Last week, Christian was eliminated leaving 12 girls to vie for the title of America's Next Top Model.

The first thing in the morning, we hear the squeal of Tyyyyyyra Maiiiiiil.

Every morning, I have to have two glasses of freshed squeezed O Jays to get me going. This morn, I suggest you do the same.

The girls take this to heart and set their alarm clocks to be sure to rise and shine early. This doesn't set well with Monique, since she says she needs her beauty sleep and so now she is in a bad mood. :angry
They meet with Jay and Miss J for breakfast. Jay's words of advice are "going to a place of vulnerabiliy is a really difficult thing to do, but if you can do it , it will really come out in your photographs".
The girls finish their breakfast and head back home, where they find the door is locked !! Who should open the door for them ? Tyra of course, which is met with screams of joy, and even MORE screams of joy as they discover that their living room has been turned into a salon. Tyra introduces Frederic Fekkai, world renowned hair stylist to the stars, which can only mean one thing. It's time for .. the makeovers !!!!

The Makeovers

Tyra tells each girl what her makeover will be.

Melrose : platinum blonde long hair

Brooke : chocolate brown long hair

Eugena : hair extensions

Megan : blonde pixie hair

Anchal : layers and some shortening. Also, they are going to move back her hairline a bit. :O

Monique : a little lighter and layered a bit. Monique is disappointed.

Caridee : weave

A.J. : Linda Evangelista short hair, lightened up a bit.

Megg : lots of curl and longer

Michelle : long red hair

Amanda : fire engine red, but long and straight.

Jaeda : Halle Berry hair

As the girl's get their new hairdo's, most are ecstatic. Jaeda, Melrose, A.J. and Monique however, take little hissy fits which pisses off Jay. He tells the girls that they are insulting their guests and Tyra as well. He's disgusted with the whole situation and says he is going to go home to sleep. :tireder

Back at home, their is more complaining and some joyfulness, and then a loud shreik of Tyyyyyyra Maiiiiiiil !!

True queens are natural beauties that don't need makeup to make it to the top... So don't wear any today. Got it ??

They all meet (sans makeup) with Jay. He tells them that he has the entire Covergirl Makeup collection and the new Queen Collection for women of color, devoloped by Queen Latifah. The challenge is to grab the makeup in 30 seconds that best suits them and jump into an elevator which will stop on different floors. Each floor has different items that they must quickly collect. Wardrobe, shoes and accessories. All of the preparations will take place in the elevators. At the top floor they will meet with a CoverGirl executive for whom they will have to sell their look. If they miss the elevator, they are instantly disqualified.

The girls rush to find the appropriate makeup and get to the elevator on time. Megg misses the elevator and is disqualified.
As the elevator goes up, the girls hurriedly put on their makeup. The next floor is clothes. They frantically rip dresses off of the racks and rush to the elevator. Everyone makes it this time. Next floor is shoes and accessories. More rushing and fumbling and fighting for items. Monique misses the elevator and is disqualified.

At the top floor, they meet with the Cover Girl executive. Queen Latifah and her makeup artist, Roxanna Floyd. After each girl expresses what her look is, and after Queen Latifah makes her good and bad comments, the winner of the challenge is Eugena. She gets to select two girls, Caridee and Jaeda. These three will do a photo shoot the next day which will be featured on the CoverGirl website.

Back at home, Monique is in a rage over the fact that she was disqualified. She proceeds to get on the phone, and STAY on the phone for a total of 3 1/2 hours, even when she was talking to no one !! :wacko As she emerges from the phone room, she says "you can all KISS MAH GRITS !!" Real mature huh ?
Needless to say, the girls are less than happy with Monique's antics and have dubbed her *the most hated girl in the house*.
As they discuss her attitude, another sound reverberates throughout the house. Tyyyyyyyra Maiiiiiil.

It's time to wig out. Pump up the volume and get amped. Can you handle it baby ?

Off they go to Siren Studios where they meet with Jay. He tells them that they are bringing in three stylists that do some of the most outrageous hair styles that you sometimes see on the runway. The theme of today is .. does the hair wear you ? or do you wear the hair. All of the girls get extremely outrageous hair sculptures which is the best way to describe it. The whole point is to bring out your personality and make yourself stand out in SPITE of the hair.

