Just wondering if anyone has an interest in this one? Saw the first episode and it wasn't too bad. I like Gene Simmons ... but that's about it. HATED seeing Omaros back.

Yes! I'm watching. I SO wished the Evil One had gone last week instead of that other girl (playboy bunny girl--sorry don't remember her name right now).

I loved, loved, LOVED Hydra's commercial last night. I really do think Marianne should have been in the board room with Nelly and Nadia instead of Carol. I don't get what all the animosity toward Carol is about.

I hated Hydra and I didn't like their commercial as much either. I hate Gene Simmons. He's a creepy disgusting old man.
On the other hand, I love having Omarosa there... she's the reason the Apprentice really took off... after her season it never did as well. Love her or hate her, she makes good tv!

Love having Omrosa there??? Blasphemy!
dfleminator - January 11, 2008 09:53 PM (GMT)
Think how boring it would be without her.
In fact, think how boring the Apprentice has been without her...
They should rename it the Omarosa Show... no one tunes in for Trump...

I know people always talk about having the "person we love to hate" on various shows ... I guess I am in the minority. I hate the bad guys. Omarosa especially. At least Fairplay was fun to watch on Survivor. She isn't fun at all. It's that 'I am the greatest" attitude of hers that gets me.
I LOVED Hydra's commercial It was awesome. I give Baldwin and Simmons kudos for carrying out the vision they had, but do think they should have let the others be more involved. I don't think it would have hurt anything letting them sit in on the final production.
From the commercials prior to the show it looked like the KISS man was getting the axe because of the way he talked to the Donalds poor little girl, but happily it didn't happen.
Now it appears as if he will be heading to the ladies team. I really would have liked to see Piers (sp) go since he and Omarosa have a mutual hate thing going.

No no no... do NOT bring "JFP" into this... he was not fun to watch at all...

Dflem ... check the Suvivor thread, but make sure you are sitting down LOL
dfleminator - January 14, 2008 02:32 AM (GMT)
I've known that for some time...
I won't be watching.

Aw, come ON! He'll be the first to go from the faves team. Is there ANYBODY that would keep his smarmy butt? His "strategy" is only good once. Not only that, but the "take the person least likely to get voted for in the end" plan just isn't flying these last 4 or 5 seasons. They need to get rid of the cancer first so he'll be going. I'm thinking Jonathan (one of my all time faves) will see to THAT!
dfleminator - January 14, 2008 07:11 PM (GMT)
well let me know when he's gone and I'll tune in...
chairo - January 14, 2008 10:05 PM (GMT)
Evel Dick likes JFP ... isn't that a good endorsement? LOL Really I don't like him either, but they must think he'll help the ratings.

That says a lot right there chairo :giggle:

Oh my gosh--I was happy that Piers won last night. I like Trace but I felt like Piers went full bore the whole season and deserved to win! :)
chairo - March 28, 2008 07:15 PM (GMT)
I just don't like Piers attitude. AND like Donald said, if Trace had had the rollerdex that Piers had, they would have been more closely matched. I did think Trace was right when he said some of his people who gave 5000 was even more of a burden than those friends of Piers who gave 100 thousand.
Beside they were being judged on 3 criteria and Piers only won one of those ... the auction. He blew the meal and he blew the celebrities. Trace on the other hand won his other two .... number of celebrities and taking care of the entertainment. So in fact having won two of the three areas of the competition Trace should have won.
Taking nothing from Piers and all he accomplished but I don't think he desreved to win this one
dfleminator - March 28, 2008 07:35 PM (GMT)
Piers won? Seriously? I stopped watching because I couldn't stand watching that dolt. He and Trump deserve each other. What a pair of blowhards!
jonnysbandit - March 28, 2008 08:21 PM (GMT)
Yeah but the portion Piers won was so much above what Trace did how could Donald NOT hire him? I mean, sorry guys--I work as a fund-raiser--and you can be as nice as you wanna be but in the end if you don't bring in the bucks your niceness isn't gonna pay the bills for the people you are trying to serve. Like him or not Piers did deserve to win.
dfleminator - March 28, 2008 10:32 PM (GMT)
The show was a joke though... it had everything to do with who knew the most famous people. It has nothing to do with skill.
chairo - March 29, 2008 12:55 AM (GMT)
dlflem, I agree with that. It was the person with the largest group of friends with the deepest pockets that won the comps, with a few exceptions. As outspoken as Simmons could be, he felt Trace should win.
