On Sunday nights at 10pm on the History Channel. Anyone else watching this? I got hooked watching a mini-marathon on Saturday last weekend! These guys are NUTS!!!

Awesome epi last night.

TJ--rushed to hospital with torn abdominal muscles
Alex--stuck on ice road, pulled out by fellow trucker
Hugh--fed up with Drew, what's new?
Drew--too many breakdowns--went home!

My husband is a trucker and LOVES this show...I've grown to like it too...

You know... it isn't a show I EVER thought I'd watch but I got hooked while watching a mini-marathon 2 weekends ago! I don't know about you but the thought of driving on nothing but ice scares the heck out of me!

I got hooked in too JB. I can't believe I would ever watch a show like this but I find myself hunting for it.

Have you been watching Deadliest Catch too? It's along the same lines... crab fishing in Alaska.

Both are pretty amazing. I find myself holding my breath watching them.

I finally got to watch last night. This show is the worst about editing stuff to look like something major that turns out to be nothing. TJ missing? He was pulled over. I have no idea why dispatch thought he was missing. Sounds like Drew's truck was actually a piece of crud--Danny is already having problems with it. Hugh acts like he could care less. I wonder why he has problems keeping drivers? Hmmmmm....

I think the same thing about Hugh. He just doesn't seem to be a nice man. Drew seems like a big whiner. He acts like he can do everything and doesn't seem very humble about things.

I like TJ, Jay and Alex.

Who's Danny? I can't remember him.

Danny was new this week. He flew up to Yellowknife to take Drew's place to drive for Hugh. He's driving Drew's rig! AND already having problems with it. Hugh seems unconcerned about anyone except himself and making the most $$.

i really enjoy this show along with deadliest catch, my husband loves them too. drew was a whiner but hugh's attitude really sucks he is all about making money and i understand that but if ya got trucks down you should fix them so ya have more trucks running making more money.

True but I'm sure fixing big rigs is very expensive! I'm sure these guys are running on the edge financially and anything like that will put them behind financially. For example, TJ's trip to the hospital by lifeline. He has to pay for that--I can't remember the exact number of trips he said he would have to take to make up the $$ but I was thinking he said he would have to make 11 trips to make up the cost since they don't have insurance!

That is correct...he said he would practically be starting over from the beginning with the money after his life flight to the hospital! Which sucks...but hey...he still has his life! :) Hugh is a jerk...did you see last nights show? Next week is the finale, but he's doing this to his best friend???? What???? Just not right! Poor guys feet are freezing off....stupid!

I'm wondering when the heck Rick and Hugh became "best friends!" This week's epi was the first time I'd heard that. I thought Hugh said something early on about wishing he had fired him last season. Doesn't sound like a BFF to me!

I actually thought this week's epi was completely boring. It looks like the big season finale will be less than climatic too. I wonder if this will get picked up for a second season. I have dropped by their BB a few times to lurk. Apparently there are a couple of posters there who clain to be Drew and TJ... interesting.

Hmmm...weird! We ended up turning off the tv about 20 minutes left to go because we were bored with it as well...Hopefully the finale will be better!

Finale was last night. This has been an interesting show. Hugh got side swiped. I was hoping Alex would win the dash for the cash but Hugh got that title with 37 loads. Alex as second with 36 and Jay came it at 35. Rookie TJ got 23 (I think). It was too sweet when Jay got home and held his little girl. For being such a young man, he's got a really good head on his shoulders and a really big heart. Hugh worked my nerves the whole season with his attitude. I just fell in love with Alex. I don't know what it was about that big ole hairy truck driver but he was my favorite.

OH I was fine with a Hugh win, although I would have liked to see Alex win too. I wonder why they keep saying he fired Drew--the editing made it look like he quit. Did you notice that lpatrick? I just finished watching the finale--I'm home today--had minor foot surgery this morning. I wonder if they will do another season this year? I hope so :)

They said at the end of the show that Ice Road Truckers 2 would be coming out soon...I wonder if that was from last year and another is coming out for this year?

I wonder if they filmed at another location--I don't think Canada has the only Ice Roads. I do know that this season's Ice Road Truckers was filmed THIS year...

Last night I watched the Then and Now show. It was very interesting to see 75 years of history on ice road trucking. Did anyone else get to see it?

hmm...I didn't get to watch that...but we did get to catch the first episode that we had originally missed! :)

No... I thought last night was going to be a repeat of the first episode! I'm ticked if I missed a new epi.

Did anyone see the 2 part after-show gab session with the guys? I got the feeling all was good with Rick and Hugh, but DEFINITELY got the feeling all was NOT good between Drew and Hugh. I hope this comes back for another season. I loved this show!

I saw that JB and loved it. I hope it returns also.

I think after that show--seeing them informally--I like Hugh maybe a little less and Alex maybe a little more. Rick more, Drew less (if that was possible), Jay alot less and TJ a little less. Who was that white girl with the dredlocks???? I never saw her on the show. Did I miss it? And if not, why have her on a "reunion" show? Something tells me if that show goes again next year we'll see her... ugh

The Deadliest Catch is one of the best shows on TV. I dont know why i love it so much but i do.

Has anyone heard whether or not they are filming another season of this?

I haven't heard about the Truckers but I know there's going to be some new show about Tree Loggers (?). Looks pretty dangerous. Don't know if it will be as exciting as our truckers but it might be worth a looksee.
