Ok, at the risk of facing the wrath of my fellow Constantine appreciators... I disliked his performance last night, vocally. I thought it was completely wrong and wierd. On the other hand, I'm not worried that he's going to voted out anytime soon. |

I think with all the shrieks he most definitely limited the number of people supporting him. Since some people (mostly the young ones) believe a shriek is a form of expressing their emotions. But since this is a nation-wide all age group show it wasn't a wise choice with all the screaming

I liked it, I thought it's his style. Plus, you have to remember that most of the voters are young people. I don't think it was anywhere near the best performance of the night, but I don't think it was that bad. He will probably advance to next week anyway, but he will have to improve a lot next week. |

I'll be honest - I'm pretty sick of Constantine. He's not the best singer. He doesn't have the best stage presence. He doesn't have the best looks. He doesn't even have the best mixture of the three. So why does he keep on coming back? Because he's different. But there are people that are different that have an extremely strong voice and amazing stage presence - look at Bo, look at Carrie, or look at Nadia. They bring something unique to the competition, but they've got the talent to back it up. You can appreciate them even if you don't like their style - I think Carrie's an amazing singer, and I definitely hate country music. Constantine brings a unique edge to the competition, sure - but to those that don't like his style in the slightest, he brings a bunch of suck, too. Plus, there's a way to scream while singing that doesn't sound like you're being murdered. He should try it some time

I think this so called singer needs to be booted and its a shame that they kept him over Nikko. For those who think that its "just his style" , I thought this was about talent (of which he has very little) he is very seldom in pitch. his so called shreiks were nothing more than an attempt to sound "into it" at which he failed miserably. I feel that he has had the worst performance of all the men for the last 2 weeks. He doesnt rock he sucks. Thats my opinion for what its worth and it just seems so sad that the american public cant see past the looks to get to the talent. |

Maybe he doesn't have the best voice in the competition, but at least you remember him. He has some personality unlike many of the others. Five minutes after some of them perform I'm like "who was that and what song did they do?" If you think about some of the current stars, I don't think some of their voices are all that, but they DO have personality. |

I've been hoping for Constantpain to be gone for weeks! But he has managed to garner a fan base of little girls and there is a web site that encourages people to vote for the worst contestant as a joke and Connie has been their poster boy! Well... America's done a good job so far. Seeing anyone but Constantine go before the final 8... it would destroy me. The other 8 deserve it. Constantine screams strangely. It just... wouldn't be right. |
