Last night I lost all respect I had for this kid. Last week he showed us all that he was a real amateur, and then last night he quit saying that he couldn't play on. Sugar Ray was right that a boxer doesn't say that about his injuries. I was especially surprised that he told the guys that the doctor told him he couldn't play, but the doctor actually gave him the choice. And then the fact that he said that he knew he would lose in the next round and he wanted to leave undefeated reaked of cowardice. I thought after last week that this kid was a sloppy boxer who showed potential, but he obviously doesn't want to learn enough to be willing to lose to learn some lessons. This kid just ain't go it imo |
