I'm Sensing Some Roid Rage

ARTicle by Jlyl
Wassup, hamster fans? Angie and Jessie are on the block – what’s going to go down at the POV comp and ceremony? Will the meathead avenge himself? Will Libra’s clock start ticking? Will we find out if Jerry and Ollie are still in the house? Let’s see …
When I look back at the nomination ceremony, I can really see Jessie’s anger and Angie’s blank stare. I’m wondering if Angie is nominated less for her link to Brian and more for her lack of a link to other players. She just doesn’t seem engaged to me. Jessie, however, is steaming mad – this is going to make for some good tv! Keesha holds Jessie responsible for Steven’s departure, but Jessie somehow blames his nomination on Libra in a conversation with Michelle.
Keesha holds court in her HOH room and there is no lack of people willing to congratulate her for her nominations. April says that Steven will be so proud of her and the group (Keesha, Ollie, Renny, April, and Libra) agree that Angie is on her way out. In another part of the house, Jerry talks to Dan about why Memphis should be the one to be evicted instead. He notes that as a bartender, Memphis is coasting through life and also calls him a womanizer. Jerry thinks that Memphis is walking away with the game and nobody is trying to stop him.
Jessie stuffs his anger down deep enough to go and kiss Keesha’s butt for a little while. He puts some heat on Libra, blaming her for Steven’s departure. He throws April and Ollie into the mix too, saying that he wanted to get Renny out. Libra and April try to interrupt Jessie’s time, but Keesha shuts them down and tells them to come back later. The two of them have a seat near the door and that helps Jessie reel Keesha into what he is saying. Keesha is upset with herself at this point for nominating Jessie, but she’s struggling with the fact that she “gave Libra her word.” She’s getting scared, though, because Jessie has her convinced that Libra is trying to get Keesha out. After the conversation, Keesha brushes it off to Libra and April as nothing while Jessie congratulates himself on his performance with Michelle.
At the start of the veto comp, Jessie is completely convinced that it doesn’t matter who plays – he’s going to win. They pick players and Keesha picks Libra, Angie picks Ollie, and Jessie picks Memphis. Dan is named host and the houseguests head outside. The players are dressed as flowers (any excuse to put everyone in a body stocking, right BB?) Each player is instructed to “plant” themselves in a box where they will be watered by BB. They have to do their best to leave the box after they have been watered for one hour. The player to sit in the box for closest to one hour (without going over) will win. The toughest part is that the watering will take place on their forehead, and apparently the water is cold. Angie says that it gives her a brain freeze.
Of course BB has to mix things up – this time it’s by adding things to their boxes. The non-playing houseguests get to choose between some sort of stew (“compost”) and a bucket of worms, and they choose the live worms. Keesha couldn’t handle it and decided to get out of her box at 22 minutes. This left Libra and Ollie against Jessie, Angie, and Memphis. Jessie took that opportunity to call Libra out, saying that she had told him to put Steven up. She admitted to doing that – along with the 8 other people that were in the room at the time. Angie just laughed.
At 44 minutes, the “compost” is added to the boxes. Ollie calls it just straight funky and Michelle actually gagged. The players held out, though, with Libra and Ollie strategizing as to when they would leave. Libra thought she left right around 55 minutes and they agreed that Ollie would stay to cover if she was early. Jessie went out right after Libra did and they had some words about the nominations. Jessie, Libra, and Keesha feel sure that Libra and Jessie are out under the hour, and Angie feels that she has the thing wrapped up. She goes out next followed by Ollie and Memphis.
The results: Keesha won! Everyone else went over by at least 15 minutes. This sucks – the girl who couldn’t hack it won while those that toughed it out messed up. To make matters worse, Keesha doesn’t seem to acknowledge that she won because everyone else blew it – no, this just shows what a great player she is. If I had been sitting in that “compost,” I may have punched Miss Hooters just then!
Jessie and Michelle send Angie to Keesha to tell her to use the POV on Jessie in order to put Libra up. Angie thinks that it would be pointless to even ask Keesha to use the POV on her anyway, so she’s willing to go plead Jessie’s case. Angie tells Keesha that she wants her to use the POV on Jessie because she’s sick of living with Libra and wants to go head-to-head with her. Angie then starts crying. Maybe there’s something that I’m not seeing …
Keesha uses April as a way to make herself feel better about throwing Libra, her alliance-mate, under the bus. April and Ollie help Keesha out, saying that Libra is only hurting their alliance because everyone hates her, so they may as well get her out sooner rather than later. Keesha is still torn, though, because putting Libra up would mean breaking her word. Jessie must sense that she’s wavering, because he takes her into the HOH room again to keep working her. She tells him that he doesn’t need to worry, though, because everyone will do whatever Keesha tells them to. Jessie keeps working Keesha, saying anything he can about Libra. He goes so far as to tell Keesha that he is being prosecuted for something he didn’t do – he’s being falsely accused – he’s physically ill because Libra has done him so wrong. Poor thing isn’t eating or sleeping because he had no part of Steven leaving and Libra has evilly done him in.
Side note … BB is bringing back America’s Player, but this time America gets to choose who the player is and the player will get to choose whether or not they play along. Hmm … the player selected will get an offer of $20,000.
Jessie goes back again to yell at Keesha because now Keesha is causing Jessie’s distress because she isn’t easily flipping on Libra. It’s horrible how Jessie is being treated! It’s ridiculous that Jessie is being targeted after coming into this game trying to play with respect! It’s horrible that Libra and Keesha have brought this pain upon him! Finally, Keesha has enough and tells Libra and Jerry that Jessie is flipping out. Keesha then goes around the house telling people that she gave her word to Libra, everyone knows it, she’s not going back on it, and she doesn’t want anyone else to ask her to put Libra up. She says that everyone is on different pages and she just wants everyone to be on the same page. During this show, Jessie stands up and tells Libra that he has no problem with her, but everyone else does. Wisely, she walks away.
In the next big excitement, some houseguests spot a banner, which triggers a lockdown. The HGs that were outside, Memphis, Jessie, Michelle, and Angie, decide that they should pretend to know what the banner says and they create a message of, “Libra’s a liar. Love, Steven.” Michelle goes to tell the lie to the rest of the house while her little cohorts laugh about it. Then Memphis goes in to add his two cents, saying that Michelle made it up – he really saw it and it said Libra and somebody else were liars, love Steven. Everyone asks him who the other person was, but he said that he couldn’t see it. Then he gets in an argument with all of them, but especially Jerry, who calls him a womanizer again. This causes Memphis to flip out, screaming at Jerry and bringing up the first night when Jerry touched boobies. Things are getting cuh-razy up in this house!
We finally get to the POV ceremony … Jessie sits with his roid-rage angry face and Angie sits with her usual blank stare. Angie says … not much … she’s true to herself, blah, blah, blah, she wants Keesha to make a rational decision, blah, blah, blah … Jessie says that he proved that he was going to stand up for himself, his actions are justified, if he threw everybody under the bus, they threw them under the bus, Keesha has an opportunity to right a wrong … basically he makes no sense at all. In the end, Keesha decides to not use the POV at all. She says that it was hard enough to put two people up and that she doesn’t want to put a third person up. In the DR, Keesha says she kept her word, Libra says she shucked and jived and that she owes Keesha, Angie says that she is counting on Jessie to blow up so that she can stay in the game (hmm … all of a sudden it’s not so horrible to stay in a house where Libra is – what happened to that deal, Angie?) and Jessie continues with his craziness. Wow, is he freakin’ insane or what?
