Will Melissa survive on the men's team or will she sink their ship too? All your thoughts about tonight's episode belong in the best thread ever, right here!

I wish we had a little dancing emotie here. If we did it would be *here* because Melissa is gone!

She got her last chance and it's nice that she's gone. The Red Team were rocking the kitchen last night.

I did feel bad for Rock when he was told to go to the photo shoot just to pick up the trash. That was a little much.

Good choice on who went home.

BTW....Welcome to ART silentdreams.

I think Melissa had a total meltdown. If you compare the woman who started the show to the one who left it's like two different people. Her caustic remarks and self absorbtion stayed the same but her grooming went haywire. I am wondering if maybe she got some job offer she wanted to take so she sabatoged herself. She was so into this it just doesn't make sense other wise. Nobody goes from being so sure of themselves and trying to help everyone else (even when the don't want the help) to becoming what she turned into.

Unless she was offered the Executive Chef position somewhere I can't imagine she would give up the chance to be Head Chef at a restaurant in Vegas... I'm just saying... :D

Well, I kinda felt he had it coming after his little hissy fit earlier... which is probably why he was picked to do it I'm sure. If he's so sure he's somehow better than the a garbageman or something, I'm kind of glad they tried to take him down a notch.
In a way, it's a similar kind of arrogance that Melissa had; (feeling she was better than a nanny, a pastry chef, and breakfast cook) so it was nice to see her go before the rest of the girls.

Right .. I am going to play devil's advocate here. When someone works hard at perfecting a craft be it cooking, driving, knitting, brain surgery or crossword puzzles don't you think they have earned some bragging rights?

As much as I like Julia I do believe she is out of her element. Giving her a restaurant to run would, to me, be like getting a pediatrics intern to do brain surgery without formal education. Both have medical knowledge but one is definitely not qualified to operate on the brain.
This is how I feel about Julia. She is not qualified, no matter how nice she is, to run a restaurant at this point in time.

Some people have a 'natural' talent for certain things. But most of us have to study and learn in order to move on in our professions (or marry in to it if you like)

Sure it's fine that they have earned bragging rights... but, I think that it takes class to simply let their talents and what they've learned show. If they are SO good, is it necessary to point out how bad everyone else is just to make themselves look better? Shouldn't be. :)

Tid bit in this weeks TV Guide. The 'former' manager of a New York restaurant in his new show, "Kitchen Nightmares" is suing Ramsay accusing him that some or all of his Kitchen Nightmare shows are fake. mmmmmmmmmmmmm???
