaire Jim. In a private interview, Mary Ann says that she knows she is the swing vote and is not making alliances with anyone. Gilligan comes to Mary Ann's hut. She is scratching her arms and talking about bug bites, when Millionaire Jim also arrives in her hut and she says in a private interview that it's funny that she was being ignored all this time and suddenly everyone is up in her butt. After Gilligan leaves the hut, Millionaire Jim tells Mary Ann that if she aligns with the girls, she will never win and that her only chance is to stay with the orange team. He tells her that both of them have zero chance of winning if they don't play this way. Mary Ann nods and says a few mm hmm's as she half listens and scratches her mosquito bites. Later that day , Gilligan tries to be amusing as he pinches his belly fat and says .. "look !! my stomach is talking to you !!" (my personal thought : not amusing and not a good pick up line if he is looking for some hibbidy dibbidy) As The Skipper showers, Gilligan takes pot shots at him and says that The Skipper will have no chance of beating him at any type of physical challenge. Radio Announcement : Report to the lagoon for the first Safety Competition Competition : Host Scott explains that it will be an obstacle course. The castaway that completes the course in the shortest amount of time , wins the life preserver. He then explains to Prof Tiy-E that since he had difficulty with the last water challenge, he must either compete wearing a safety vest, or he must sit out , in which case he will have no chance of winning. Prof Tiy-E ponders the question and then gives his answer .. (dramatic music playing) .. he will sit out !! Gilligan says he needs to strap on a set and participate in these events. The competition begins and Gilligan is first .. his time 1:16 Next up is Mary Ann .. her time is .. 1:14 .. she says she whooped Gilligan's butt Skipper Crazy Charlie's turn .. his time .. 1:02 Millionaire Bounce is up .. he states that he has one of these set ups in his back yard so he is confident. His time .. 1:17. I guess he was a little overconfident. Ginger's turn .. her time is 1:30 Miss Melissa is last .. she feels she will kick butt on the kayak portion since she is experienced in canoeing. Her time .. 1:05 And to everyone's surprise, The Skipper has won the life preserver !!!! Gilligan looks sick. Off to Voodoo Village in the ever present lightning storm : Host Scott explains that each person has one vote and that Skipper Crazy Charlie is safe for tonight. Each player will take a voodoo doll of the person they want to be banished and drop it into a box. Skipper Charlie is up first .. he votes for Mr. Bounce Next is Gilligan .. his vote is for Miss Melissa Mary Ann's vote is kept private Prof Tiy-E votes for Miss Melissa Miss Melissa votes for Mr. Bounce Mr. Bounce votes for Miss Melissa Ginger's vote is for Mr. Bounce Host Scott counts the votes .. and the person that is banished is .... Mr. Bounce After a few hugs and a message of good luck , Mr. Bounce throws his voodoo doll into the fire and walks off to banishment. Privately, he says .. he was betrayed. Mary Ann states that she felt bad , but she needed to play for herself. As Mr. Bounce is reunited with his wife, tears flow and he carries her off into the night as she weeps on his shoulder and says .. "i'm so horny !!" awwww, how romantic huh ? Back at camp : Gilligan is really pissed at Mary Ann and calls her a scum bag. He says she's boring , mean and not that good looking. She tells HIM that he needs to lose weight. Tensions rise as he storms out of her hut and goes to sit with the Prof. Mary Ann runs out of the hut crying. Later on , Gilligan has second thoughts about his actions and feels that he has become the most hated person on the island, so he decides to go to The Skipper and throw him a few compliments in hopes of gaining his friendship. Skippers advice ? "you better be nice to da girls.. you better be nice to da girls" ________ Next day : Mary Ann says she had a bad night and she didn't wanna talk to the guys, so she goes to talk to Miss Melissa. Ginger comes in and says she is going down to the beach and Miss Melissa says she is going too, but Mary Ann stays behind. At the beach, Ginger and Miss Melissa talk about how hard it is to talk to Mary Ann sometimes. Meanwhile , in Skipper and Gilligan's hut, they have an argument because Gilligan was about to pee in the hut !! Skipper tells him never to do that again and Gilligan insists that "not one drop came out of his .. hung ?? hong hog?? I have no idea what he said, but it was something along those lines. He really is becoming quite sickening. He's NEVER gonna get any "hibbidy dibbidy" after THIS show !! Now Skipper asks him what he was thinking when he was about to pee in the hut and he said something like .. " I had to go and I was going to stick my johnson through the wall " .. noooooooooooooooooo .. I can't take him anymore !!!! As Skipper says .. "Day-ammm" Radio Announcement: Meet at the beach for Reward Competition Gilligan apologizes to Mary Ann and in private says it was not sincere. Down to the Beach : Host Scott says they will be fighting for 3,000.00. They must work in teams of three. Scattered about are parts of a totem pole. They must build a totem pole in the correct order. There is a catch : the castaways will be tied together. First team to assemble the totem pole correctly , wins. They pick teams and they are : Ginger, Gilligan, Skipper Miss Melissa, Mary Ann and the Prof Both teams use different strategies . Host