New ARTist Posts: 2 Group: New Member Member #92 Joined: April 13, 2005	Love the show, The Contender has reignighted my love of boxing, which had suffered since the decay of Mike Tyson and the debacle that is Don King. In the past 2 episodes (7 & 8) they have played the first few bars of a rap song as the team challenge begins. The song goes something like this... "My crew is getting fired up, everybody getting sized up, everybody get fired up" or something similar... Please, does anyone know who sings this and what it's called? Thank you for your time... Enjoy The Contender. Also, does anyone know of an email address for the show where we could write our support and appreciation?

Welcome to ART, hope you stick around and enjoy the Contender with us While I couldn't find the lyrics, I did find an article on the internet (I forget where now...) that said they were using Hush's "Fired Up" in The Contender, so I assume that's what the song is called. No wonder every search I did for the song, came up fruitless, the Hush album (Bulletproof) won't be released until May 17th. The Contender has exclusive rights to this rapper's music until then. He appears to be a protoge of Eminem. http://www.mchush.com/ Here's his site with a QuickTime movie of that song (giving us a bit more than they offer on our favorite boxing show, but adding some gang-like firearm references). However, the version of Fired Up on The Contender, sounds a bit cleaner, in that it has a crisper sound with less production noise. Hush has The Contender logo and link on his site too. Can't wait for next week's show. Hopefully, now that The Ultimate Fighter is over, some of those fight fans will come on over to our side, and boost the ratings. Keep shining...
