HOMETOWN
SANTA MONICA, CA

AGE
26

OCCUPATION
NAT'L/INT'L SALES MGR.

Heidi, 26, grew up in the small farming community of Unionville, Michigan. Developing a drive for success and an entrepreneurial spirit early on, she began modeling at age 13 and appeared in several national and international print and commercial ad campaigns. She attended the University of Michigan-Flint and Michigan State University before taking advantage of lucrative career opportunities in Los Angeles. Heidi took on the challenge of working in the male-dominated aerospace industry, where she dramatically increased the company sales, international brand awareness, and marketing efforts and was promoted to the position of national sales manager within one year. Achieving great success domestically by doubling sales numbers and sales staff, she was again promoted to International Sales Manager and is currently in charge of business relations around the world. In her spare time, Heidi enjoys camping, rock climbing, snow-mobiling and traveling, as well as spending time with friends and family. Heidi says, "Because the Trump organization has many dealings that cross geographic and cultural lines, my impressive record of winning new business relationships on a worldwide level makes me the ideal Apprentice."

"Success" can mean different things to different people; what does it mean to you and how will you know when you've achieved it?
Success is extremely important to me. To me success is balancing health, happiness, love and laughter in all that you do. Striving for excellence, achieving goals and doing it all over again at another level. Success to me is finding a path that gives you this balance and enables you to live life to the fullest. I feel that I will be striving to achieve success at different levels for the rest of my life, and I look forward to it.

Describe the toughest business situation you've had to deal with and what you did to solve the problem.
I have endured several tough business situations and with each one I have looked for the root of the problem and addressed it accordingly. I feel it is important to make sure that things are addressed urgently and efficiently. Listening is very important in solutions. In business I feel that each tough business situation, problem, or failure makes you a stronger individual and with each one there is a lesson to be learned. I always try to maintain a positive and proactive attitude.

What lessons have you learned from past Apprentice winners or candidates?
I have learned to get to the point and not be afraid to ask for what you want. The worst thing that can happen is someone says "no."

Why should you be Donald Trump's next Apprentice?
In addition to having a track record of success in expanding a company's infrastructure and sales organization around the world, I have the ability to achieve that success by building positive business relationships through creating exceptional value propositions, motivation, problem solving and innovation in addition to just rolling up my sleeves to get the job done when appropriate. I possess the ability to win using any or all of these qualities where needed, rather than relying on only one useful tactic to succeed.

I should be the next Apprentice because I have a unique mix of core skills and values, which I have adapted and put to use with demonstrated results around the world. Because the Trump organization has many operations that are not constrained within geographic or cultural lines, it will be imperative for the next Apprentice to have a demonstrated ability to conduct successful business across these lines globally.

What's your favorite thing about Los Angeles?
The diversity. Los Angeles is a melting pot of cultures and religions. It is a city filled with promise and opportunity for all who are motivated to succeed. And of course, I love the beach!

What's your least favorite thing about Los Angeles? And you're not allowed to say "traffic."
SMOG!

What will surprise viewers about this sixth season of The Apprentice?
The very different personalities!

UP CLOSE

What's your marital/parental status?
I am not married and have no children.

If you could be the star of any movie ever made, which movie would it be and why?
That is a tough question... I am fascinated by the old west and I love adventure so I would first say "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," but I would also say "Some Like It Hot" because I love to laugh, and I would have loved to work with icons like Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon, and Tony Curtis. I bet they laughed and had a lot of fun while filming.

What are your three favorite albums of all time?
Van Morrison: Into the Mystic
Def Leopard: Hysteria
Bona Fide Blue: Grass & Mountain Music

What are your three favorite books of all time?
"The Making of the American West" by Jon E. Lewis
"Bury my heart at Wounded Knee" by Dee Brown
"The Official Scrabble Dictionary" - So I can catch my best friends cheating!

What hobbies do you enjoy, outside of trying to impress Donald Trump?
I enjoy traveling, snowmobiling, camping, hiking, rock climbing, basketball, riding dirt bikes, snow and water skiing, cooking, and scrapbooking.

Her title as "The Hottie" bothers me to no end, but I actually kind of like her. She has potential, at least.
