Wicked smart, beautiful and bound for the moon, Alyssa is a soulful and sometimes fiercely opinionated teenager from Yuba City, California. In school she has soared to the top of her class and her 4.67 GPA has, according to Alyssa, come easily to her. That is not to say that this high school senior is a stranger to hard work. In addition to her all Advanced Placement and Honors courses, she is constantly on the go, volunteering time with her local church and taking part in Native American Drumming - a part of Alyssa's Native American heritage. Well aware that a lot is happening outside of Yuba City, Alyssa has set her sights on attending a prestigious university to study aerospace engineering.

Alyssa has issues. She needs to get over her attitude, and I see her as having a chance at that last spot with the way they've been editing her.

I really hope she doesn't even get a final chance for the showdown with an attitude like that but again I doubt she will not have a chance in the final showdown

I think she deserved (yeah, I know... I said deserved again) to have a spot in the showdown last night, because of how she worked hard to keep her attitude in check, even when she didn't agree with her side of the debate, and she performed quite well on the task. Unfortunately, it would seem that her knowledge of American Presidents was limited, but that's ok, cause I really liked Amari.

The only thing this gal "deserves" is to have the surgery paid for. You know, the one where they remove the chip from her shoulder.
