It's time to start dancing again!!! Let's talk about tonight's show in here.

There was only one person I was not impressed with tonight. I think her name was Josie? Sabrina was awesome. Even Marie and Jane did much better than I expected. The Spice girl was very good ... but the highlight of the night was getting to see Maks

I'm with you chairo. The highlight of every season of Dancing for me is Mighty Maks. Josie stinks...sorry but the gal was bad. Everyone else did a great job. Jane Seymore is so elegant. I want to be her when I grow up. And I just love Kelly Taylor...oops I mean Jennie Garth. Recap coming soon.

When the show first started, I was pleasantly surprised with how well Jennie did. I am a HUGE 90210 fan (Bless the Soap Network rerunning those old episodes every day of the week). The dance of the night was Sabrina's. I really liked the dance and the hip hop. The new pros definately brought it!

Correct me of I am wrong - did Alec have the supermodel last season, too? For some reason, I don't foresee her being on the show for more than this week.

You are correct cheernmama. Last season Alec danced with Paulina Porizkova and they were the first out. I hate that he may go early b/c I love him. And for any one interested, Alec and (my favorite female pro) Edyta were married recently. I don't know how Mark Cuban is going to do... I'm seeing another Kenny Mayne so maybe he'll be out first and Alec will have another week.

Mark Cuban has the money to BUY this comp ... at least enough to get some lessons, but it's hard to believe he will take it all very serious. I hope I am wrong cuz I sort of like the goof.

I have seen Wayne Newton live on stage and I just can't see him pulling this off. The rest of the guys are eye candy, so I hope they stick around, but I really would like to see a woman win and right out of the gate I think Sabrina will be the gal to beat, unless she just can't get the Hip Hop out of her ballroom. The judges made some allowances last night but not sure they will in the future.

Seymore has been one of my favorite actresses ... didn't know she was in Bond though. She did a back in time movie, Time after Time??? that could be the wrong title but I love her in it. However, I am not sure her demure and elegance will win her the title.

Same with Marie Osmond. SHe did okay and she is so fun to watch because she has such an over the top bubbly personality, but these two older ladies up against the likes of a Spice girl and Sabrina (not even seen the guys yet) probably aren't going to walk away with the glitzy dance ball.

I do like the line up of dancers, but have to admit I never heard of most of the guys.

I don't think the girls have anything to worry about this week. After seeing the line-up of guys, it's safe to say that one of them will be going home this week. I know they haven't performed, but I don't see them pulling out the same success as the women did last night.

Macs has been replaced in my book with Derek :wub: I'm so glad he's on board this year.

chairo, that movie that Jane was in with Christopher Reeve was "Somewhere In Time." I remember it too. Beautiful movie.

Mark Cuban does have the bucks and he is a card, but I don't know if he's got any rhythm. And that...you can't buy.

Josie was horrible and I don't see her getting many, if any votes. I would have voted for Alec but she holds no appeal for me.

FG...you are more than welcome to Derek. He is cute, in that All American boy next door way, but I'm gonna be sticking with my "oh you're the hard one that is in love with yourself" Maks. ;)

She may have been bad, but her personality was infectious. She was really trying too. I loved that she was "deceptively unfit".

Yes, that was funny. I would love for her to stay only for the reason that Alec gets to stay. I loved him during season one and then he was no where in site, came back for season four and then left right away. Alec is right up there for me with Maks. We'll see how the boys do tonight and maybe one of them will be out. I only have knowledge of Cameron, Wayne, and Mark. The other three are really unknowns to me.
