Ok, I have to say that I'm really enjoying this episode. Not since Omarosa has there been this much controversy. I have to wonder what is up with Angie though, siding with Audrey. I wonder how she is going to react in the boardroom. Audrey wants John gone, but I don't see how it can be anyone other than Audrey. She is so incapable of doing anything, and I think she needs to go back to kindergarten and have her little nappy-nap and suck her thumb. But that's just my opinion I guess. |

Audrey brings John, Craig and Angie into the boardroom. I really hope this doesn't come back to bite Angie in the ass. I hope that Audrey gets fired so that Angie can get out of her alliance with Audrey. You really shouldn't align yourself with someone as weak as Audrey. Audrey's "more beautiful than thou" attitude is getting tiring to me, and she needs to go. |

Well... I watched the episode, and I can honestly say that Audrey should be ashamed of herself. No, really. Right after Audrey and Craig came back into the suite from the boardroom, she doesn't talk to her teammates about it. Hey, last time, Stephanie at least admitted to fault when she was wrong, and was able to talk things out. Audrey refused to see herself from a different perspective, and instead of discussing anything with her teammates, she walks into another room. Angie is concerned about Audrey, and decides to act as a soundboard. Chris is on the balcony with the two of them, and the only thing Audrey could do was tell sob stories about how rough her life has been. The minute I heard that, I said, "Oh, come on! You think you're the only one who's had a rough life? What about the other candidates? How do you know whether or not they have had rough lives themselves? She used her background as an excuse for people to feel sorry for her. You can't do that in business. No one is going to take you seriously when you do that. Audrey stepped up to the plate to become the project manager for this week's task, and John advised against it because of her attitude the other night. It may sound harsh, but he was right. She was in no position to perform any kind of management. I agreed with John before NetWorth went to work. Then later on, John asks for approval for a marketing strategy from Audrey, and she said, "no, you're in charge of that. You handle it." Uh, no. As a leader, you need to step in to see what's going on, otherwise, you're going to let things run out of control. Chris made a stupid mistake by chewing tobacco while being dressed as a clown to entertain kids. He did admit that he was addicted, and yes it is bad. However, you don't want to chew tobacco in front of children. That's like telling a kid that chewing tobacco is no different than chewing gum. I'm surprised Audrey wasn't around to see that. NetWorth loses the task, Audrey talks to Angie secretly, and asks if she had messed up along the lines from being the project manager. Angie again, acts as a soundboard. Audrey told her that she would bring John and Craig into the boardroom. And what happened? Audrey brings John, Craig, and Angie. The minute she brought up Angie's name, I said to myself, "how stupid can Audrey be? What is she going to prove by bringing Angie in the boardroom? Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you supposed to bring in the least helpful person into the boardroom? By bringing Angie, it shows that Audrey is scared to defend herself on her own, and needs her "soundboard" again. The Donald asks Audrey why he brought Angie in, and I thought she was going to say that she brought her in as a witness or something. I was wrong. She said that she brought Angie in because she was just as responsible as John and Craig for the marketing strategy. Funny... she didn't bring that up when she talked to Angie back in the suite. Angie, originally thought that John should be fired, but then turned her gun away from him, and pointed it at Audrey for that comment. I can't say that I blame her. As a business associate, you need to talk to the person before bringing it up in front of the CEO. To say that Angie backstabbed Audrey is irrelevant. Audrey tried to pin Angie when the going got too tough for her. Then Audrey states that everyone on NetWorth should be fired except for Tana. Except for Tana? Tana sold Audrey out, so did everyone else, and she thought that everyone but Tana should be fired? Uh... no. That's a huge indication that she couldn't handle the pressure. If she couldn't handle the pressure with her team, what makes her think that she's gonna handle the pressure when she works for Donald Trump? Bottom line, Audrey is a little girl living in an adult world. She let her emotions get the best of her, she couldn't take any constructive criticism from any of her teammates, she couldn't lead her team, and what I hated more than anything was the fact that she brought Angie to the boardroom without discussing the problems with her beforehand. Angie didn't belong in there at all. If Audrey kept her eyes open with all of her teammates, she probably would've brought Chris into the room for chewing tobacco in front of kids, which is my opinion would be a bad influence. She obviously has a lot of growing up to do. She's not ready for to work for Donald Trump. I'm glad she's gone. |

