Hailing from Memphis, Tennessee, Davis is the self-proclaimed future President of the United States. Perceived by some as "cocky" and others as "confident," he knows his strong personality can sometimes be his demise. With an impressive 4.6 GPA and equally notable SAT scores, Davis puts his intellect to good use. While donning scholastic hats such as Editor-in-Chief of his high school newspaper and carrying out the duties of president of the Junior Statesman Club, Davis is also an active member of his local political community and is a proud Eagle Scout, with six Palms.

Wow... if this guy ever becomes President of the United States... I would be quite scared.

Sure, he knows stuff, but as far as being extremely intelligent, like he thinks he is, I don't think so.

And good luck getting President of the United States now that this show is aired... You know this will be used against him.

I don't think he's done anything wrong. He's very driven and he's not afraid to be humble when he has too. He's proud of his accomplishments. :)

I dunno... I think he's too cocky for his own good. He wasn't very driven to study for the first challenge that he did, and the only reason he studied for this past one, was because his girlfriend was studying too.

He was and then it bit him on the backside at the first challenge. He wasn't studying for this History challenge, he was helping Liz AND Amari study. He was genuinely happy for Liz to win this week.

Come on dfleming, you KNOW you want to like him. ;)

I don't think he was helping Amari study, so much as she just happened to be in the room when he was teaching Liz.

I don't absolutely hate him... I just don't care for him as much as I like the other contestants... I would prefer they got the scholarship to him.

Why because they "deserve" it?

Puhlease! Give the kid a break he could end up being your congressman some day! :laugh

No, because I like them more... where I grew up, that was all scholarships were based on... how much the scholarship committee *cough*theatreteacher*cough* liked you... and that's what I'm basing my decision on... so there :P

Well his over-confidence got him again! It was a joyous evening in the dfleminator household last night, as we watched him lose. I couldn't believe that even after the fact he couldn't accept that the host said "20th century" and not "19th century".

Why do I get the feeling that you were beaten (not physically) by a guy like Davis? :laugh

I believe him when he said he thought the dude said 19th century. It's happened to me in very stressful circumstances. You are anticipating a question, you know the answer and you hear it a certain way. Poor guy...it was really painful to watch. What cinched it for me that he was telling the truth was that he didn't for one moment second-guess himself when given the opportunity. I'm sorry to see Davis go, but I'm sure he'll do well regardless. He "deserves" to do well in his life. ;)