And now it's time for the final Tyyyyyyyra Maiiiiil of the day.

Tomorrow you will meet with the judges. Only 11 of you will continue on in the hopes of becoming America's Next Top Model.

The girls meet with Tyra and the judges. Nigel, Miss J. Twiggy and Tracy Bayne, the photographer.

Evaluations

Melrose : Miss J loves the body movement in her photo. Tyra says she was in a strange pose, but she went for it and succeeded.

Anchal : Twiggy says it's beautiful and she could be in Vogue. Tracy says that because she has such tiny features, she needs to exaggerate them.

Jaeda : Nigel says it's not relaxed, it's aggressive. Tyra says she's no longer the prettiest girl in school and she thinks it's getting to her.

Megg : Tyra says that the minute she relaxes, she becomes just a normal girl. She's got to pull the model out of her.

Caridee : Miss J say she managed to do the shot and not lose her neck, which is a good thing. Nigel says she looks a bit mannish in the picture.

Eugena : Twiggy says she looks to mannish. Tyra says the reason that picture was used was because it was the ONLY one that she gave ANYTHING.

Michelle : Nigel says she nailed it. It looks now and contemporary. Tyra says she was impressed going through her photos because there were so many too choose from and that's a GOOD thing.

Amanda : Everyone ooh's and ahh's and Tracy says that she found her best side and used it.

Brooke : Nigel says she delivered a good shot even though in person she looks a little too cutesy.

Megan : Twiggy says it looks like something from a funny 50's lady magazine. Nigel says it was the weakest photo of all. Tyra says she got lost.

A.J. : Twiggy says it's peculiar and Tyra says when they photograph her low, it makes her nose look huge.

Monique : Nigel says he loved the picture but doesn't really like her in it. Tyra says Jay said she made a big improvement because she had nowhere to go but up.

The Deliberations

Michelle : Twiggy thinks she is one of the strongest ones.

Amanda : Twiggy says Michelle is stronger but she likes them both.

Eugena : Nigel says with that kind of amateur modelling, she's never going to make it.

Brooke : Miss J says she looks like a cute cheerleader. Rah rah rah, shish koom bah .. (haha) :laugh

Megg : Twiggy says she has terrible posture.

A.J. : Nigel says she has so many things that the fashion people love.

Jaeda : Tyra says she gets lost and Twiggy says she looks uncomfortable.

Megan : Miss J says she has a look that he's seen before .. boooorrrrrrringgggg !! Twiggy says it's her least favorite photograph.

Anchal : Twiggy loves it and Tyra say she is really serving some nice Tina Turner.

Melrose : Nigel says she has really done a 180.

Monique : Miss J says that her pictures aren't doing it for him and Nigel says that her picture screams "i don't know what i'm doing !!"

Caridee : Tyra says she loves the fact that she looks like a drag queen in the picture.

The Elimination

Tyra announces the girls that remain in the competition.

The final two girls are : Jaeda and Megan

Tyra says that both of them have short hair and to the eye they both look so strong. But they both failed the photo shoot miserably.

Megan is eliminated.
She says it's sad to say goodbye and she's surprised that she was eliminated so quickly. She says that maybe she should have shown more of herself to the judges and maybe she could have shown more of her character.

Next week, I'm not sure what we have in store because I cut off the show before the previews !! :O Sooooo, we'll just have to wait and see !! :S:

Becky, MEGAN was eliminated, not Megg. (Unfortunately)

Also, did anyone catch specifically what Monique did to Melrose? I've heard that she stuck her hand beneath her towel and then wiped it on Melrose's face - which is why Melrose went running & screaming. :O

If that's the case, I really think Monique should be slapped with some kind of harrassement suit. Not to mention the ANTM production company for not screening this psycho out.

As for what Monique did .. it was pretty gross so I didn't include it , however, from what I know, she evidentally put her hand under her towel and possibly *passed gas* then proceeded to rub the offending hand and smell on Melrose's face, which was disgusting to say the least. I chose not to put it in my recap because it made me a bit ill when they said it smelled like rotten eggs. Some things are better left unsaid. :S:

I thought she was wet from the pool and put pool water off her suit on her. All in all, pretty gross. I thought I heard the word "slimy" ?
