Description: Part Two
dfleminator - May 9, 2007 09:39 PM (GMT)
Alright, we've been having some technical difficulty with this thread according to some of our posters, so I'm going to try this. Let's continue posting here, and please let me know if there's any more problems!
The previous thread has been closed but you can read it right
here.
Sorry for any inconvenience.

Thanks for the update FG. At this point I'm wondering if the next reality show Dustin shows up on will be "Intervention."
funnygirl - May 10, 2007 02:22 PM (GMT)
:laugh Too funny JB. I hope to not see him on my television ever again. He's the worst kind of tool!
jonnysbandit - May 10, 2007 02:27 PM (GMT)
I wish I could remember what the heck I saw him on last year. It was some kind of feature about his financial problems with the house and selling T-shirts. It also featured his wife--who didn't seem creepy but like a normal person--and talked about her miscarriage. Kind of weird. It was after that some time that I heard about the now infamous "skittles tape." I kind of wondered if he's still married...
jonnysbandit - May 14, 2007 12:03 PM (GMT)
Looks like Dustin was on his best (well for him anyway) behavior this week. Doesn't look as though it will last. Previews for next week look like he completely crosses the line. How far will he go to shed his "Screech" image? I wonder what he was like on the Saved by the Bell set...
funnygirl - May 15, 2007 03:46 PM (GMT)
No kidding. I'm glad he's gone next week.
Maureen and Ross are looking spectacular already. I'm happy about the team divisions and I can't wait to see who they get to replace Dustin!
jonnysbandit - May 16, 2007 11:57 AM (GMT)
Do we know for sure Dustin is "dust" next week?
funnygirl - May 16, 2007 07:41 PM (GMT)
Yes. I think there's a mutiny.
jonnysbandit - May 16, 2007 08:15 PM (GMT)
Well I caught a bit of the previews and he is just RUDE where Kimberly is concerned--although to be honest I think she's playing it just a bit too--but I'd be disgusted by his "offer" too.
funnygirl - May 16, 2007 09:31 PM (GMT)
I think the whole thing is staged, but you just never know.
jonnysbandit - May 17, 2007 12:17 PM (GMT)
Oh I think EVERYTHING on reality tv is staged but still... there ARE lines of "taste" one shouldn't cross!
jonnysbandit - May 21, 2007 04:35 PM (GMT)
OK I still stand by my assessment last week after having seen the show this week. Dustin's comments were crude but Kimberly should learn to let things like that roll off her back. Letting someone like that know how much they upset you will only egg them on. I'm not saying she should put up with being sexually harassed or anything but she did seem like she was really milking it. I wonder if there was something we didn't see regarding this.
funnygirl - May 21, 2007 04:43 PM (GMT)
I'm sure there was a lot we've seen regarding this program! I wish it were more like The Biggest Loser in that they pay more attention to the actual weight loss and exercise part of it and less on the drama BS, but it is VH1 so what do you want.
jonnysbandit - May 29, 2007 03:52 PM (GMT)
Did you notice how boring this week was without Dustin's drama? *yawn*
Cletus has some real issues! Did you notice his breakdown about deviating from the "formula?" OY! I wish they would have made him stick with variation another week THEN if he gained or didn't lose they would concede that he might be right. One week doesn't really prove anything.
funnygirl - May 29, 2007 04:46 PM (GMT)
I didn't find it boring. I found it to be interesting and a little educational. I wish Cledus would realize that at week 8 and several really good weigh-ins he's going to have a week where nothing happens. He's lucky he didn't gain anything. I wonder if his behavior is residuals to his wild and wicked ways early on. :?
I don't miss Dustin at all. I don't like self-serving people who need to make fun of others just to get some attention.
jonnysbandit - May 29, 2007 06:59 PM (GMT)
Awwww, you don't like me! :cry
:laugh
funnygirl - May 29, 2007 08:19 PM (GMT)
I do like you jb, it's just that I think they are letting this go too far and it's so freakin' obvious what these "problem actors" are really trying to do. Except, of course, Jeff Conaway. :wacko
jonnysbandit - May 30, 2007 01:24 AM (GMT)
I'm kidding you FG.
I agree with you but hey, we all know drama makes some people watch "reality" tv.
funnygirl - May 30, 2007 03:31 AM (GMT)
I don't like it. I don't like seeing a very tragic 20 year old movie star on the front page of newspapers and magazines hopped up on drugs and alcohol and I sure as heck don't like to watch child actors make complete asses out of themselves trying to promote a very dead career. :no I hope this keeps him in the skittles industry so I don't have to endure any more of his crap.
Maybe I'm more Brady Bunch, but I truly do like to see these "B" celebrities go through the same trials and tribulations the rest of us must face to stay healthy and fit. Seeing that they have moments that have brought on the body image issues just makes me feel better. If I wanted to watch crap tv, I'd TiVo Surreal Life.
dfleminator - May 30, 2007 03:55 AM (GMT)
:giggle: The "skittles" industry...
jonnysbandit - June 2, 2007 01:57 PM (GMT)
BTW I saw Maureen in a recent OK! magazine and she looks AWESOME and said she lost 38 lbs on CFC.
jonnysbandit - June 11, 2007 12:17 PM (GMT)
Well Dustin has turned out to be a big dud this season. All bluster and nothing to back it up. Not surprising...
funnygirl - June 11, 2007 02:11 PM (GMT)
It looks like they are going to give him the spotlight again next week. It's so obviously staged at this point.
jonnysbandit - June 11, 2007 02:52 PM (GMT)
Well at least he hasn't gained instead of lost like...who was it that did that before? Countess Vaughn?
jonnysbandit - June 15, 2007 03:04 PM (GMT)
Season finale is Sunday! :yay:
funnygirl - June 18, 2007 04:33 AM (GMT)
The finale' would have been phenomenal if it weren't for the finale'. :S
In my opinoin, Dustin ruined a great season and I abhor the editors for giving him as much air time as they did. If this continues, I may have to ban the show from my TiVo. What a great cast of 7 they had. And DaBrat looked phenomenal. It was great to see another side of her.
jonnysbandit - June 18, 2007 12:10 PM (GMT)
Too bad Dustin still gets all the prizes like the rest of the folks on his team who actually EARNED it! I missed all but the last 20 minutes--I was watching The Next Food Network Star.
