Title: Without Prejudice

realerthenreal - July 26, 2007 09:20 AM (GMT)
I was just on GSN.com and read a bit about a new show called “Without Prejudice?” It’s a new game show with an interesting twist. A group of ordinary people judge five contestants (some of whom are gay, Arab American, etc.) based on their first impressions. Looks like it’s going to be a good one. If you go to gsn.com/withoutprejudice you can answer the Zogby/GSN poll questions to see if you are “Without Prejudice.”

Quite frankly, it sounds like a rip-off from a BBC show I used to watch. The name alludes me now. It was pretty interesting though. Welcome realerthenreal.

Thanks for the welcome. I think the show is actually the american version of the show youre thinking of. The podcast for this show just came out on itunes, but you've been able to find videos for a while on youtube. Check it out: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore...st?id=260233972

I caught 1/2 of this show over the weekend. Looks interesting. I'm glad they gave the money to Henry last week.

Yes, Im with you on that one. I think the show will get better once it finds itself. Shows can be odd like that.

I've seen a couple clips online- the previews look interesting enough. I don't have GSN though:(

I really like this show, but sometimes I can't believe how people think. I just watched the preview of the hermaphrodite, it's really suprising how some people just don't care about anyone but themselves it's amazing to me. :cry

funnygirl - August 16, 2007 07:57 PM (GMT)
Did it begin already? Dang!

Yeah Funnygirl, it's been on for a few weeks now. But realerthanreal provided us with the itunes link. You can also catch the shows on the GSN website.

I have a hard time watching the whole show on itunes I dont know if it is my computer or what but I usually just go to GSN's website. I can't wait for the next episode :wacko

That's where I watch it:)
Looking forward to tonight's episode. Looks like it could get heavy, especially when dealing with religion.

I would have not have given the money to Ricky! He is a spoiled kid and what is he going to do with the money? Get an engagement ring. Brother. The other guy on the other hand, could have helped the homeless. good call--NOT. :angry

I CANNOT believe they picked Ricky. That boy does not need anymore help to be a spoiled brat. A little hard work could help him not $25,000 dollars. Back call on the judges part :angry

this might be one episode where they didn't pick the best person for the winner.

dfleminator - August 24, 2007 05:21 PM (GMT)
I'm watching this right now... this is an EXCELLENT show... I saw that there was so much discussion here, so I thought I'd go online and watch it.

I had trouble liking ANY of the contestants on this show... Maybe the first woman would have been acceptable

jonnysbandit - August 24, 2007 05:35 PM (GMT)
You know, I was thinking the same thing. She seemed to be an entrepreneur who had business accumen and could probably have put the money to good use! I'm disappointed that Mike didn't ge the money just based on the fact that some didn't agree with his lifestyle. Let's see...what's more "worthy?" Funding a program for the homeless or buying bling for your GF? Hmmmmm such a tough decision... :wacko

dfleminator - August 25, 2007 01:59 AM (GMT)
I don't have a problem with his lifestyle. My problem with him was that he said that he believes in all the teachings of Jesus... except for the ones he disagrees with. The way I see it, Jesus didn't leave room to pick and choose. That's the biggest problem I had with him. That and he just seems sleazy to me... I'm not sure that I buy the homeless thing...

Really?? I thought he was sincere, I believe he was going to put that money to good use. I'm excited for tomorrow night, 9 o'clock I got a date with my couch. :laugh

I missed last night's episode. Can someone catch me up?

realerthenreal - August 30, 2007 07:01 PM (GMT)
After some ups and downs with one of the contestants who has an open marriage the panel again chose a really good person for the money. I was with Scott all the way on being a Dennis fan.

jonnysbandit - August 30, 2007 07:46 PM (GMT)
I missed this week too! :cry

crushonjlw123 - August 30, 2007 08:42 PM (GMT)
I thought the show this week was kinda slow. There wasn't really any controversy or opposing opinions, but I think the panel really picked the right contestant. I felt the other contestants were kind of fake or wouldn't spend the money wisely. Not only will Dennis appreciate the money I think he will some good with it. :D
