"Contender or Pretender?" is a new ARTicle, where two of our wonderful admins will each pick a fighter from an episode of the Contender, and speak on their behalf. Ahmed - The Pretender Ishe, Ishe, Ishe. What is it about this Ishe, huh? I'm prettier than him! Look at my face! Look at my dance moves when I was playing dodgeball! Look at my fiancee! I would kiss myself, if I could! If I wasn't myself, I would turn around whenever I walked into a room and say 'Damn, Ahmed, you lookin' fiiiinnne'. Would that happen to Ishe? I don't think so. I've got better fashion sense than Ishe, too. Look at my suit that I wore to dinner with my fiancee! I was looking pretty... pretty! I don't see why Ishe thinks he's so good. I wanted to beat him to a pulp in that fight, y'know? I wanted to show off some of my dance moves when I won, right? I wanted to confuse him with my head gestures and then beat him down with my shining smile. I don't see how he won - I had him the whole time. I wasn't even breathing hard! And I'm pretty! That should cause me to win right there! But I'm never gonna give up, see? I'm gonna keep on fighting. I'm gonna be in Hollywood. And I'm gonna win more matches. Y'know why? Because I'm pretty, that's why! Look at my face - not a single scratch. I don't know how Ishe won. I'm just so much better than him. Look at me when I was hanging up my boxing gloves! Look at that face! Look at me when I inspected myself in the mirror! I've just got that 'it' factor - Inconcievable and Tremendously good looks. This loss won't stop me, just you watch. Ishe - The Contender Ahmed, Ahmed, Ahmed. Man that guy makes me sick. His mouth just keeps going, but his fists can't keep up with it. My whole fist could flown right into that mouth of his. I don't know why I didn't fight him sooner. I'm not sure what got into me, but I know that my wife could probably take this pretty boy on, even holding my baby boy in one arm. I just wish I'd taken him out sooner... well now that my honor has been restored, I should probably go back to my family to give my kids a bath, and thank the Lord for his faithfulness in this fight. |