Scott announces that they are neck and neck while assembling the totems. Both teams assemble them wrong and must start over. As the tension is growing , the whistle blows. The winners are : Gilligan, Ginger and The Skipper I think Gilligan says he is happy to have 1,000 bones in his pocket Back at camp : The girls get together and talk. They're wondering if the Professor is losing his motivation. Miss Melissa decides to go spear fishing. The Skipper decides he will go out with her. Gilligan and The Prof talk shop while Ginger walks in. Ginger tells them that just because the girls are talking, they shouldn't think there is an alliance. Miss Melissa spears a fish and attempts to clean the tiny creature while green stuff oozes out of it and she drops the head on Mary Ann's foot which grosses her out so she goes off to try to crack some coconuts. At this point, Mary Ann mentions that she smells .. let's just say .. urine. And Gilligan's bathroom habits become the topic of discussion. Later that evening Gilligan and The Prof discuss more strategy and Gilligan feels they should try to make some sort of deal with Ginger. Ok this is pretty gross. Prof Tiy-E tells Gilligan that he has .... cute eyes .. and that he should be an .... eye model. Then he tells Gilligan to make the face that he makes when he tries to get a girl's eye across the room. It's not so good, trust me. Then the Prof does his face and makes this .. slurping sound. Good grief. Next, Prof Tiy-E looks down at Gilligan's chest and tells him that his nipples look funny. He says he has no nipples. As Gilligan gets in the shower, the Prof tells him he is a nipple-less man. (personal note : ewwwwwww) Radio Announcement : Report to the beach for the second safety competition Competition: Host Scott welcomes the castaways and announces that their are six tikis representing each of them. They have to swing across a moat on one of the ropes and knock over another person's tiki. The person with the last tiki standing will be the winner .. but there's a catch. For the rope swing to work,. it's bucket has to be weighted down with enough coconuts to keep you from dropping into the moat. They will use wagons to transport coconuts. When you have enough to hold your weight you have to swing over the moat and knock over one tiki. (something like that anyway .. i got confused). And the competition begins !!!! Gilligan and Mary Ann get off to a fast start , followed by Skipper Charlie, then the Prof, Ginger .. and Miss Melissa brings up the rear. Mary Ann swings and falls in the moat so she has to start over. Gilligan gets over first and knocks over Miss Melissa's tiki. Skipper falls in the moat Miss Melissa gets over and knocks down The Prof's tiki Skipper gets over and knocks over Gilligan's tiki Ginger gets over and knocks over Mary Ann's tiki The Prof gets over and knocks over Skipper Charlie Erica wins the life preserver !! Back to camp : Gilligan says that he thinks alot of people feel that they have an alliance with Erika and he feels as though maybe she is playing people. (personal thought : I agree with Gilligan. Sadly, I must admit we have something in common !!) The Prof and Gilligan talk about making sure that Erika votes with them. Meanwhile Miss Melissa comes in to get some rations. Miss Melissa and Mary Ann talk about getting rid of the Prof. Ummm, the Prof is shaving the back of Gilligan's neck .. please don't let it go any further .. I think the Prof slapped Gilligan on the butt when he was done .. but thankfully they didn't show it. Erika says she is stressed out and doesn't know how she is going to vote when Miss Melissa talks to her about it. The Skipper talks with Miss Melissa and privately says that he will go along with whatever the girls want. Voodoo Village : Host Scott welcomes them in and once again explains the rules .. Ginger is up first ..her vote isn't shown Skipper is next .. his vote is for Prof Tiy-E Next is Gilligan .. he votes for Miss Melissa Prof Tiy-E also votes for Miss Melissa Miss Melissa votes for Prof Tiy-E Mary Ann's vote isn't shown Host Scott counts the votes .. the tension is mounting. 3 votes Miss Melissa , 1 vote for the Professor. He pulls out another voodoo doll. 3 votes Miss Melissa , 2 votes for the Professor. He pulls out the final doll .. Miss Melissa will be banished. She tells the group that they played the game really well and gives everyone hugs. Ginger says she feels responsible because she's the one that spoke with Mary Ann and the Prof and Gilligan and decided to vote her off. Miss Melissa throws her voodoo doll into the fire and walks away into banishment. When she sees her husband they hug and she tells him of when she made his coconut head and she told him about spearing the fish and cutting off it's head and .. well, all that romantic kind of stuff. Skipper feels shocked that Miss Melissa was voted off and now feels that he has no alliance and that he will probably be next. And with that, the castaways walk off to camp, pondering the many questions that are left unresolved. Will new alliances be formed ? Will Prof Tiy-E and Gilligan do the hibbidy dibbidy ? Will Gilligan get his bathroom habits under control ? Will Mary Ann stop complaining ? All of these questions , and much more, will be disclosed next week on .. the season finale ??

As Gilligan gets in the shower, the Prof tells him he is a nipple-less man. (personal note : ewwwwwww) After missing this part of the show, I'm glad that I did. I'm sure it was much easier to read that paragraph than to watch it. Keep up the good work!
