Please keep all discussion of tonight's episode in this thread until Midnight ET.

Thanks and enjoy the show!

Also, please note that Canadians in the atlantic, eastern (and probably Central) timezones are an hour ahead of the eastern time zone!

Well, this was an interesting episode. I'm glad that Juan de la Rosa is out, because he seems like a big coward. That being said, I'm not particularly fond of a guy who lost the first round coming back to fight in the second. It was one thing for someone like Manfredo, who lost in the first round, to come back and fight AGAIN in the first round, but it just doesn't seem fair, and I hope that these guys pick someone who sucks like Tarek or even Ahmed, and do away with him quickly... unfortunately, I think these guys may have too much class for that.

Also, I thought Joey did an excellent job in tonight's fight, and he showed a LOT of heart coming back with his hamstring injury. I have said it before that I thought Joey was underestimated, and he proved me right.

I can't remember the last time a show made me feel so excited for a competitor to win... This show has so much raw emotion, I think it's one of the better reality shows out there right now.

They bring back Ahmed! You can also see the two fights. One Ishe vs. Sergio
And Ahmed vs. the guy that beat Manfredo(Sorry, cant remember his name off hand)

Actually, as much as I hate Ahmed, I am very excited that he is coming back... basically because I don't think he could beat anyone in this competition, and I want to see him humiliated again.

I think Jeff should have a chance to come back and fight. I'm sure he would break some hearts in the ring. He's quick and has great endurance.
Not that 5 rounds is long, but they do give it their all in there.

I am watching the Contender, but I hate the fact that they only show highlights of the fights. Mark Burnett is sometimes too smart for his own good. I don't think the "family" scenes are entertaining or add anything to the show. Just show us the boxers. The Ultimate Fighter on Spike was waaaaaaaay more entertaining to me and the finale was the best reality tv final EVER!

henry, I think it depends on the viewer. Many viewers would definitely prefer to see the whole fight, and other viewers (myself included) like to see the family shots. In my opinion, it gives me someone to root for knowing a bit of their background.

Rumor has it that there may be a Contender DVD coming out with the full fights. I might get that, because I would like to see the full fights (without slo-mo) myself.