Wow! ![]() That was an awesome post crp. And I agree with pretty much everything you said. The only thing I'm not so sure about is that Audrey brought Angie in because she was part of marketting. I think that she used that as an excuse to bring Angie into the boardroom to support her. But I don't think Angie was aware that this was happening, and so she took Audrey down. I think it was a horrible strategy, which stems from a horrible task. I do think that John was more antagonistic than he needed to be. If I was on that team, and she said to me that she wasn't going to have any part in a decision, that I should make that decision, then I would just make the damn decision! It looks good that you took initiative, and it makes her look even worse for pawning off everything on you. I think John knew that Audrey would be fired, so he just decided to be antagonistic, and I'm not sure I like that either. |

Yay! Crpsaiayn!! Excellent recap!!! I agree about Audrey's demise starting at the very beginning of last night's episode.. When she came back up to the suite, and didn't talk to anybody.. Rather than being so offended that she went to the BR on the last task... she should have taken that as an "eye-opener" to take a look at herself and see what changes she sould make to better herself. (Ending up in the suite, rather than the street, post BR. SHOULD be concidered as second chance). She definately took it personnaly, figuring she could use that energy to get John fired. Did anyone else see the light go on above John's head when he realized that if he were to agree to Audrey's being PM there was a high likelyhood of her being fired should their team loose the task?? I think he played an excellent game of self preservation during the task... he was reasonably polite and respectfull of Audrey during the task... He was able to word most things so she would hang herself on the whole "who's responsibe for the loss" thingy! Good riddance Audrey.... oh yeah.... IMHO Erin is the prettiest one. hahahahaha (sorry DT, you can't get EVERYTHING right!!) |

RE: Good answer. That's exactly what I would've done if I were in John's shoes. I would've said, "okay, fine, Audrey. I will make the decision as to what marketing strategy we should do. But if it doesn't work out, don't put me to blame. That's all I'm saying."
RE: Well... you have to be antagonistic when you're in that boardroom. The minute the project manager nominates you to go in there, your position is at stake. Let me ask you this. If you were in the boardroom, and the project manager was putting all blame on you, and you felt that you didn't do anything wrong, wouldn't you defend yourself? Maybe John was a harsh, but unfortunately when you're in there, it's survival of the fittest; it's every man for himself. If you don't speak now, you never will, and Trump could give you the axe. I understand what you're saying. It was obvious that Audrey was going to get fired before they even went into the boardroom, so why add more tension? Well... you can't expect to just sit there and watch the execution. For all we know, the executives probably would let her slide. No doubt, The Donald and his associates know that Audrey did horrible, but they want input from the team as well. It all goes back to The Donald's advice from last week's episode -- the one titled, "Shut Up And Listen". He said, "I'll always want to hear what people have to say. It doesn't mean you have to do what they're saying, but always listen. If you do all the talking, you're not going to learn a lot", and it's true. |

I completely agree with you on that point crp. I was referring more to John being antagonistic towards Audrey during the actual task, when there is no need for it. |

RE: Ohhhh, that. You're referring to the part where Audrey asked John to put on his clown suit, and then John gave her the cold shoulder over the phone. In that case, I stand corrected. Yeah, he shouldn't have answered that way to Audrey. She already did the damage which was bad on her part, but there was no excuse for John to make the situation any worse by calling her an idiot and saying that he won't help her; that makes him look bad. |

Hello all. I'm just getting over the flu and just now starting to look at this thread. I missed The Apprentice this week because I was ill, but caught up on what happened on the nbc site. I DID see the first 10 min or so of the show where Audrey had her breakdown. I don't like all the "drama" she created, but I really did feel sorry for her, but when she was like "Oh nobody liked me because I was beautiful" crap, she lost me.
