Dilana was freaking amazing. I love how the band was trying to emphasize that they hadn't made their choice, but let's all face it, Dilana has what it takes!

Ryan Star did an excellent job with the encore, and I have to admit I was a little shocked when they actually got rid of Zayra. (As well as when Magni was in the bottom three).

Overall, I thought it was a pretty good show, and I think they made the right choice in getting rid fo Zayra, even if I thought for sure they'd keep her for the drama.

I was very surprised to see Magni down in the bottom 3. I think Patrice should be the next to go, she isn't up to par with the rest.

I saw the show starting at Ryan's encore. I was suprised (not really) that they sent Zarya home. I thought they would keep her a little longer for entertainment value. Patrice stepped up during her elimination song, but I don't think she will front this band. And Magni being in the bottom three...come on. I know it's about the votes. I'm so glad that Gilby told him that he was so far from going home. He did a great job on "Creep." It suited his voice perfectly.

For once, it was a great show from start to finish. The only thing about Zayara I will miss is her costumes.

I think Patrice is better than Storm vocally, but she ruined it by being so freakin' cocky the first couple of weeks.

I think they are choosing the encore and evictions right,
but the song selection stinks...
every week you get about 2-3 decent songs and just hope
like f#*k that your favourite gets one of them...

I would agree, but I was so pleasantly surprised last year with some of the new sounds the rockers gave to some vintage tunes. I hate JD Fortune, but downloaded his "California Dreamin'' remake on my ipod. ;)

I loved Dilana's version of Time after Time and I actually liked Storm's "I Will Survive".

Just a little background as a newbie on this board. I'm 50, retired 13 years ago and spend my time with my wonderful wife enjoying music. We travel the country attending any concert we'd like to see and really enjoyed last season's Rockstar- although I think JD Fortune is a pretentious a$$ and haven't really been a big fan of INXS since the show ended.

Look, the median age group of the Rockstar voting population must be around 16 as evidenced by Magni going to the bottom 3. Please. Finally, Zayra goes away after weeks of her horrid voice- was there anyone else ever this far out of tune on this show? The only reason she was not sent earlier was to have something to laugh at, although it became embarassing after a couple weeks.

I honestly don't think I could sit and watch/listen to Lukas for a couple hours in concert.

Patrice will be gone after next week unless she absolutely brings it. My frontrunners include Dilana, Toby and Magni. Lukas is indeed a stage presence, but look and listen beyond the show and he's pretty one dimensional with his delivery.

Did anyone else notice the hypocrisy of Gilby calling out Jill Gioia a couple weeks ago for "grinding on him" while they performed, saying sex doesn't need to be part of the act, yet last night's Supernova performance with Dilana featured 4 sexy dancers- not that I have a problem with it, just don't call someone out for it then follow up with a complete stage act doing the same thing, eh?

Still the best performance of the entire series, last season and now, was Jordis Unga's version of "Man Who Sold the World." Nothing this season has come close to last season with respect to talent and vocal abilities.

I totally agree with that and I noticed too. I think if they do let a girl front the band it won't last. She will get out within an album or two max. I think only Toby, Ryan and Lukas could really handle the lifestyle these guys lead.

I too loved his version of "California Dreamin'" and finally managed to get it, along with a number of other songs from a freind. AWESOME song to crank up in the car when stuck in traffic. Plus you know I am a JD fan......only 3 weeks until I go to the concert!!!

Zayra got eliminated this week because her costume consisted of too much material in the performance show.!!! :laugh

So we all seem to be in agreeance that Patrice will leave next week, but who after that? Remember that out of the remaining 7 performers only three have ever been in the bottom 3 (Patrice, Magni & Ryan). This is really when the show begins I think.
