Tonight we got a real treat and had a mini All Stars. Season 1 final 4 vs. Season 2 final 4. It was great to see them all again and I think it was obvious from the get-go which team was going to win. The team that Marcel wasn't on...obviously.

After watching the seasons go head-to-head it became clear that, even though Season 2 had more "characters" in their cast and the hotty that is Sam, Season 1 had a broader range of talent.

It was also good to get a sneak peak of Season 3 as they were the diners at the elimination challenge.

Can't wait for TC3! YAY!!!

OK somebody needs to post something about last night's ep. I missed it! Too much great stuff on-- American Inventor, Last comic Standing, Ghost Hunters... how is a girl to choose? Something had to give and I missed TC3. :cry:

You can always catch repeats jb. It's on Bravo so they'll show it a kazillion more times before next week's show.

It was a lot of fun, but confusing because there are a lot of contestants. They are all very talented and colorful. It's going to be a great season.

It's on the Bravo website too... maybe I should check it out... I don't get that show around these parts...

You'll absolutely love it dflem. The first two season's were awesome. This season is going to be explosive though with all the big heads in the kitchen. :laugh

If you get a chance to see any of the first two seasons (I recommend Season 1), take it. My only gripe is that we can't taste any of the food. Although, tonight's elimination challenge was not something I would be interested in tasting AT ALL! :O

I still haven't caught the whole show but I did catch about the last 20 minutes of it over the weekend. I'm guessing the challenge was to cook with unusual ingredients?

Unusual proteins...rattle snake, eel, gouy duck (sp. ?) to name a few.

Ah... all the food groups I don't eat. :laugh

This was a good episode. I was so sorry to see Amy go. She was one of my favorites. I hope Micah and the cry-baby guy are gone in the next few eliminations. I dislike when people don't take ownership of their failures!

I recorded this last night but haven't had a chance to watch yet. I'm overstimulated on Wednesday nights now--too much on AND i have to be at work Thursday mornings at 6:30 so... can't stay up late! :(

I have to have myself and my 10 year old up at 5:00 a.m. Mon-Fri to make it to work on time. There are nights I'm in bed by 8:15 regardless of what's on and there are nights (like last night) I'm up until 12:30 a.m. :oooo That's what the weekend is for. :D

OK so I got to watch last night. I do find Hung annoying in his arrogance but Joey needs to get over himself. I think he may go soon if he doesn't change his attitude. What was Sandee thinking? Did she really think that just using the grill to heat the water that poached the lobster was going to cut it? Obviously she did. I really would have asked Joey to leave or Howie instead. Neither of their dishes were what I would consider "upscale" while Sandee's was. Still I guess it's a judges call...

I'm totally happy with the outcome of last night's show. I think the person who got the boot (see I'm being nice to you FG in case you haven't seen it yet) totally deserved it! That person's attitude left alot to be desired!

crunchy meatloaf?!?! What's THAT about? Granted it's been awhile since I've partaken but "crunchy?"

I cannot make a meatloaf to save my life. Mine ends up being mushy so crunchy sounds better. Do you think the deep-fried meatloaf was crunchy on Sunday's show? :laugh

You know, it almost sounded like maybe the crust was because they kept commenting on the crunchy crust or something about how yummy the crust was. It all sound yuck to me but hey, I don't eat meat so...

Maybe that was the bacon wrapped on top! *drool* I know it was a heart-attack on a plate, but day-um it sounded really good to me!!

I though the vegetable lasagne could have been really good then Joey went and ruined it by putting turkey and chicken in it. Blech!

It's still better than chicken ala king on skewers! :crazy

I thought her sauce to the side of the skewers looked like hurl! I don't know what chicken a la King is really supposed to be like but that sauce just about made me sick just looking at it. The "sauce" on Howie's pork chops also looked nasty. It looked like blood or some other body fluid that had run out on the plate from the meat. ICK--no thanks!

Anybody still watching? I loved the last epi - it's great to see regular old guys like Joey and Howie come out on top and freaky-deaky guys like Hung (Hang? what's his name?) get a little blow to their supposed "talent" ... okay, I know he totally didn't hear it, but it was still nice. I would, however, like to see Casey and Dale start stepping it up a bit - they're both likable, but just don't seem to be doing well. As for the last elimination, I can see why they chose Leah, but I thought that Sara N made the worst error in serving what was basically guacomole and that she should've been sent packing.

Hung needs to GO. What was that nasty chocolate mousse he tried to pass off. And serving dry chicken and gummy rice? And then having the nerve to defend his food as GOOD?? He needs an attitude adjustment. Seriously.

Even though she made a judgement error on her dish I still like Sara Nguyen better than Jamacian Sara! She rubs me the wrong way.

Casey dodged a bullet this week--IMO she deserved to go instead of Lia--but honestly they should have done a double boot because Lia deserved to go too.

Hung isn't going anywhere and we all know it. Like last year's runner-up, he'll be around all season to annoy us.

Leah went because she should have gone last week, but had immunity so they couldn't send her. You could tell Tom was really pissed about it too. The guacamole dish at least had flavor where Lea's had none.
